In November 2024, co-founders Sam Flerentsev and Jenya Makeevva opened Nahate. This family-run fine dining restaurant in Dubai, with a cocktail bar, nightclub and private membership club, may be unrivaled in its opulence.
Dubai is one of the top ten most visited cities in the world, attracting both leisure and business international travelers from across the globe. Known for its striking architecture, significant role in trade and finance, and rich cultural heritage, the city's reputation for luxury and extravagance has also made it a major draw for tourists.
Nahate motto: More Than Home
Nahate raises the bar in terms of sophisticated gourmet dining and captivating entertainment venues. Deriving its name from the Russian word that means 'home,' this joyful venue was created as a love letter by the founders, an expression of their shared journey.
Spanning the entire third floor of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), this sanctuary features the lavish restaurant, two membership-only spaces, and the world's first Jacob & Co. Cigar Lounge.
From Thursday to Saturday, the space transforms into a vibrant nightspot with entertainment with views of the Dubai skyline. .

The walls are hand-painted in gold leaf. The jungle-themed decor in the dining room has spiritual totems and hand-drawn animal artwork, including tigers and leopards, that tell a story. Custom-made fabrics with detailed embroidery and bespoke furnishings are used throughout.
The co-creators call their design approach 'jungle meets jewel box,' hoping guests experience the ambiance of spending time with friends at a luxury private estate.
In the Red Room, a custom Baccarat chandelier descends over a signature Chef's Table, making it a sculptural element in the private dining room.
It seats 16 guests who are surrounded by walls covered in creamy, neutral tones of faux suede (which also helps dampen the sound) with rich red acceents.

In terms of opulence and exclusivity, NAHATE has raised the bar both figuratively and literally.
Earlier this month, it auctioned what has been called the most expensive cocktail in the world for 37,500€ ($41,160 USD).
The cocktail, crafted and served by celebrated bartender Salvatore 'The Maestro' Calabrese, was made with a custom blend of PATRÓN tequila that combined three exceptional aged tequilas with now-extinct Kina Lillet from 1950 and Angostura Bitters from the 1930s.
Celebrating the 260th anniversary of Baccarat, the drink was served in two rare 1937 Baccarat crystal glasses created for the 1937 International Exhibition of Arts and Techniques in Modern Life in Paris. The winning bidder was able to take home the exclusive ingredients and the Baccarat glassware.

Although the Nahate-Patron-Baccarat auction was a one-time pop-up event, it's emblematic of the spirited dining, handcrafted cocktails, and unique entertainment guests can expect at Nahate Dubai.

Circle stock gains 7%, extends gains for third day in a row since blockbuster IPO

Circle's (CRCL) stock surged for a third day in a row on Monday following its blockbuster IPO last week. Shares of the stablecoin issuer jumped as much as 15% before paring gains to close at $115 per share, a premium of 270% above its debut IPO price of $31. The surge builds on gains from the previous two trading days, including an intraday surge of over 200% last Thursday shortly after the company's highly anticipated market debut. Circle's IPO success comes amid bullish momentum in the crypto space, including the Trump administration's push for a friendly framework for cryptocurrencies, the president's business involvement in the space, and legislation in Congress that would regulate stablecoins. "Having a crypto-friendly administration, the legislation ... plus the fact that larger financial institutions are considering launching their own coins, these are all tailwinds and votes of confidence in the stablecoin market," EquityZen head of market insight Brianne Lynch told Yahoo Finance last Thursday. Circle had previously attempted to go public via a SPAC deal in 2021 but ultimately shelved the plan a year later. Circle is the issuer of the stablecoin USDC (USDC-USD), which is backed by the dollar. The company had $60 billion worth of the token in circulation at the end of the first quarter. Circle is the second-largest stablecoin issuer on the market, trailing only Tether, which has nearly $150 billion in circulation. The company generates the bulk of its revenue through "reserve income" — profits earned from the cash reserves backing the USDC stablecoins. Publicly traded companies have been increasing their exposure to digital assets, with some shifting their strategies to emulate Strategy's (MSTR) bitcoin treasury model. Bitcoin (BTC-USD) recently surged to all-time highs above $110,000. On Monday, bitcoin traded near $107,000 per token.
