
Skywards Everyday joins EmCan to boost UAE rewards
Skywards Everyday, an app that allows members to earn Skywards Miles daily, has partnered with EmCan, Emarat's loyalty program, to introduce a two-way points conversion system.
Members can convert Skywards Miles into EmCoins and vice versa, enhancing the loyalty program's value.
The agreement was signed by Dr Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President Emirates Skywards and Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Chief Retail Officer and Senior Vice President of Marketing at Emarat; in the presence of Adnan Kazim, Emirates' Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer and Ali Al Shamsi, CEO of Emarat.
Khedher said: We're pleased to announce our first Skywards Everyday points conversion partner – EmCan by Emarat, a pioneering energy provider in the UAE. Our members can now convert EmCoins earned from purchases made at Emarat service stations into Skywards Miles; and convert Skywards Miles into EmCoins to unlock a new range of rewards across fuel, travel and lifestyle.'
Al Falasi said: "At Emarat, we're committed to enhancing our customers' experiences by offering greater value and flexibility. Emarat, Oman Transport partner for fuel-efficient trucks

Emirates Skywards introduces classic rewards on flydubai
Emirates Skywards has introduced Classic Rewards for members to redeem Skywards Miles for full flight tickets on all flydubai flights, starting from 5,000 Miles. This expansion follows the partnership between Emirates and flydubai since 2018, offering customers one loyalty currency and benefits. The agreement was signed in the presence of Emirates Group Chairman and Chairman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and senior executives from both airlines. Classic Rewards allow members to redeem Miles for a full flight ticket and enjoy the flexibility of paying for a ticket with a combination of Skywards Miles and cash. Dr Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President Emirates Skywards, said: 'We're very pleased to announce this exciting enhancement to our loyalty programme with flydubai. Emirates wins four Business Traveller Mideast awards
Emirates won four awards at the Business Traveller Middle East 2025 awards, including 'Best Airline Worldwide' for the 12th year in a row, as well as 'Best First Class', 'Best Premium Economy Class', and 'Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East'. Adil Al Ghaith, Senior Vice President Commercial Operations, Centre, and Dr Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President, Skywards, received the awards on Emirates' behalf. The awards honour excellence across the business travel ecosystem, underpinned by a transparent public voting process to recognise top-level work and innovations helping to shape the future of the travel industry. The wins represent the airline's continuous investment to evolve what is already an exceptional experience onboard and on the ground across all classes. Since 2022, Emirates' retrofit programme, which will see 219 aircraft completely receive a nose-to-tail refresh has picked up its momentum, and today, 51 aircraft have been fully upgraded. The airline also took delivery of its first A350, equipped with its next generation products and latest technologies. Existing upgraded aircraft and new A350s continue to be deployed to new cities, offering customers more opportunities to enjoy a seamless and consistent experience, whether they are travelling to or through Dubai.
