4th teen identified in deadly Cleveland crash
CLEVELAND (WJW) — The fourth victim of a deadly car crash in Cleveland has been identified.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office announced Thursday that 19-year-old Caurie Williams was killed in the crash early Wednesday morning.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office identified the three other victims as 14-year-old Kalise McGee, 14-year-old Tamera Davis of Cleveland, and 18-year-old Eddy Deandre Bonner of Cleveland.
According to witnesses, the car was racing down West 106th Street around 12:30 a.m. before the crash.
Investigators say the car was moving at an 'excessive speed' when it went off the road and hit two trees.

The impact was so great that the car shattered into pieces.
Three of the teens were ejected. The driver was not, police say. All four teens were pronounced dead at the scene.
'This is an absolute tragedy to have four young people killed in this type of tragic accident,' Cleveland Police Chief Dorothy Todd said at a Wednesday media briefing.

The teens were in a stolen Hyundai Sonata, according to police. The vehicle had been reported stolen from a home on Wichita Drive on February 27.
The car's black box, if intact, may help investigators determine what caused the crash.

(WJW) – A New York man faces charges after a fiery boat crash in the Bronx left nearly two dozen people injured over the weekend. According to the New York City Fire Department, rescuers responded to a boat fire in the Long Island Sound around 8 p.m. Saturday evening after reports that multiple people were in the water. 2 found guilty in 10-year-old girl's Fourth of July shooting death in Cleveland
[Attached video: Previous FOX 8 coverage] CLEVELAND (WJW) — It's been nearly one year since a 10-year-old girl was shot and killed while celebrating the Fourth of July holiday at a family gathering in Cleveland. Wednesday, two men charged in her death, Juwone Deaver and Jemerious Davis, were both found guilty of murder. Young mother killed in shooting at Cleveland Metroparks Mill Creek Falls On the evening of July 4, 2024, friends and family had gathered at a home at West 125th Street and Triskett Road. As FOX 8 News has previously reported, 10-year-old Gracie Griffin was standing outside the residence along with Deaver, Davis and Katie McKnight. According to Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O'Malley, a vehicle with four people inside drove to the house for the party. The vehicle drove past the house, turned around and pulled in front of the home. 'Deaver and Davis then opened fire shooting multiple times with a .45 caliber firearm and an AK-style firearm at the vehicle,' a Wednesday news release from O'Malley's office stated. Gracie Griffin was struck in the head during the shooting and pronounced dead at the hospital. Investigators determined that no shots were fired from the vehicle. There was 'only evidence of outgoing fire from the residence.' Retired Cleveland police officer killed in fire 'An innocent 10-year-old girl lost her life because too many guns are finding their way into the hands of stupid people,' O'Malley was quoted in the news release. 'While this verdict does not bring back Gracie, it is a significant step in justice for her. My thoughts and prayers remain with her family.' Woman allegedly caught going 95 mph on I-91 with 1-year-old in car
A woman was arrested when state troopers found that she allegedly went nearly 100 mph on Interstate 91 on Monday with a 1-year-old in the car. Troopers received multiple 911 calls just after 11 p.m. reporting that a silver Hyundai Sonata was being driven erratically on I-91 South in the area of Exit 32, according to Connecticut State Police. A trooper stopped in the shoulder near Exit 27 and spotted the Hyundai shortly thereafter. The trooper followed the vehicle and allegedly clocked its speed at 95 mph in a 65 mph zone, state police said. The driver pulled over when prompted to do so near Exit 22 in Rocky Hill and was identified as 24-year-old Nahgee Baldwin of New Haven, according to state police. Troopers during the stop noticed a 1-year-old in the rear of the vehicle. State police said they also found that Baldwin did not have a valid license, and that the Hyundai was unregistered and uninsured. Baldwin was charged with reckless driving, first-degree reckless endangerment, improper use of registration plate, risk of injury to a minor, operating a motor vehicle without minimum insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating without a license. She was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in New Britain Superior Court on June 24.
