Leeds ‘agree deal to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin on free transfer and set for medical' two months after Everton exit
The former England forward, 28, is set to undergo a medical ahead of his move to Elland Road.

Everton did offer Calvert-Lewin a new contract and negotiations continued into June.
But following nine years at Goodison Park, the Toffees' No9 opted to move on.
According to The Athletic, Calvert-Lewin's Leeds medical will take place "imminently" after a deal was struck in principle.
Incredibly, the forward could make his Elland Road debut against Everton on Monday night.
Calvert-Lewin signed for the Toffees from Sheffield United in 2016.
The Yorkshireman went on to play 273 times for Everton, scoring 71 goals.
Calvert-Lewin also earned international recognition while at Goodison, playing 11 times for England and scoring four goals.
The towering forward featured for the Three Lions at Euro 2020.
Announcing his Toffees departure in June, Calvert-Lewin wrote on Instagram: "This isn't something I chose lightly.
'Everton has been my home since I was 19-years-old. It's the place that saw potential in me, challenged me to grow, and shaped me both as a footballer and as a man.'

Old Trafford rocked as Mikel Arteta's runners-up headed to the rebuilding Red Devils in the most eye-catching fixture of the opening weekend. United looked far better than the side that finished 15th last season – their worst top-flight campaign since 1974 – yet Ruben Amorim's side fell to a 1-0 defeat as Riccardo Calafiori capitalised on Bayindir's early flap. Bayindir's error underlined concerns over the goalkeeping position at Old Trafford, where often unconvincing number one Andre Onana was absent as he works his way back from a hamstring injury. United are a work in progress but summer signings Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo looked sharp on their debuts, with Patrick Dorgu hitting a post with a lasered first-half effort. Arsenal keeper David Raya produced a string of important stops to keep the hosts at bay, with his man of the match of the display helping Arteta's side to victory. The atmosphere was as intense as United's start as they flew out the blocks in the summer sun, with Mbeumo getting an early attempt on goal as the hosts bossed play and the early possession. United's appeals for a foul fell on deaf ears as Arsenal scored their 31st Premier League goal from a corner since the start of the 2023-24 campaign – 11 more than any other team. The goalkeeper comfortably dealt with that attempt and another from distance, but he had to be at his best to get a fingertip on the Brazil international's low drive from an acute angle as half-time approached. Arsenal were solid but unspectacular when the second half got under way, with Arteta replacing ineffective debutant Viktor Gyokeres on the hour mark. The Sweden international had shone under Amorim at Sporting Lisbon and had previously been linked with a move to United, whose fans cheered his substitution. United's new frontman Benjamin Sesko was introduced to a huge roar shortly after, offering a tantalising first look at their rebuilt front three. Cunha continued confidently and Mbeumo was a handful, with an acrobatic attempt soon followed by a header that forced a full stretch save from Raya. Sesko nodded across the face of goal as the home side continued to knock on the door, but Arsenal dug deep and Rice saw a whipped free-kick deflect narrowly wide at the other end. United pushed until the end and Cunha saw a penalty claim ignored, but there was no leveller as Arteta's side started the season with a win as '1-0 to the Arsenal' echoed around the ground.

Ruben Amorim defends Altay Bayindir after Man Utd keeper blunder boosts Arsenal
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim defended goalkeeper Altay Bayindir after his blunder proved decisive in a 1-0 home defeat by Arsenal in their Premier League opener. Bayindir flapped at a 13th-minute corner under pressure from William Saliba, allowing Riccardo Calafiori to nod in at the far post. United were otherwise the better team as new signings Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo revitalised their attack, but they could not find a way to beat David Raya despite registering 22 shots on goal. That put the focus even more sharply on Bayindir, who started in place of the injured Andre Onana. 'You're allowed to do a lot of things in the corner, we need to do the same,' Amorim said when asked if he was disappointed with the goal. 'When you touch that way the goalkeeper he needs to use his hands to catch the ball, not push players, or he chooses to push players and let the ball past. 'It is the rules, it is allowed and we need to do the same thing. No, (I'm not saying he should have acted differently) I am saying you choose to push a player or to get the ball, he chose to get the ball but he didn't push so he cannot defend it. 'That is my feeling when I see the play but again, we need to do the same thing.' Last season Bayindir conceded directly from a Son Heung-min corner in a 4-3 Carabao Cup defeat at Tottenham, but Amorim rejected criticism of the Turkey international when asked if he had considered starting third-choice Tom Heaton against a team renowned for their threat from corners. 'He suffered a goal like this where? Against Tottenham? It was without VAR. With VAR it was a foul,' Amorim said. 'Then in the next game against Arsenal, who saved the penalty? Who saved the game? You don't remember the game but I remember the game and Altay was unbelievable in that game. I considered everything to put in one or another and I chose Altay… 'I am happy with the three goalkeepers.' Despite looking much the sharper of the two teams, United could not recover from that early setback as David Raya repelled the best that Cunha and Mbeumo could throw at him, while Patrick Dorgu hit the outside of a post. 'We were the better team but in the end we lost the game,' Amorim said. 'I'm really proud of the work we put on the field and that is important moving forward.' Arsenal took the points but in a poor performance littered with poor passes and sloppy touches, the only other things to take away was their ability to win on a bad day at the office. 'We did very well to take the set-piece and then there's the mistakes, some of them unnecessary, some of them unusual, but the way every single player reacted gave us an opportunity to win the game,' Mikel Arteta said. 'That gives you momentum and confidence, two very important things. Our standards weren't there to be fair, but we can still come away and find a way to win the game. The team has to find that resilience throughout the season for 10 months.'
