Ananya Panday serves Gen Z glam at Chanel's Cruise 2025/26 show in Lake Como
Ananya Panday
just made her international fashion mark again and this time, it was at none other than Chanel's Cruise 2025/26 show at the dreamy Lake Como in Italy on April 29. Ditching the OTT red carpet drama, the Kesari 2 star showed up looking effortlessly cool in a chic black three-tiered midi dress that screamed Gen Z elegance with a couture twist.
Let's talk details: Ananya's outfit was pure Métiers d'Art magic. The dress featured a plunging V-neckline with just the right amount of sparkle thanks to silver sequins subtly scattered across the bodice. The sharp buttoned front added some structure, while the full sleeves complete with glitzy sequin cuffs brought in that quiet luxury edge. Oh, and it had pockets. Stylish and practical? Yes, please.

The real showstopper though? That layered three-tier skirt. Each tier was edged with a hint of silver shine, giving her look a fun, flirty vibe while keeping it high fashion. It's one of those rare dresses that feels both red carpet-ready and dance floor-friendly.
Ananya kept the accessories sleek and striking, a pair of sparkly statement earrings, a glinting diamond ring, and classic black strappy heels that tied the whole look together without stealing the spotlight.
Makeup-wise, she played it soft and radiant. Think: nude eyes, winged liner, glowing skin, and that perfect barely-there nude lip. Her hair was styled in soft waves and left open in a middle parting, adding to the understated glam.
As for the venue, Chanel pulled out all the stops. The collection was showcased at the legendary Villa d'Este, perched right along the glittering shores of Lake Como. With its old-school cinematic glamour and postcard-perfect views, the whole event felt like stepping into a vintage fashion dream.
In a sea of fashion influencers and A-listers, Ananya stood out with her signature cool-girl energy. She proved once again that she knows how to mix youthfulness with high fashion and that she's more than ready to slay on the global style stage.

Aamir Khan reveals his No. 1 insecurity of his early days: 'Other top male actors made me nervous because...'
In the dynamic and often unpredictable world of Hindi cinema , Aamir Khan has carved a unique niche for himself as someone who constantly strives for excellence. His journey began in the late 1980s with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, a film that not only introduced him to audiences but also catapulted him to instant stardom. Over the decades, he has continued to maintain a strong presence in the industry, becoming one of its most respected figures. Despite his stature as a leading actor, Aamir once struggled with self-doubt, especially regarding his physical appearance. During the early stages of his career, one of his biggest concerns was his height. Standing around 5 feet 5 inches tall, Aamir felt noticeably shorter than many of his contemporaries at the time. Stars like Sunny Deol and Jackie Shroff dominated the screen with their towering presence, and Aamir often questioned whether someone of his height would be taken seriously in the industry. This sense of unease stayed with him for a while, particularly when actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Vinod Khanna, and Shatrughan Sinha—taller, commanding personalities—ruled the silver screen. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Crossout: New Apocalyptic MMO Crossout Play Now Undo During a recent interaction on a YouTube talk show, Aamir revisited these feelings when asked about a humorous line in the trailer of his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par , which pokes fun at his height. He admitted that, in the past, such remarks would have deeply unsettled him. However, over time, he grew more comfortable with himself and gradually shed that insecurity. A pivotal moment in his journey toward self-acceptance came through a conversation with renowned writer Javed Akhtar . Akhtar had once advised him that humour, when used wisely, could be a powerful tool during tough times. The ability to laugh at oneself, Akhtar explained, acts as a buffer against life's emotional bumps. This idea stuck with Aamir and helped him view his own perceived shortcomings in a new light. In another earlier discussion on a YouTube channel, Aamir had acknowledged that his height used to make him feel inferior and uncertain about how audiences might react to him. He feared rejection based on appearance alone. But with time and experience, he came to understand that talent, authenticity, and sincerity mattered far more than physical traits. Sitare Zameen Par, directed by RS Prasanna, stars Aamir alongside Genelia Deshmukh and introduces several fresh faces including Naman Misra and Simran Mangeshkar. The film is set to hit theatres on June 20, promising a heartfelt story brought to life by a cast full of new energy and seasoned talent.

Pride Month: Interfaith Pride Fest to be held in Hyderabad
Queerness and spirituality come together at Interfaith Pride Fest, a first-of-its-kind event in Hyderabad on June 14. Organised by DragVanti (a performing arts theatre) in collaboration with Rubaroo, Mobbera Foundation, Humans of Nirvana, and Bagh Bean Cafe, the festival aims to create a space for expression, reflection, and celebration. According to drag artiste Patruni Chidananda Sastry, the fest is a response to the rising religious intolerance faced by queer communities across the country. Sharing experiences The fest offers a platform for individuals to share their experiences of navigating faith while being queer. 'Many LGBTQIA+ people are often told their faith and identity cannot coexist, leaving them excluded from both religious spaces and queer circles for being too much of one or the other,' says Patruni. The festival aims to create a space where both identities can be held with dignity and respect. Line-up of events Deepti on navigating atheism and queerness Kiran Raj on Christianity and trans identity Antony on yoga for queers and unchecking religion Akki & Suprio on queer weddings across and beyond faiths Emma on interfaith ideology and queer futurism Panel with Kali, Jeevan, Jai & Riyaan on Gen Z and faith Bebo on being Muslim and trans women Savithri on interfaith worldviews through a queer lens Avijit, Chinmayee & Vaibhav on queerness and classical dance (Odissi, Kuchipudi, Kathak) KheMaya's drag performance 'Diva and Divine' Aeina's drag-Kathak storytelling 'Cognitive Dissonance' Interfaith drag music by Patruni Sastry A closing circle of spiritual reflections with everyone The four-hour event (5 pm to 9 pm) features live performances by queer artists from diverse faith backgrounds, along with storytelling sessions and a talk series. Speakers will explore topics such as navigating atheism and queerness, Gen Z's relationship with religion and faith, and how same-sex married couples view marriage through the lens of faith. When Patruni first started doing drag in 2019, many saw it as an 'anti-culture' art form — something hypersexual and outside traditional norms. But drawing from classical forms, Patruni realised that drag, too, can engage with questions of faith. This interest eventually led to deeper interfaith work. Patruni was part of a team that travelled to the UK for the Interfaith Youth Leadership programme organised by NGO Rubaroo, which brought together people of all faiths — queer and LGBTQIA+ — to reclaim faith spaces. Events like the annual Interfaith Pride Fest in America and the Dragon Spirituality Summit also became sources of inspiration.
