Davina McCall not afraid of dying following tumour removal
Talking to Fearne Cotton on her Happy Place podcast, McCall said: 'I am not afraid of dying anymore and it was the biggest journey of my life. From August 23 to November 24 was an amazing time where something changed.
'Begin Again, the podcast I started to help other people on their journey of living a life that they love enough to feel on their deathbed, whenever that may be, that I have no regrets.

'I have lived the life I wanted, and I'm not lying there going, 'I wish I'd done that thing, wish I'd done that job, I wish I'd not stayed in this relationship', all of those I haven't lived the life I want (things), and Begin Again is about just begin again and live the life you want.'
McCall, who is a judge on ITV singing show The Masked Singer, said her only concern about death is how her family would cope.
Speaking about the time her tumour was found, she added: 'I thought I need to get my brain in the right place and that was to a place where I could be calm, and what did I need to do to do that? Were my kids going to be okay if I didn't make it? That's all I really cared about.
'I knew Michael (Douglas, her partner), Michael's a whole person, Michael's Michael, but I was really worried about my kids.
'I went forensic on thinking about my children and where they were at in their life, what stage they were at. You're only as happy as your unhappiest child, right?

'I came to a realisation after about six months of cross-examining them about their life and telling them the whole time how much I've loved my life. My eldest daughter kept caught on. She was like, 'you are not dying', I was like, 'no, no, no', I realised that they would be great.
'They'd miss me and I want to be with them but they would be okay. I felt like I could go to sleep on the operating table and know that they were all here to help me, but I can let go of the outcome and it was the best gift. I am not afraid of dying.'
After her surgery, McCall spent time in intensive care before recovering at home with the help of Douglas.
She spoke about the removal of the tumour while co-presenting this year's Red Nose Day for Comic Relief and said it was 'the hardest thing I've ever been through'.

Symptoms include headaches, vision problems and drowsiness and some can be 'difficult to remove without damaging surrounding tissue'.

The comedian was forced to cancel a number of shows last-minute last week, causing concern among fans. He later revealed he had needed surgery to have his appendix removed. However, the father-of-six had other ideas and set about created a new travel itinerary so he could get to Portugal for the family getaway without flying. In his latest update, Jason has revealed he took a ferry to Bilbao for the opening leg of his 33-hour journey. Speaking from his vehicle, Jason told his followers on Twitter /X: "We got pulled into the side and the van searched and whatnot." Speaking to his friend, he explained they were "looking at my padel rackets". Due to having his kids' rackets too, Jason joked: "I think he thought I was reselling them." He added: "But the most worrying bit is when he went 'what's in there' which is like a box of stuff from Will Powders. And then opened this bag of collagen peptide which, let me show you, my heart was in my mouth." Chuckling while opening the product, Jason said: "It's literally a bag of white powder." He then joked: "Got away with it though," as he sarcastically gave an evil laugh. Jason has kept fans updated with his journey and health scare following last week's cancellations. Following the confirmation on Thursday that three more shows were to be cancelled, he took to social media to share an image of himself in a hospital bed. Jason wrote: "Appendix surgery all went well, now in recovery with my Vimto, they serve it in all Manchester hospitals. Bit of a scary & extremely painful 24 hours but thankful to our NHS & my incredible nurse mum who's a godsend in a health crisis!" He followed it with a tongue-in-cheek piece of "advice" to his followers. He said: "My advice would be to not get Appendicitis whilst driving at 70mph on the motorway! "Seriously though, I'm gutted that I've had to move the dates this weekend, and I'm sorry for the late notice to so many people in St Albans, Oxford, Lincoln, Skegness & at Kendall Calling. "I thought I could get by on antibiotics and surgery at a later date so I could still do the shows, but was advised not to. Also means I can't fly out to Portugal on Monday to join my family on holiday! Ah well, such is life. Thanks for all the 'Get Well Soon' messages." While three of his four cancelled gigs are to be rescheduled, comedian pal John Bishop stepped in to take his spot at Kendall Calling.

Davina McCall's stunned response to Scarlett Moffatt beating her to presenting job
Davina McCall has revealed her one-word response when she first learned that the Gogglebox star had landed her old job presenting a certain Channel 4 dating show Davina McCall has shared her furious one-word response after learning that Scarlett Moffatt had beaten her to a job she previously held. In a recent interview, the veteran presenter suggested that she was left disappointed when she lost out on the opportunity to host the revival of the Channel 4 dating show 'Streetmate'. She served as host on the show for three years from 1998 and was seemingly keen to get involved in the reboot, but the job ultimately went to Gogglebox star Scarlett in 2017. Davina even presented a one-off charity special in 2016, but she admitted that she had to "let go" of the new show. She also shared her one-word reaction when she first heard the news that Scarlett had landed the role. She told Closer magazine: "It was so fun doing it again, and Channel 4 were like, 'Let's bring it back!' Two days before they announced its revival, bosses told me they were going with Scarlett." She continued: "I was like, 'No!' but Scarlett presented it. It was tried out, and it didn't go (well), so I was like, 'We have to let go of that now'." In her old '90s role, Davina acted as a matchmaker as she travelled to the UK's high streets to send unsuspecting people on blind dates. When her stint on the show came to an end, Holly Willoughby hosted a revival in the 2000s. Over her three-decade career, Davina has established herself as one of the UK's best-loved presenters, hosting popular shows such as Big Brother, Long Lost Family, The Masked Singer, and My Mum Your Dad. She's also struck out into the world of health and fitness, releasing a series of DVDs, a range of exercise equipment, and a platform known as 'Own Your Goals' In other news, Davina has made a confession about her relationship with boyfriend Michael Douglas, highlighting something that she "looks forward" to the most. In an episode of the Making the Cut podcast, they shared that they'd met with Joel Dommett and his wife, Hannah Cooper. During this encounter, they played a game in which each person chooses a song and describes how it links to a memory. Davina admitted that she was looking forward to learning more about her partner, saying: "Because we're going to be together for the rest of our lives. I'm really looking forward to hearing all of the stories to all the songs." She went on to disclose that Michael had created a playlist of songs to assist her when she recently underwent brain surgery. Her operation came after a benign colloid cyst was discovered during a health check. Speaking in an interview on BBC's The One Show with Alex Jones and Vernon Kay, Davina revealed that she felt "so happy to be back" at work following her surgery.
