Saba Yemen29-06-2025
Moscow - Saba:
Dmitry Peskov, the official spokesperson for the Kremlin, stated on Sunday that Moscow hopes the dates for the third round of negotiations with Kyiv will be determined soon.
When asked whether any new meetings had been scheduled in the near future, Peskov replied, "No, they have not been scheduled yet. We are waiting for the third round of talks. We hope the date will be clarified soon."
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced last Friday that he had held discussions with the Russian and Ukrainian delegations, noting that the parties "have the willingness" to hold a third round of negotiations.
In an interview with the Turkish channel "Haber," Fidan added, "I communicated with the parties yesterday, and the implementation of the decisions from the second round—such as the exchange of prisoners and the bodies of fallen soldiers—is being finalized."
He continued, "If the promises made to each other are fulfilled, we see the parties' desire for a third round of talks. The Russian side has already stated this. We are ready to host the negotiations. The most important thing is to prevent the outbreak of conflict."
