Arambagh, Usman Club, Soul Tigers, and Karachi Colts qualified for the semifinals of 8th Commissioner Karachi Cup Basketball Tournament which is in full swing at the International Abdul Nasir Basketball Court, Arambagh.
The tournament is being held under the permission of KBBA.
In the Boys' Event, Soul Tigers defeated Usman Club 36-30 while Karachi Colts comfortably beat Eagle Club 32-18.
In the girls event, six matches were held on the first day.
BSS Gulshan defeated Arambagh Club 14-6 while BSS North Nazimabad defeated Government Degree Girls College, Lines Area, 18-3.
Indus Academy defeated BSS Gulshan Campus 17-5 while BSS North Nazimabad defeated SJA Team 18-9.
Indus Academy also beat Arambagh Club 26-10 while SJAS defeated Govt Degree Girls College, Lines Area, 17-10.
Players who showcased exceptional performance included Zahra Mohsin, Nosheen Haris, Sana, Manahil Khan, Ayra Naveed, Alisha Khan, Mahama, Zoya, Hina Memon, Ariba Patni, Aruba Siddiqui, Yamna Tahir, Amna Ashraf, Fabeeha Tariq, and Tayyaba.
The girls' matches were inaugurated by Director Sports Commissioner Karachi, Ghulam Muhammad Khan, in the presence of Engineer Zulfiqar Ahmed, FIA's Rana Sanaullah, and other dignitaries.
Meanwhile, Metro Pakistan donated basketball kits to Arambagh Club, and Commissioner Karachi Syed Hasan Naqvi donated complete kits to three clubs.

In the boys' event, Karachi District South secured a spot in the final by defeating Karachi District East 66-45. Key performances from the winning team included Haji Muhammad Zaid Ashraf, who scored 22 points with five three-pointers, Nabeel Ahmed with 20 points (four three-pointers), and Haris Shahid with 15 points. For the runner-up team, Hamza Khan scored 16 points, Abdul Rehman added 11 points, and Shahmeer Khan contributed 10 points. Before the matches, Assistant Commissioner Malir, Khalid Maroof was introduced to the players. Also present on the occasion were Ghulam Muhammad Khan, Tariq Hussain and other distinguished guests. Earlier, on Monday in the final league match of the boys' category, Karachi South Green secured a thrilling victory against Karachi West, winning 73-64 in a high-scoring game. Key performances from the winning team included Hassan Ali, who scored 25 points with five three-pointers, Daniyal Khan Marwat with 20 points, and Muhammad Abdullah Khan with 16 points. For the runner-up team, Razin Khan delivered an outstanding 30 points with six three-pointers, while Yusha scored 15 points, and Hadi Hassan added 14 points. In the girls' quarter-finals, Aram Bagh defeated KMA College White 8-6 in the third quarter-final, while Bahria Club Green overcame KMA College Green 6-3 in the fourth quarter-final. Outstanding performances were delivered by Tayyiba, Aiza, Jaweria, Kanwal, Fiza, and Mahwish.

The Kashmir Day Pakistan Rangers Cup girls & boys basketball tournament commenced here on Thursday in a colorful ceremony at the International Abdul Nasir Court, Aram Bagh. The tournament was inaugurated by Lieutenant Colonel Amanullah Faiz, Wing Commander of Pak Rangers 31m wing, Abdullah Shah Ghazi Sector. On the first day, five girls' matches were played. In the first two matches, Dow Club beat Aram Bagh Club 12-9 while Bahria Club White beat Soul Club 9-5. In the remaining matches, Government Degree College Lines Area outplayed Usman Girls Club 8-6 while Government Girls College Lines Area overcame National Club 13-10. In the last match of the day, Karachi Colts won against Nishtar Club by 7-5. Players who put up exceptional show included Afghanan, Hoorain, Aniqah Khan, Sarah Ahmed, Tayyiba, Dua Batool, Anita, Ayesha, Fabia Tariq, Manahil Khan, Laiba, Raheema Khan, Alisha Saleem, and Afza Ali. The event was also attended by Director of Sports Commissioner Karachi, Ghulam Muhammad Khan, DSO South Fareed Ali, business leader Asif Gulfaam, MCB VP Muhammad Haider Khan and SOA's Khalid Rahmani. The tournament is being supported by Engineering Solutions and Aram Bagh Market Alliance Association. The technical officials and referees for these matches were Nusrat Afzal, Zaeema Khatoon, Zahid Malik, Muhammad Ashraf, Amir Sharif, and Muhammad Usman.

Bahria Supers and Aram Bagh Club teams stormed into the final of the 8th Commissioner Karachi Cup Boys' Basketball Tournament at the *International Abdul Nasser Basketball Court on Wednesday night In the first semi-final, the young and emerging players of Bahria Super, despite trailing by eight points, staged a thrilling comeback to beat Soul Tigers Club 40-39. For the winning team, Hamza Pasha scored 16 points, Tayyab Ahmed Raza 19, and Nabeel Ahmed 7. On the runner-up side, Tayyab Jadoon scored 14 points, Abdul Basit 10, Haris Shahid 10, Ahmed Raza 9, and Nabeel 7 points. In the *second semi-final, Aram Bagh Club edged out Usman Club with a narrow 61-58 victory. Star player Ali Chanzeb led the team with 19 points, Hassan Ali contributed 15, and Muhammad Abdullah scored 10 points. On the runner-up side, Hamza Khwaja scored 20 points, including five three-pointers, Saleh Muhammad added 13, and Usman Khwaja scored 11 points. The tournament is being held with the approval of the Karachi Basketball Association (KBA). The matches were officiated by referees and technical officials including Zahid Malik, Muhammad Ashraf, Aamir Sharif, Zaima Khatoon, Naeem Ahmed, and Zafar Iqbal. Before the start of the matches, TMC President Noor Hassan Jokhio was introduced to the players as the chief guest.
