There will be two more Creator Classics coming in 2025. Here's where and when
So you say you're into this Creator Classic thing?
Well, you're in luck, as there's two more scheduled during the 2025 PGA Tour season.
Wednesday saw the Creator Classic at TPC Sawgrass, the second event after the inaugural one last fall ahead of the Tour Championship. That event at East Lake Golf Club generated more than 2.7 million views on YouTube and was YouTube's No. 2 trending video after the competition, which engaged nearly 60 million golf fans across all social media platforms during a four-week period.
There are two more scheduled for the 2025 PGA Tour season.
The third installment of the Creator Classic, and second of the three in 2025, will be in conjunction with the Truist Championship (formally the Wells Fargo Championship), which is scheduled for May 8-11. The Truist is normally held at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte but that course is prepping to host the 2025 PGA Championship, so for 2025 only, the Truist and the third Creator Classic will be played at The Philadelphia Cricket Club.
The fourth Creator Classic will see a repeat visit to East Lake ahead of the 2025 Tour Championship.
Details on these two will be announced at a later date, according to the PGA Tour, including the field and the format.
Last December, the PGA Tour Creator Council was announced. That group consists of up to 10 top creators in the golf space.
'The Creator Council is about the Tour evolving,' said Andy Weitz, the PGA Tour's chief marketing & communications officer/investor relations, in December. 'It's clear that there is a new fan base, a next generation of fans that want to consume content and learn about golf in general through different channels in different ways. It just makes sense to connect from those who are doing it well, who are maybe doing it best and learn from them what we can do better and what we can do together.'

As Cameron Champ continues to push to see more Black golfers represented in both the youth and PGA Tour levels, his parents Jeff and Lisa Champ have witnessed their son's dedication on and off the course. Advertisement Back in 2022, Champ made Masters history alongside Tiger Woods and Harold Varner as the first black trio to play the major at Augusta National. Cameron launched the Mack Champ Invitational as part of his foundation's efforts to honor his late grandfather and have an event for "the game's best junior golfers of diverse backgrounds." The PGA Tour golfer understands it is going to take some time to see the results of the family's hard work. Cameron Champ plays his shot from the first fairway during the first round of the Grant Thornton Invitational at Tiburón Golf Matay-Imagn Images "It's going to take not just a village, but it's going to take the entirety of the Tour, those around the Tour and the entire golfing community to get things on a broader level," Cameron told The Augusta Chronicle's Gabriel Stovall during an April 2022, interview. "It's a matter of setting up programs to introduce kids to the game. And it has to be someone who looks like them. You're not gonna get some guy in a suit coming into those communities saying, 'Hey, you wanna play golf?'" Advertisement Cameron's dad Jeff has expressed admiration for seeing his son honor his grandfather. "My father (would be) proud, too,' Jeff explained to NBC News' Curtis Bunn during an April 8, 2021, interview. 'To honor my dad this way was beautiful.' Back in Sept. 2019, Cameron and his dad worked together on an event telling their story for Nike. "Back to where it all started for me!" Cameron noted in the Sept. 24, 2019, Instagram post. "Thank you @nike @nikegolf and @golfpass for coming out today to @foothillpar3 to showcase why this place is so special to me and my family. "Can't wait for everyone to see what we are putting together! Andrew Barth Feldman's Muppet*Vision 3D tribute is absolutely wonderful
Andrew Barth Feldman's Muppet*Vision 3D tribute is absolutely wonderful Since nothing lasts forever and the cruel specter of time claims all things sacred, Disney's Hollywood Studio will shut the doors to Muppet*Vision 3D after Saturday. After more than 30 years of "state-of-the-art" 3D effects and saluting all nations (but mostly America), Muppets maestro Jim Henson's last true masterwork will eventually be replaced with a Monsters, Inc. section of the park and plays its last show this weekend. While the attraction never got the consistent attention of, say, a roller coaster or a landmark dark ride, it's still one of the best experiences Disney Parks ever crafted. It's a testament to Henson's genius that it never lost its zeal in the decades since its opening, and there really wasn't ever anything quite like it to watch in a theater. Last year, I wrote that Muppet*Vision 3D is "a timeless piece of Disney history that should stand for as long as the theme park surrounding it stands, and closing it would feel completely antithetical to the way Disney treats its other classic attractions, with deep reverence and keen understanding of how awful it would be to snuff out that corner of irreplaceable Disney magic forever." Well, Disney Parks clearly didn't read that or, y'know, care, because the attraction is headed to the big theme park in the sky after Saturday's final shows. To help all of us cope with such a colossal loss, actor Andrew Barth Feldman crafted an absolutely brilliant tribute to the Muppets attraction that we know Kermit and the gang would be proud to watch. Seriously, this is just wonderful. Feldman teaming up with Defunctland's Kevin Perjurer to send off Muppet*Vision 3D with a hysterical bang is just the best way any of this could go We're going to miss Henson's great attraction like all get out, but we will fire this up whenever we need a smile... and the YouTube bootleg footage of the attraction itself, which you can watch below as many times as you'd like. RIP Muppet*Vision 3D. We will miss you, your cannon fire, your cranky old men in the balcony, your penguin symphony and your floating cream pies. Sweetums forever.
