There's a new bar coming to Abu Dhabi on the iconic Yas Marina
Bar du Port, the glamorous Riviera-inspired brand that's already a hit in Dubai, Beirut, Doha, Byblos and Cairo, is finally making its way to the capital – and it's dropping anchor at Yas Marina before the end of the year.
The new Bar du Port will take over the current Iris space, marking the end of an era for one of Abu Dhabi's most recognisable nightlife venues.
But it's not goodbye – Iris has promised fresh plans on the horizon. For now, the waterfront spot is getting a full Bar du Port makeover, complete with laid-back Riviera flair, stylish interiors and an international crowd.
What to expect
Since its debut in Beirut nine years ago, Bar du Port has built a reputation for 'a little luxury, a lot of fun.' Think long lunches that flow seamlessly into lively evenings, Mediterranean-inspired menus and DJ-fuelled nights that keep the energy going until late.
With Yas Marina already buzzing with entertainment and dining options, this addition feels like a natural fit – and a seriously stylish one at that.
Set to launch in Q4 2025, Bar du Port is expected to open just in time for the busy race season. That means come F1 weekend, it could very well be one of the hottest tables – and dancefloors – in town.
This is one we'll be watching closely. Chic, cosmopolitan and perfect for Abu Dhabi's evolving nightlife scene, Bar du Port looks set to become the city's new go-to for sundowners, dinner dates and late-night fun.
Consider this your warning: Yas Marina nights are about to get très, très chic.
