
A21 Pembury: Man dies after exiting vehicle on dual carriageway
A man has died after he exited his vehicle on a dual carriageway and was struck by a car and a van, Kent Police has said.Officers were called to the coastbound carriageway of the A21, between the A228 for Pembury and the B2160 for Matfield, just after 18:00 GMT on Saturday.The man, aged in his 40s, had been driving a white Isuzu pickup truck and trailer when his vehicle struck the central reservation a short distance away, the force said.After he left his truck, he was struck by a grey Vauxhall Vivaro and a grey Skoda Kodiaq, it added.
Kent Police said medical crews attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed.Officers have appealed for witnesses and relevant dashcam footage to contact the force.

COPS have launched an urgent hunt for a teenager who went missing over the weekend. Charlie McDonald was last seen in Milton Regis, Kent at around 2pm on Sunday. The 16-year-old from Sittingbourne is described as white, around 5ft 8in tall and of slim build, with short light brown hair. He is believed to be wearing a blue top, black trousers, black trainers and he may also have a red hooded top. He has links to Ashford as well as to Greenwich, Woolwich and Lewisham, cops said. Kent Police have urged anyone with information about the lad's whereabouts to come forward as they are "concerned for Charlie's welfare".
