One People's Postcode Lottery winner has been left floored after a man in red turned up at her door and handed over her prize - it was the last thing she was expecting to open
A woman was left floored by her Postcode Lottery win and it's far from what she expected.
Rachael, an artist who goes by the name Rachael Robinson Art, participates in the People's Postcode Lottery and was delighted when a man in a red knocked on her door and handed her a prize.

In a video on TikTok, she shared: "Well, this is an unexpected parcel in the morning, isn't it? From the Postcode Lottery. Is this my invitation? Are you knocking on my door soon?

"Because, I mean, the guy at the door was in red, but he didn't hand me like a ridiculously sized envelope that then had £240,000 in it. I got this."
In the clip, Rachael held a small brown parcel up to the camera that boasted a Postcode Lottery sticker on the top that read "Congratulations". Unsure of what could be hidden inside, she began opening the package while on camera and said, "If this isn't one of those envelopes, I'm going to be mad."
Taking the prize out of the box, Rachael looked puzzled and asked: "What is it?" After a closer inspection, she discovered that it was a "never fall down mug".
Baffled by her unexpected win from the Postcode Lottery, she exclaimed: "What?" before adding, "You're not even funny, you're not. You're not funny at this point. This is an insult. No one wants your mug."
Rachael admitted that while she likes a mug, she still wants her "oversized envelope". In the caption she wrote: "@postcodelottery what you playing at! Here's me ready for my life changing money."

In the comments, she added: "Someone knocked at my door… without money."
People's Postcode Lottery has shed light on how winners can claim non-cash prizes, stating: "Throughout the year you can check using the Prize Draw Calendar for a full list of any non-cash prizes available each month.

"If you're lucky enough to win one of these prizes, you can enjoy them or gift them to family and friends. Prize Vouchers for our Lotteryshop."
If you strike it lucky, you will receive a voucher code, which you can use at the Lotteryshop. The shop offers a selection of over 30 enticing prizes.
In addition to that, there's a chance to snag an e-Gift card, which is spendable across various nationwide retailers. What's more, winners might receive a letterbox voucher that can be exchanged for a variety of preselected prizes.

Chris Hughes urged to 'keep some things private' after NSFW JoJo Siwa confession

Chris Hughes has made a rather shocking admission about his relationship with JoJo Siwa—and once you know it, you can't unknow it. The Celebrity Big Brother couple have been sharing glimpses of their romance on social media in the month they've been together. With JoJo, 22, in the States and Chris, 32—whom she calls 'my sweet Christopher'—in the UK, they've already jetted back and forth several times to spend time together. And after Chris gave his first tell-all interview about their blossoming relationship last week, it seems he just can't stop talking. The Love Island star made a very NSFW revelation in his latest chat with E! when asked about his future with JoJo, who previously dated Kath Ebbs, and the possibility of starting a family. Somehow, totally unprovoked, this led to him telling the world what his girlfriend has nicknamed his genitals. Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. 'During an interview with me, she (JoJo) did mention her dream for three kids named Freddie, Eddie, and Teddy,' the interviewer began, referencing a now-viral moment from the Dance Moms personality. 'I'm not sure if you have heard of this before,' he said, to which Chris began laughing. 'Yeah, she's mentioned those names before,' he smiled. Probed on his reaction, Chris steered the conversation in a very different direction. 'Well, she calls my balls Jimmy and Timmy, so she must love the rhyming lingo within her life.' While the interviewer chuckled in response, the comments section of a clip shared on Instagram quickly flooded with confusion and demands that both parties start keeping some things private. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video 'Yea know…. There are things we just keep to ourselves 🥴😂', commented @gabriellemast_. 'Oh helll nahhhhh', wrote @itspaulybih. 'Omg…tmi 🥴', added @halfordsue. 'These celebs telling us things we don't want to know nowadays', agreed @crystalicioussss. However, plenty leapt to the defence of the lovebirds, championing Chris's British sense of humour. Others pointed out how Jimmy and Timmy were reportedly nicknames JoJo used in the CBB house, making it a long-standing, open joke. 'Shows people didn't watch big brother😂😂😂', laughed @ngodza24 in reaction to the trolling. Chris's confession comes after he opened up about his love for JoJo and how he's already been mentally planning their wedding. Speaking to The Sun, he admitted: 'I'd love to marry her. I'd be lying if I didn't tell you I run through scenarios of our wedding day … We'd have a proper English wedding, and I can imagine her in a full wedding dress.' On having children together, he added: 'We both want kids. 'We come from loving families. My mum loves her. She's my best friend. I love that she's the person I have to do nothing with and still have the best time. That's everything to me.' Elsewhere in the gushing interview, Chris explained that JoJo makes him feel 'safe'. He also made it clear he has no time for critics of their age gap or those accusing them of a 'showmance'. 'I wouldn't go to the effort of loving someone for any other reason than it being real,' he declared. Before his relationship with JoJo, Chris's former girlfriends included ITV presenter Olivia Attwood and Little Mix pop star Jesy Nelson. More Trending JoJo previously identified as a lesbian, having only publicly dated women and non-binary partners. However, she and Aussie musician Kath, 27, broke things off at the CBB wrap party in dramatic fashion, with JoJo now insisting that she feels more comfortable with the 'queer' label. Proving himself to be an ally, Chris declared in his interview earlier this month that 'love is love' and she is 'still part of the LGBTQ+ community,' regardless of who she is with. Got a story? She then removed the mask and found her skin looked more hydrated and firmer than ever before. Faith said: "I've been lied to, I've been done over. Okay. These masks. 'Glass skin?' I'll give you glass skin. Glass skin! I look younger than my five-year-old when I peeled this off this morning, okay? "I didn't think it was gonna stay on for the night, so I was baffled that it made it through, but my gosh, I have never looked more hydrated in my life." The Narae Korean glass mask is a sheet mask infused with collagen, probiotics and hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin and improve the texture. Dita Von Teese, 51, reveals how she's kept her skin wrinkle-free as fans are convinced she 'looks 30' It's the perfect buy for those wanting an instant boost to their skin before a big event. How to reverse ageing in just 2 weeks, according to royal go-to nutritionist LONDON -based Gabriela Peacock, who has helped the likes of Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie prepare for their weddings. She told Fabulous: 'The science is evident that we all have the power to make simple life changing alterations to better our future selves - no matter what genetic hand we might have been dealt with. 'The reality is, we all sometimes indulge in unhealthy eating habits like processed foods, smoking cigarettes, drinking too much alcohol, inhaling city pollutants, and even drinking water from plastic bottles – none of this is good for us. 'All this does is promote the ageing process, but we all have the potential to change this.' It may be hard, but try to keep away from sugary carbohydrates, because they feed chronic inflammation, which is one of the worst enemies of reversing ageing. Now only will you end up putting on weight if you consume them regularly, but your energy and hormonal levels will be affected and this will influence how you look and feel. Whatever your age or state of health, it's never too late to reverse how quickly you are ageing and embrace the energy and vigour of a younger you. Antioxidants, such as vitamins A, C, and E, are essential in neutralising free radicals—the culprits behind premature ageing. Integrating a spectrum of colourful fruits and vegetables into your diet provides a potent source of antioxidants. Omega-3 fatty acids, abundant in fatty fish like salmon and flaxseeds, are vital for maintaining skin elasticity and hydration. Omega-3s act as nourishment for your skin, locking in moisture and diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. Collagen, a structural protein dwindling with age, can be replenished through collagen-rich foods like bone broth and lean protein sources. Another commented: "OMG I need!" "Oooooo I need a nice hydrating mask," penned a third. Meanwhile a fourth said: "I saw your reaction, loved it." Someone else added: "Unreal I'm getting these, save on Botox."

England icon Paul Gascoigne 'doing well' after collapse and trip to hospital

Paul Gascoigne's representative says the England football icon is 'doing well' and has returned home after a reported collapse and trip to hospital. Gascoigne was found 'semi-conscious' in the bedroom of his home and initially admitted to an intensive care unit, The Sun reported this weekend. The 58-year-old, nicknamed 'Gazza', has long been of concern among many supporters due to his well known battles with alcohol addiction and mental health struggles – although he did reportedly remain sober for three months over the summer. Gascoigne's representative has now provided an update on the man who helped lead England to the semi-finals of the 1990 World Cup and Euro 1996, widely considered one of the most talented players of his generation. 'Paul voluntarily went into A&E on Friday after struggling with a throat condition he has had for a while,' Carly Saward told the Associated Press. Saward, who works for the MNT talent agency, added: 'He is already back home and doing well.' Gascoigne is a legend for his country and a number of clubs he played for during his career – adored for his skill on the pitch and his personality off it. He is best known for his spells at Newcastle United, Tottenham, Lazio and Rangers and was capped 57 times by the Three Lions from 1988 to 1998. In March 2024, Gascoigne admitted he was a 'sad drunk' as he publicly opened up about his battle to stay sober. 'I used to be a happy drunk, I ain't anymore,' he said on the High Performance podcast. 'I'm a sad drunk. I don't go out and drink, I drink indoors. If I want to make it a bad day, [all I need to do is] go down the pub. 'If I want it to be a good day, I get my flying rod out and go fishing. It's not the drinking, it's the afterwards. 'Looking at my phone after and seeing 30 messages or missed calls, I know I'm in trouble. 'But I've been alright. Last year (2023) wasn't brilliant, was off and on for a couple of months.' More Trending England star fumes 'this is why I hate London' after his car is broken into In November 2024, Gascoigne revealed he had failed the psychiatrist test to appear on ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here five times, confessing that he was high on cocaine for one of the tests. 'You had to see a psychiatrist. If you pass the psychiatrist's test, you're in. I failed five f***ing times,' he told The Sun. 'And to be honest, the first time I went to see her, I was on cocaine, so she must have f***ing knew.'
