Dylan Marlowe REVEALS why he was kicked out of Wisconsin concert; says, ‘a few heated words were exchanged'

Time of India23-07-2025
Country music fans were left shocked over the weekend when singer Dylan Marlowe was suddenly escorted out of Country Jam in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The unexpected moment, caught on camera, went viral across social media, leaving people asking: what really happened?
According to Parade, the country artist was removed by security shortly after his own performance, raising eyebrows since artists are usually given backstage freedom.
Now, Dylan Marlowe has spoken out and explained his side of the story in a four-minute video that's quickly making the rounds online.

What happened at the festival?
The surprising moment unfolded just minutes after Marlowe had finished his set at the festival. As fellow country singer Jake Owen performed on stage, Marlowe was seen being grabbed by security guards and led away from the grounds. The video, which quickly went viral, even captured Jake Owen noticing the incident mid-performance.
With surprise in his voice, he said, 'That's Dylan Marlowe.' That short line, said in front of thousands of fans, only made the situation more puzzling.
Marlowe speaks out
On Sunday, Dylan Marlowe addressed the incident himself. He posted a four-minute video on TikTok to explain exactly what led to him being removed, despite having official passes. He began by sharing that he and a friend were watching Jake Owen's set from a front-of-house tower, a common area for those involved in the show.
They were wearing proper wristbands and credentials, given to them by their team.
Marlowe explained, 'We were like, 'Hey. We have All Access wristbands given to our tour manager for us to wear to be anywhere we want to be.'' However, a security guard apparently wasn't satisfied with that answer. Marlowe said the guard told them, 'No. I don't care. So and so said you can't be up here.'
Moving on – But trouble returns
Trying to avoid a scene, Marlowe and his friend left the area and moved to another spot.
But the problem didn't stop there. The same security guard approached them again, and this time, police officers were with him. According to Marlowe, the officers said, 'This security is our boss and he's telling us to get y'all out of here.' That's when things took a turn.
A heated exchange
In his video, Marlowe admitted that while things got tense, he wasn't proud of how he reacted, 'I'm not going to paint it like I was this perfectly great dude who wasn't rude back to him after he was rude to me,' Marlowe said honestly. 'There were definitely a few heated words exchanged with that guy, nothing crazy, but I feel like he was rude to me and I was rude back to him, and I shouldn't have been.'
In the end, Marlowe made it clear that while he didn't handle everything perfectly, he felt unfairly treated, and just wanted to enjoy the rest of the festival like anyone else.

Males have strikingly tall dorsal fins—sometimes reaching nearly 2 meters—which make them easy to spot in the water. Despite their size, orcas are swift and agile swimmers, effortlessly covering vast distances across the open ocean. Slow and steady pace of reproduction: Despite their fearsome reputation, orcas take a surprisingly patient approach to reproduction. Females typically begin giving birth in their early teens, but each pregnancy lasts an astonishing 17 months — one of the longest gestation periods among marine animals. Migratory in nature: Orcas are truly global travelers, inhabiting oceans from icy polar waters to warm tropical seas. Taylor Swift announces 12th studio album 'The Life of a Showgirl', special edition also likely to release

A special limited vinyl edition of the album will be released in 'Portofino orange glitter,' according to a pre-order page on her site. A special cassette edition is also available for pre-order. Look what you made her do — Taylor Swift has announced her 12th studio album, 'The Life of a Showgirl.' Swift announced the album on her website shortly after a countdown timer expired at 12:12 a.m. Tuesday. No release date was announced, but her site said vinyl editions of the album would ship before Oct. 13. Fans have long theorized that Swift's 12th album would soon arrive. On Monday, Taylor Nation — an official branch of the pop superstar's marketing team — posted a TikTok slide show of 12 images with the caption 'Thinking about when she said 'See you next era…'' Swift is seen wearing orange in every image. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD A special limited vinyl edition of the album will be released in 'Portofino orange glitter,' according to a pre-order page on her site. A special cassette edition is also available for pre-order. Sensing a pattern, eagle-eyed fans noticed that 12 minutes earlier, the popular 'New Heights' podcast posted a tease for Wednesday. The show, hosted by Swift's boyfriend and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce alongside his brother, former Eagles center Jason Kelce, posted an orange image on social media with a mysterious silhouette, many believing to be Swift. The podcast announced early early Tuesday that Swift would would appear on 'New Heights' and a teaser video posted about her appearance showed her pulling the album from a briefcase. The actual album artwork, just as it is on her website, is blurred. 'The Life of a Showgirl' follows last year's 'The Tortured Poets Department,' announced during the 2024 Grammys and released during her record-breaking tour, which raked in over $2.2 billion across two years and five continents, making it the highest-grossing tour of all time. The album is also her first release since Swift regained control over her entire body of work. In May, that pop star said she purchased her catalog of recordings — originally released through Big Machine Records — from their most recent owner, the private equity firm Shamrock Capital. She did not disclose the amount. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD In recent years, Swift has been rerecording and releasing her first six albums in an attempt to regain control of her music. The project was instigated by Hybe America CEO Scooter Braun's purchase and sale of her early catalog and represents Swift's effort to control her own songs and how they're used. Previous 'Taylor's Version' releases have been more than conventional re-recordings, arriving with new 'from the vault' music, Easter eggs and visuals that deepen understanding of her work. So far, there have been four rerecorded albums, beginning with 'Fearless (Taylor's Version)' and 'Red (Taylor's Version)' in 2021. All four have been massive commercial and cultural successes, each one debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Swift's last rerecording, '1989 (Taylor's Version),' arrived in October 2023, just four months after the release of 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version).' That was the same year Swift claimed the record for the woman with the most No. 1 albums in history.
