Joe Joyce vs. Filip Hrgovic live results, round-by-round updates, ring walks for major heavyweight fight
Uncrowned has Joe Joyce vs. Filip Hrgovic live results, round-by-round updates, highlights, ring walks and start time for the Joyce vs. Hrgovic fight card on Saturday afternoon at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, England. Joyce and Hrgovic, two veteran contenders coming off defeats, clash in a must-win fight to remain at the world level in the heavyweight division.
Joyce (16-3, 15 KOs), a 2016 Olympic silver medalist, managed wins over Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker in a stellar run to start his professional career until Zhilei Zhang toppled him in back-to-back inside-the-distance defeats in 2023.
"The Juggernaut" rebounded with a late stoppage of Kash Ali in March 2024, but fell short again to Derek Chisora in the fight after in a significant upset. Joyce, 39, now enters into another high-stakes heavyweight clash with Hrgovic knowing he needs a win to keep his career at the top level alive.
Hrgovic (17-1, 14 KOs) announced himself to the boxing world with a decision win over the China's big-punching Zhang in August 2022. He was mandatory challenger for the IBF title but ultimately lost that position to Dubois, suffering his first career defeat on the Queensberry vs. Matchroom 5 vs. 5 card this past June.
Elsewhere on the card, David Adeleye (13-1, 12 KOs) and Jeamie "TKV" Tshikeva (8-1, 5 KOs) collide for the vacant British heavyweight title that was recently relinquished by Fabio Wardley.
Joyce vs. Hrgovic prelims begin at 11:10 a.m. ET and stream live on Uncrowned below.
The main card starts at 2 p.m. ET on DAZN, and the main event ring walks are expected at 5 p.m. ET.

Evenepoel wins Dauphine stage four time trial to take lead
Belgium's Remco Evenepoel has taken the overall lead of the Criterium du Dauphine after victory in the time trial on stage 4. The reigning Olympic and world time trial champion beat nearest rival Jonas Vingegaard of Visma-Lease a Bike by 21 seconds on the 17.4km course. Advertisement Soudal-Quick Step's Evenepoel, considered to be the world's third best rider, will be competing against rivals Tadej Pogacar and Denmark's Vingegaard at the Tour de France next month. Reigning Tour champion Pogacar of UAE Team Emirates-XRG was a surprising 49 seconds down on the day to Evenepoel in a discipline in which the Slovenian is often peerless. Pogacar trails Evenepoel by 38 seconds in the general classification, with Vingegaard 16 seconds down in fifth place. Germany's Florian Lipowitz of Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe is second in the GC, four seconds down. "I'm very happy with this victory - the thousandth for the team," said Evenepoel after completing the course in his special Olympic gold helmet. "This one is for Patrick [Lefevere, former boss] - for everything he did for the team. Advertisement "I think in terms of [my] weight, it's already pretty good - much better than last year - I've been working super hard behind the scenes." The race, which takes place across the Dauphine region of south-east France, is the traditional warm-up for the Tour. Only four times in the last 10 editions has the overall winner gone on to be victorious in the Tour. Spaniard Ivan Romeo of Movistar lost the yellow jersey after victory on stage three, finishing one min 25 secs down to Evenepoel. The eight-day stage race moves on to Saint Priest on Thursday for a hilly 183km test to Macon. Saturday's stage is likely to see the most explosive action with three hugely steep hors category climbs in the French Alps to Valmeinier. Advertisement Stage four results 1. (Mac McCoy via AP) A New York man is laying claim to the record for most consecutive hours playing golf โ a 35-hour stint on a course on Long Island that began early Sunday evening and ended early Tuesday morning. Kelechi Ezihie initially planned to play 24 hours to set a Guinness World Record, only to learn hours into his effort that a British golfer had played for 32 straight hours on a course in Norway at the end of May. His sister had called him after seeing the 32-hour record while searching the internet, he said. Advertisement Surprised but determined, he plodded on through rain, fatigue and drenched and aching feet to outlast the Brit, Isaac Rowlands. 'I feel proud to be able to say I am a world champion,' he said. "This is an opportunity that not many people have. It's definitely something I will definitely be telling my kids and my grandkids moving forward in the future.' Armed with friends, flashlights and glow-in-the-dark golf balls, the 27-year-old Ezihie teed off at Huntington Crescent Club at about 6:30 p.m. on Sunday and sank his last putt shortly after 5:30 a.m. Tuesday โ playing the 18 holes seven times for a total of 126 holes, he said. Along the way, friends took video of the entire outing and other people served as witnesses so Guinness could verify the record, he said. He was allowed a five-minute break per hour, under Guinness rules, and ended up taking 20-minute breaks at the end of each round while still following the rules. Advertisement Kylie Galloway, a spokesperson for London-based Guinness, said it takes 12 to 15 weeks for specialists with the organization to review evidence and declare whether a record has been set. He said no one currently holds the record for longest golf marathon, and anyone who applies must have played at least 24 hours. Ezihie, an assistant manager at an organization that serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism, said he wanted to set the record to promote diversity in golf. 'People become intimidated when they hear about golf and they think it's for the wealthy," he said in a phone interview Wednesday. "I see how much golf has taught me, and I just believe that golf is a game that everybody should be able to get a chance to play and they could definitely learn life lessons from this game.' Ezihie, who has been playing golf for only two and a half years, also promotes golf locally and is trying to raise funds to build a golf center in Imo State in Nigeria, where he is from, to build interest in the sport among children. He has lived in the U.S. since 2008. Advertisement Near the end of his golf marathon in Tuesday's early hours, Ezihie said his feet were really hurting. 'I was willing to play 'til the wheels fell off, and I did just that. My legs gave up on me and I was limping almost through the whole round," he said, adding 'I enjoyed every round.'
