David Beckham's telling comment on 'heartbroken' Victoria amid bitter Brooklyn row
David Beckham has spoken out about his 50th birthday celebrations which his son Brooklyn missed due to their rumoured feud. The footballer icon made the telling comments about his birthday bash during a surprise meeting with King Charles at the Chelsea Flower Show yesterday, where the pair teased an upcoming project together.
Beckham, who was wearing a new pale pink rose named in honour of the King, looked delighted to see Charles and Camilla at the Highgrove Shop stand, where all profits go towards the work of The King's Foundation. The 50-year-old has acted as an ambassador for the charity for the past year.
David went on to discuss his recent 50th birthday celebrations earlier this month with Camilla asking about his wife Victoria, who she met in March when hosting a reception to mark the 15th anniversary of Women of the World (WOW), an organisation which promotes gender equality worldwide.
Providing the King and Queen with an update on his wife, he said: "She's doing very well. I had a busy weekend this weekend, so it was a lot of fun, a lot of fun." And appearing to reference his 50 year milestone, he jokingly added: "I know, finally!"
Charles and Camilla are believed to have sent Beckham a birthday present with the monarch asking him: "You got it, didn't you?"
Beckham replied: "It was incredible, thank you, it was very kind." Camilla later said: "Nice to see you again, glad you got the roses."
The Beckhams' meet up with the royals comes just days after it emerged that the King's estranged son Prince Harry and David's oldest child Brooklyn recently met at a dinner party amid both of their fall outs with their fathers.
It's believed that Harry and his wife Meghan Markle welcomed Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz into their Montecito home just days after the eldest Beckham child skipped his father's 50th birthday celebrations due to a messy family feud.
Meanwhile, Harry who has been at loggerheads with his father, King Charles and brother Prince William, for years now, was reportedly able to give his support and advice to Brooklyn, who has only recently become distant from his parents.
It comes as a 'heartbroken' Victoria Beckham reached out to her oldest son on social media yesterday. The former Spice Girls star uploaded a message for her son as their fall out continues.
The 51-year-old's post included a family snap of the couple's four kids alongside her parents Tony Adams and Jackie Adams.
The couple were photographed alongside their grandkids, Brooklyn, 26, Romeo Beckham, 22, Cruz Beckham, 20 and Harper Beckham, 12, in the snap posted by Victoria.
The fashion designer tagged her mother and three sons in the caption of the post.
Alongside the photo, Victoria vocalised her love for her parents and kids in the caption.
Writing seemingly on behalf of her and her husband David, she wrote: "We both love you all so much". She included a heart emoji.

Victoria tenderly held her daughter in the heartwarming picture. Cruz's decision to upload the image is very telling amid ongoing tension in the family after Brooklyn decided he no longer wanted contact with his famous family. Cruz did not add any captions nor did he tag his family members in the snap. Earlier today, it was revealed that Brooklyn is refusing to reply to messages amid the bitter feud, according to reports. The 26-year-old, who lives in LA with wife Nicola Peltz, 30, has no desire to speak to his parents or siblings after only learning about his dad's knighthood in the press, an insider has told Page Six. The sourced said: "Brooklyn told his family he wants no contact and he's not responding to those that try to connect.' However, a source close to Brooklyn denied this and said, "this seems to be another deliberate attempt to misrepresent the truth, and it only serves to distract from this honor being bestowed on Brooklyn's father." The Sun has contacted representatives for Brooklyn and the Beckhams for comment. England legend David will be knighted as part of King Charles' birthday honours. Peltz-Beckham's respond to reports of family feud It's a title he has coveted for some time and it means Victoria will be come Lady Beckham. David was first put forward for a knighthood in 2011 after helping to secure the London 2012 Olympics. But he was blocked from getting the title by the Honours Committee after becoming caught up in a tax avoidance scheme, along with many other stars. His finances were cleared by the taxman at least four years ago - paving the way for him to finally get the coveted honour. Just weeks ago we revealed how David and Victoria feel there might be no way to reconcile with their eldest child. Brooklyn, who was a no-show at David's star-studded 50th birthday celebrations last month, shared a video of himself and Nicola riding on his motorbike and wrote: 'My whole world. I will love you forever. I always choose you baby.' Those close to the Beckhams said the message seemed 'very pointed'. A source added: 'It shows how much this situation with his family has escalated. 5 Brooklyn has cut all contact with his family Credit: Getty 5 Brooklyn has been going through a difficult time Credit: Getty "It's very sad for everyone involved, especially David and Victoria who love him very much. This isn't the Brooklyn his family knows and loves. 'This post was like a dagger to their hearts but they will always be there for Brooklyn.' Tensions became public when Brooklyn did not publicly acknowledge fashion designer Victoria, 51, on Mother's Day. He then failed to show at any of David's 50th birthday parties. His mum and dad have continued to acknowledge him on social media, but pals of Brooklyn and Nicola suggested that was for show. The Sun revealed that the couple recently had dinner in California with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who were 'very empathetic'.

Brooklyn Beckham locked in trademark war with Becks just weeks after family feud is laid bare
BROOKYLN Beckham has another row brewing with a Becks — but this time it's not his famous father. The eldest son of David and Victoria wants to expand his hot sauce brand so applied to trademark 'Becks Buns' in the US. It comes after the Beckham family feud was blown open last month when Brooklyn, 26, missed all of David's 50th birthday celebrations. A source said: 'It's one thing after another for Brooklyn. "First his row with his dad blows up — and now he's got another Beck's looking like it's going to become a bit of a headache.' Advertisement Brooklyn applied in January to use the name 'Becks Buns' within his Buster Hot Sauce Inc company. However, the beer's German parent firm Brauerei Beck & Co has opposed it and been granted an extension until next month to file documents. The company is part of alcohol giant AB InBev, which produces one in four lagers sold worldwide, including Stella Artois and Budweiser as well as Beck's. Brooklyn launched his first hot sauce, Cloud 23, last year and said: 'It's been a passion project of mine for the last 2½ years, something I've literally put everything into. I've never worked so hard on anything in my life.' Advertisement His parents attended the launch event in LA. However, insiders said their relationship has 'never been more fractured'. Those close to Brooklyn — who is married to US actress Nicola Peltz, 30 — insist he made a private attempt to meet his dad ahead of his 50th. But that was vehemently denied by sources close to the former England captain. Advertisement It was also claimed Nicola, who has been accused of 'controlling' her husband, had hired a PR guru. Those close to her believe she is being 'unfairly blamed' for the issues. KICK? NO HE'LL EDIT FOOTIE icon David Beckham is to guest edit Country Life mag in October. The Internet's New 'It Bag' Is From A Secret High Street Brand - And Under £100
Calla Tote Bag in Dark Moss I'll admit it: I have a social media addiction, and I've got the screen time and ever-expanding closet to prove it. While that's not always great news for my bank account, it does mean that I can tap into trending items before they inevitably sell out. To wit, COS' cotton trousers – a spring essential whose eventual popularity landed it on the Lyst Index as one of the hottest products of Q1. And right now, I feel another trend brewing: a high street tote that's dominating influencer accounts and is destined to sell out at record speed. The Charles & Keith Calla tote bag, to be precise. Now this isn't the first time the Singaporean brand's accessories have landed on our radar. It's slouchy tote bag, with its sleek design and 'wear-anywhere' appeal was a common sight at Grazia HQ last winter. The Calla tote sticks to the versatile brief with its roomy construction and smooth leather, but with a more sculptural silhouette that adds a high fashion slant. Calla Tote Bag in Oat Much like the fashion editor-favourite Khaite Lotus bag, the Calla offers a structured silhouette that's still soft enough to sculpt to your body for a comfortable fit. Knotted arm straps and a detachable pouch add the perfect elegant yet functional finishing touches. The large tote also doesn't shy away from purpose. It's big enough to comfortably store your laptop, lunch, make-up and all those miscellaneous trinkets you're convinced you absolutely need through the day. Of course, as a fashion writer, I'm always more invested in the aesthetics and the fact is that the Calla tote is the kind of accessory that effortlessly elevates any outfit you wear it with. No matter if you style it with your classic trousers and button-downs for the office or use it to lug around your straw hat, sunscreen and Stanley on holidays, the structured tote is simply chic. Despite hitting all the right notes required for Instagram fame, the Calla tote possesses a minimalist yet statement-making design that is classic enough to achieve timeless popularity off-screen as well. No wonder then, that its black iteration is already sold out, but you can still shop the oat, toffee and dark moss colourways, each of which is a guaranteed compliment magnet at only £99.
