Mom checks on her toddler and Saint Bernard—and can't believe what she finds

Yahoo15 hours ago
Every mom knows that if their toddler is quiet, something is going on. For one little girl named Lavender, that 'something' was turning her giant Saint Bernard into the ultimate play set.
In a TikTok posted by @thanosthesaint, which has already racked up nearly 7 million views, Thanos the Saint Bernard is stretched out on the floor, sound asleep, one back leg pointing straight up in the air. Lavender takes full advantage of the perfect setup: she slides her stacking rings onto his paw like it's the world's most patient toy stand.
She carefully stacks and un-stacks them, experimenting with different color orders while her furry 'assistant' stays perfectly still. Even with cartoons playing in the background, Lavender stays laser-focused on her DIY game—and Thanos doesn't move a muscle.
The world's most patient playmate
At one point, Thanos stirs awake, only to flop back over and resume his nap, giving Lavender even more opportunities to perfect her stacking. Eventually, the video ends with Lavender cuddled up between Thanos and his fellow Saint Bernard, Dunder, proving just how much these dogs adore their tiny human.
And as a mom of an 18-month-old and a dog, I'll be honest: my house doesn't always look like this. Sometimes the toddler pulls ears, sometimes the dog steals snacks—and more often than not, I'm playing referee. That's why seeing a moment like this, where a child and a pet fall into an unspoken rhythm of patience and play, feels so magical. It's the kind of quiet harmony every mom hopes for, even if just for a few minutes.

The comments were just as good as the video
Parents and dog lovers alike couldn't get over both Lavender's determination and Thanos' gentle spirit.
@Hollymidfield said: 'The fact that she figured out that the rings fit on the dog's leg amazes me.'
@Rainonwater: 'He's like: she's quiet, let her do it.'
@breezygemini78: 'The dog is giving dad vibes, do whatever, just don't cry.'
And honestly, same.

Why moments like this mean so much to parents
For moms, seeing a toddler completely absorbed in play—especially quiet, independent play—feels like striking gold. Research from the American Academy of Pediatrics shows that unstructured playtime builds focus, problem-solving skills, and creativity in young kids. It's also a reminder that sometimes the simplest 'toys' are the ones that spark the most joy (and give us a few precious minutes to sip our coffee).
Lavender may think she just found a fun way to play with her stacking rings, but what she really showed all of us is the power of imagination and the incredible patience of a family dog.

Oscar Isaac Teases MOON KNIGHT's Future in the MCU: 'Maybe We'll See Him in a Movie' — GeekTyrant

It's been a while since we last saw Moon Knight wreaking havoc in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and fans have been waiting for any hint of what's next for Marc Spector and his wild crew of personalities. While a second season of the Disney+ series hasn't been officially greenlit, Oscar Isaac recently shared a cryptic but hopeful update that suggests we haven't seen the last of the Fist of Khonshu. During a fan convention appearance, Isaac was asked directly about a possible second season of Moon Knight , and he offered this short but intriguing reply: 'We'll see, maybe one day, or in a movie we'll see him [return].' That line's enough to keep the speculation train chugging along, especially since this isn't the first time Isaac has dropped vague teases. Back in 2022, shortly after the show wrapped its first season, Isaac was seen in a TikTok video alongside executive producer and director Mohammed Diab in Cairo. When Diab's niece asked about a second season, Isaac replied: 'Why else would we be in Cairo?' Naturally, fans assumed that meant season two was a done deal. Fast-forward to now, and things remain... complicated. According to Brad Winderbaum, head of Marvel Television, the studio's priorities have shifted when it comes to Disney+ series. He previously said: 'So I think Marvel Television has happened in waves, and I think Moon Knight happened in a wave of shows that were going to establish characters that would tie-in to the future. And moving forward, our priorities have shifted. We're making shows as shows that can exist as annual releases, more like television.' That's not a total shutdown, though. Winderbaum also confirmed, 'There are plans for Moon Knight down the road.' While he didn't spill any specific details, it lines up with rumors that the character could return in upcoming projects like Avengers: Secret Wars or the highly-anticipated Midnight Sons film. The Moon Knight Season 1 finale left things wide open. Not only did Marc and Steven finally reach some kind of peace, but we also met Jake Lockley, the third, and most brutal, persona. He and Khonshu eliminated Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke), but the ending hinted at much darker territory ahead. Whether it's on the small screen or the big one, Moon Knight 's story clearly isn't over, and with Isaac still game to put on the white suit again, fans just might get their wish. Are you excited to see Moon Knight return? Would you prefer another season or a full-blown cinematic debut?

Golden Retriever Digs Hole in Backyard, Owners Unprepared for His Reaction

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A puppy's nonchalant reaction to digging up the entire backyard has left internet viewers in hysterics. The owner, who uses the social-media tag @ from Staffordshire, in the U.K., shared footage of the destroyed garden before panning to the mischievous golden retriever, lying flat on his back asleep. The video has since garnered over 44,500 likes and almost 300,000 views. "My puppy after digging a giant hole and ruining the garden," the poster wrote as the text overlaying the clip of the mess. "All in a days work for Bear," they captioned the post. The video shows grass and dirt dug up and scattered, while Bear rests inside, blissfully unaware of the extent of the upheaval. The owner added that he was only at it from 10 to 10:05 a.m., highlighting his destructive digging capabilities. U.K. shelter Battersea Dogs & Cats Home says that digging is a normal behavior for dogs, but it can quickly become a nuisance in the garden. They recommend ensuring your pup gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to curb the habit. Providing toys, setting aside a specific digging area, and rewarding good behavior can also help redirect their energy. Golden retrievers, in particular, are known for their playful and inquisitive nature, which can make them prone to digging. Wag! experts say that retrievers may dig out of boredom, to seek comfort, or even as a way of exploring scents and sounds underground. For some, the behavior is simply an instinctive outlet for their high energy. Stock image: A golden retriever puppy digs in the dirt. Stock image: A golden retriever puppy digs in the dirt. Kinek00/iStock / Getty Images Plus TikTok users were quick to flood the comments with laughter and solidarity over Bear's antics. "I think that hole dug itself and the puppy is innocent," posted one user. "Why are they like this hahaha?" asked Marie. "I have one who has been quietly digging a grave. It's in a shady corner behind stuff and I hadn't noticed until the debris was flicked far enough to be seen. Enormous," commented Daf. "How respectful of him to not bring any mud in house though," added another user. "Surprisingly clean afterward … Good boy," added Nic. "He feels so guilty he fell into a coma," wrote one viewer. "That was a hard days work!!" posted another user. Newsweek reached out to @ for comment via TikTok. We could not verify the details of the case.
