Apple brand loyalty remains strong in the United States despite small decline

GSM Arena22-05-2025

Recent data on brand loyalty in the United States showed that 89% of Apple users purchased another iPhone when upgrading. Although this share has decreased by five percentage points since 2023, such a loyalty rate remains unmatched in the smartphone industry.
For comparison, Samsung loyalty increased by 8pp, rising from 68% to 76% between 2021 and 2025. However, the report lacks specific data such as sample size or margin of error.
According to CIRP (Consumer Intelligence Research Partners), owner loyalty for Apple and Samsung is not comparable in market terms, as fans of the Korean brand are considerably fewer.
Analysts also pointed out that while Apple easily retains users in its ecosystem, Android diversity poses a significant challenge for Samsung to achieve a higher rate.
This report only includes users in the United States, where the iPhone leads with a 52% market share. Samsung follows in second place with just 24%. Motorola comes in third with a 12% market share.

The top-of-the-line Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have never been this cheap with a two-year warranty

Are you waiting for Samsung to release the Galaxy Buds 4 or Galaxy Buds 4 Pro soon? That may or may not happen this year, as the rumor mill has been unusually quiet in regard to such products, but either way, you should strongly consider going with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro right now. That's because the super-premium 2024-released earbuds are currently sold at a cool $65 discount by Amazon. The e-commerce giant is handling this amazing new deal itself, mind you, which means that you'll be getting an extended Amazon-exclusive two-year warranty with your purchase of silver or white-coated Galaxy Buds 3 Pro in brand-new condition. True Wireless Earbuds with Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation, Galaxy AI, Sound Optimization, Adaptive Equalizer, Real-Time Interpreter, Intuitive Touch Control, 360 Audio, Bluetooth 5.4 Connectivity, IP57 Water and Dust Resistance, Up to 6 Hours of Uninterrupted Listening Time, 26 Hours of Battery Life with Case, Two Color Options, US Version, Two-Year Warranty Included Buy at Amazon Normally priced at $249.99, Samsung's best high-end AirPods alternative to date is... still not what you'd call conventionally affordable. But that's because its features and capabilities are not exactly conventional either, including everything from world-class active noise cancellation to Galaxy AI-powered real-time translations, 360 Audio technology, and a battery life of 6 hours (not counting the charging case that can take that number all the way up to 26 hours while keeping ANC enabled at all times). Our comprehensive Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro review from last year, mind you, only had words of praise for all those ultra-advanced technologies and characteristics, also highlighting the revised design as a major upgrade over past Galaxy Buds models. Made to turn heads while feeling incredibly comfortable in the ear during your lengthiest music listening sessions, these bad boys are more affordable than ever before with a two-year warranty included, making Samsung's Galaxy Buds 4 Pro release (whenever it might take place) seem almost completely irrelevant.

Versatile Galaxy Tab S10+ becomes a hot option for users looking to upgrade

The beautiful thing about high-end tablets is that they can become your go-to device for everything. For instance, each of the best tablets in 2025 can be used for serious tasks like writing documents and conducting research, as well as for not-so-serious things like binge-watching all eight seasons of Game of Thrones or playing Genshin Impact until the battery dies.A top-tier tablet can even replace your laptop if you attach a keyboard, making it a great investment overall if you want a versatile device that will serve you well for years to come. $150 off (15%) The 256GB Galaxy Tab S10+ is discounted by $150 on Amazon and is now selling for just under $850. Amazon is selling the 256GB Google Pixel Tablet (sans dock) at its lowest ever price again

If you're looking for the best Android tablet money can buy in 2025, the Pixel Tablet is... probably not it. But if you think you can settle for a decent device with a large but not uncomfortable screen, respectable processing power, excellent sound, and above all, stellar software support, this might be the moment to pull the trigger. That's because Amazon is slashing a whopping 140 bucks off the Google-made slate in a 256GB storage configuration and a single Porcelain color option at the time of this writing. If the hefty new discount happens to feel familiar, you should know that retailers like Amazon and Best Buy, as well as Google itself, have offered it a couple of times before. Wi-Fi Only, 256GB Storage, 8GB RAM, Google Tensor G2 Processor, Android 13, 10.95-Inch IPS LCD Screen with 2560 x 1600 Pixel Resolution, 8MP Rear-Facing Camera, 8MP Front Camera, 7,020mAh Battery with 15W Charging Capabilities, Porcelain Color, No Speaker Dock Included Buy at Amazon But the last time was around two months ago, and at least to my knowledge, no Pixel Tablet variant has been marked down more steeply than this at any point since the product made its commercial debut back in the summer of 2023. That means that you're looking at a very hard-to-turn-down promotion that may never return, as sooner or later, Google will retire this device... and unfortunately probably not roll out a sequel. Initially released alongside a speaker dock that clearly not everyone appreciated, the Pixel Tablet is deeply discounted here all alone. Still, you should be satisfied by this thing's productivity and entertainment prowess, especially for that price. Can you do better in the sub-$400 segment? Our not-very-flattering in-depth Pixel Tablet review from a couple of years ago certainly seems to suggest so, especially if you look at all those amazing mid-rangers Lenovo often sells for around $300... or even less. But Lenovo has nothing on Google in terms of software updates, so if you plan to use your tablet for more than a couple of years, this may well be your best choice... if you hurry. And yes, in case you're wondering, the 128GB variant (with or without a bundled dock) is also discounted right now, just not as steeply, making the 256 gig model an undeniably better "investment."
