The 2025 Critics Choice Awards Red Carpet Shoes, Live Updates [PHOTOS]
The 30th annual Critics Choice Awards are set to take place Friday, Feb. 7 in Santa Monica.
The Critics Choice Awards were originally scheduled to take place Jan. 12, but was postponed after the L.A. wildfires hit the towns of Pacific Palisades and Altadena. While E!'s traditional red carpet pre-show was canceled, the stars still walked down the carpet in their best outfits and footwear. The ceremony, hosted by Chelsea Handler is hosting and will take place at the Barker Hangar, begins at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET. The ceremony will be broadcast live on E! at 7 p.m. ET, with the show tape-delayed on the West Coast to air at 7 p.m. PT. It will be available to stream on Peacock on Saturday. Jason Isaacs supports Tom Felton for Harry Potter return on Broadway
Jason Isaacs has already booked his tickets to see Tom Felton in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The 62-year-old actor played Lucius Malfoy - the father of Tom's character Draco - in the Harry Potter movie franchise and he's delighted his former on-screen son will be reprising the role in the Broadway show. He wrote on X: "Saw you presenting on the Tonys tonight son - you looked good, sounded good and did great. Tickets booked for November x." He was responding to a clip of Tom, 37, on the red carpet on Sunday (08.06.25) where he reflected on Jason's performance in The White Lotus. He told E! News: "He's fantastic. While Tom has never appeared on the New York stage before, his Harry Potter co-star Daniel Radcliffe - who played the titular boy wizard in all eight films - has starred in five productions so has been only too happy to offer help and guidance to his friend. Tom told PEOPLE magazine: "My old school chum, Potter, Radcliffe, has done quite a bit of Broadway, so he's holding my hand and certainly helping me through all the things that are hard to learn. "But from what I gather, it's an amazing community of people. The fans are really, really gracious and excited. So I'm just thrilled to be part of it." Meanwhile, Jason has also addressed the latest casting news for HBO's upcoming Harry Potter TV revival, which included Johnny Flynn being revealed as the new Lucius Malfoy. In a video shared on Instagram discussing his former 'Operation Mincemeat' co-star, he said: "I just heard that the great Johnny Flynn with be playing Mr. Malfoy in the new HBO TV series, which is sensational news for Harry Potter fans, which I want because Johnny is a brilliant actor. "Irritatingly, he's a brilliant musician as well, and a really lovely I can't wait to see what he comes up with. "Johnny, if you're watching this, enjoy yourself." Country Star Conner Smith Kills Elderly Woman in Car Accident: Police
Originally appeared on E! Online Conner Smith is at the center of an ongoing investigation. The country artist was behind the wheel of a pickup truck that struck a pedestrian June 8 in Nashville, according to a press release from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. The 77-year-old victim, identified as Dorothy Dobbins, appeared to be walking inside a marked crosswalk when the incident occurred, according to authorities. She was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she died shortly thereafter. Authorities listed the preliminary contributing factor for the fatal accident as Smith's failure to yield the right of way to Dobbins, noting in the release that the 24-year-old showed 'no signs of impairment.' No charges have been filed in the case. One day after the tragedy, Smith's attorney addressed the matter on behalf of the musician. 'On June 8th, Mr. Smith was involved in a car accident that tragically claimed a life,' Worrick G. Robinson said in a statement to E! News. The announcement that Dr. Squatch would be collaborating with Sydney Sweeney to sell a new scent of soap made with her bathwater just about broke the internet. Following that, after listing the soap for sale – named ' Sydney's Bathwater Bliss ' – the product immediately sold out within seconds. Dr. Squatch put up as many as 5,000 bars of soap for sale. Each bar was priced at $8.00. As shared via NBC New York, they were listed for sale at 12 PM ET, and they were immediately out of stock. Users were said to have an 'estimated wait time to check out […] listed at nearly 250 minutes,' while 'others complained the website crashed.' It seems as though scalpers beat the average consumers to the punch, with listings now appearing on eBay following the sale. Prices on the reseller website range anywhere from $300 to $2,000. It's an unfortunate problem that has plagued similar online drops for the last few years. Of course, soap made from Sydney Sweeney's used bathwater was always destined to be a high seller. After all, Sweeney and Dr. Squatch already got consumers interested with their collaborative marketing campaign, it made sense that selling soap with Sweeney's more direct involvement would be the next step. Now that all 5,000 bars of soap have sold out, however, it remains to be seen what direction Sydney Sweeney and Dr. Squatch will take their collaboration in next, if at all. After all, it's going to be difficult to beat ' Sydney's Bathwater Bliss ' as a legitimate product. Additionally, Sweeney has been enjoying a rather successful boost in her career over the last few years, with several major projects lined up including an adaptation of the hit video game Split Fiction and a remake of the sci-fi cult classic Barbarella . Clearly this new line of soap was just a quick detour while she prepares to move onto even bigger and better things.
