Bachman-Turner Overdrive extends 2025 tour, adds NY show. Get tickets
Vivid Seats is the New York Post's official ticketing partner. We may receive revenue from this partnership for sharing this content and/or when you make a purchase. Featured pricing is subject to change. Bachman-Turner Overdrive is is about to 'Let It Ride' yet again. The classic rockers just added eight fall shows to their ongoing 2025 'Roll On Down The Highway Tour' including October gigs in both New Jersey and New York. Those Tri-state concerts go down at Englewood, NJ's Bergen Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, Oct. 29, Atlantic City, NJ's Borgata Casino Event Center on Friday, Oct. 31 and North Tonawanda, NY's Riviera Theatre on Monday, Nov. 3. Prior to these newly-added autumn gigs, the group that brought the world 'Takin' Care of Business' and 'You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet' co-headline a run of summer gigs with Marshall Tucker Band and either Jefferson Starship or The Outlaws. They also have a handful of solo headlining gigs and a one-off with Blue Öyster Cult and Foghat lined up over the next few months as well. 'We're playing all the hits, as well as diving deep into the album cuts,' Bachman said in an official statement. '…the response from fans has been incredible.' In addition to all of the staples you know and love, it's also likely Bachman and co. will play their recently-released, nostalgia-tinged single '60 Years Ago.' The song is the band's first new release since 1996 when they put out a Europe-only cover of 'The House of the Rising Sun.' Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Bachman-Turner Overdrive shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for their co-headlining tour is Friday, June 13. Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand. They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event. Bachman-Turner Overdrive tour schedule 2025 A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues, special guests and links to buy tickets can be found below. Bachman-Turner Overdrive set list The band rocked Medford, MA's Chevalier Theatre last March. Based on our findings at Set List FM, here's what they entertained the audience with in Mass (including quite a few Guess Who songs as well as Randy's son Tal's '90s hit as advertised above). 01.) 'Roll On Down the Highway' 02.) 'Rock Is My Life, and This Is My Song' 03.) 'Shakin' All Over' (Johnny Kidd and the Pirates cover) 04.) 'These Eyes' (The Guess Who cover) 05.) 'No Time' (The Guess Who cover) 06.) 'Not Fragile' 07.) 'Four Wheel Drive' 08.) 'Lookin' Out for #1' 09.) 'Stayed Awake All Night' 10.) 'American Woman' (The Guess Who cover) 11.) 'No Sugar Tonight' (The Guess Who cover) 12.) 'Undun' (The Guess Who cover) 13.) 'She's So High' (Tal Bachman cover) 14.) 'Let It Ride' 15.) 'You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet' 16.) 'Hey You / All Right Now / Rock'n Me / You Shook Me All Night Long / Honky Tonk Women / Can't Take My Eyes Off You / Bang A Gong (Get It On) / Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye / Highway To Hell / Hey You' 17.) 'Takin' Care of Business' Bachman-Turner Overdrive new music On March 28, 2025, BTO dropped their first single in nearly 30 years. The nearly four-minute barroom rocker — appropriately dubbed '60 Years Ago' — name checks Canadian rock heroes Burton Cummings, Buffalo Springfield, The Guess Who and more. As an added bonus, the raucous ditty features a scorching guitar solo courtesy of The Godfather of Grunge himself, Mr. Neil Young. The song may be a last gasp for the aging rockers but also serves as proof positive that they still have gas left in the tank. If you'd like to hear the rallying cry of a tune for yourself, you can find '60 Years Ago' here. More about Bachman-Turner Overdrive In May 2024, The Post spoke with Randy Bachman about the origins of their classic 'Takin' Care Of Business,' new music and career highlights. 'One night I'm driving to a gig in Vancouver and a guy comes on the radio station. He says 'Hi, this is Daryl B and we're taking care of business,'' the 81-year-old told us about how the iconic tune came to be. Bachman wrote the title down and made the band play the song on the spot — unprepared and unrehearsed (!) — that night. Yes, the memorable call and response 'Takin' care of business/Every day/Takin' care of business/Every way/Takin' care of business/It's all mine/Takin' care of business/And workin' over time' was improvised. 'The crowd went crazy,' Bachman smiled. 'We recorded it two weeks later and that's what you hear.' For more stories like these, you can find our interview with Bachman here. Classic rockers on tour in 2025 BTO aren't the only rock icons who took the world by storm in the '70s performing live this year. Here are just five of our favorite classic acts you won't want to miss in concert these next few months. • Neil Young • Yusuf/Cat Stevens • Yes • Boz Scaggs • Jackson Browne Who else is touring in the near future? This LEGO Podrace Set is the perfect Father's Day gift for your Star Wars-obsessed dad
New York Post may be compensated and/or receive an affiliate commission if you click or buy through our links. Featured pricing is subject to change. The best way to spend Father's Day is to sit down with your dad and chat. That's best done, in our experience, over some sort of activity. Sometimes that's as simple as dinner. Maybe you mix it up and go fishing or golfing. Or, if you've got more of an indoor dad, you can hunker down together over a 'Star Wars' themed LEGO set, like the LEGO Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Mos ESPA Podrace Diorama, available for a whopping 44% off this week on Amazon. Post Wanted and Decider's very own Angela Tricario is a self-professed LEGO fanatic, and a 'Star Wars' fan, to boot. She's built the set in question, and had this to say about it: 'One of the favorite things my dad and I do together is build LEGOs, and though we didn't build this specific set together, he thought it was really cool once I'd put it together!' 'Perfect for any Star Wars fan, but especially prequel defenders like myself, this diorama style set combines building scenery with slightly more complex podracing vehicles for something that's not too hard, but definitely a little more challenging. This one ranks among my favorites in my collection because it's a great display piece once it's built, too; you can gift it to dad, and then he can admire his handiwork by displaying it for everyone to see.' We're sold! Amazon The LEGO Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Mos Espa Podrace Diorama captures the thrilling high-speed action of Anakin Skywalker's iconic race. With detailed brick-built podracers and a sculpted Tatooine landscape, it offers dynamic motion and nostalgia. Ideal for collectors, it celebrates Episode I's 25th anniversary, combining display-worthy design with authentic Star Wars charm in a compact, stylish diorama. Best of all? It's available for 44% off ahead of Father's Day on Amazon. This article was written by P.J. McCormick, New York Post Commerce Deals Writer/Reporter. David Harbour Says It's A 'Relief' That He's Almost Done With Stranger Things
David Harbour has admitted that a part of him is happy that Stranger Things is coming to an end. The Emmy nominee has played chief of police Jim Hopper in all four seasons of the hit Netflix sci-fi series, and will make one final outing in the role later this year for its fifth and final run. As part of a conversation with Scarlett Johansson for Interview magazine, David was asked whether it was 'a relief' that the last season of Stranger Things is almost here at last. 'When I started I loved it so much,' he responded. 'Buddies of mine who'd done TV shows for many years said, 'By season three or four you'll be running'. And I was like, 'Never! I love all these guys so much'. And then you get to a certain point where you're like, 'How much more story is there?'. 'You're having to play a lot of the same beat, and there's a feeling where you're like, 'I want to take a risk. I want to do something that people haven't seen me do before'. So yeah, after 10 years, it's like, 'Okay'.' Scarlett then said she felt similarly about her decade-long stint as a key figure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Black Widow star recalled: 'Some of the films that I did for Marvel engaged my character more than others. [In some] films, the cast was so enormous and there was so much plot to serve that you start to feel like you're a device to move it along. 'And if you're committed to five and a half months of that, it's like, 'Okay. I can't paint my nails, I can't get a haircut'. These sound like silly problems, but your identity is wrapped up in this job for a long time, and if you're not doing engaging work as an actor, you feel a little cagey sometimes.' 'It's the same thing with this show,' David agreed. 'There'd be certain seasons where you feel like, 'I'm going to go in this different direction'. But as you say, a piece of your psyche is occupied with this group of people and this storyline.' The final season of Stranger Things has been hit by several roadblocks (most notably the Hollywood strikes of 2023), which means it's now been three years since fans' last trip to Hawkins, Indiana. However, Netflix finally confirmed last week that the first 'volume' of Stranger Things' final season will debut at the end of November, with two more drops following on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. David previously said the script for season five was 'terrific', insisting that creators The Duffer Brothers 'continue to outdo themselves'.
