Rasmus Hojlund breaks silence on talk of Man United exit after Inter Milan make further contact about a permanent move for struggling striker
Rasmus Hojlund has given an update on his future amid talk of a possible summer transfer to Inter Milan.
The Italian giants have made further contact with Red Devils about a permanent move for the misfiring striker.
The 22-year-old is under contract with United until June 2028 but his future at Old Trafford appears uncertain.
Hojlund cost United £64million plus a further £8m in potential add-ons when he arrived from Atalanta in August 2023.
However, he has struggled to live up to that price-tag with just four goals in 32 Premier League appearances last season.
Speaking after playing in Denmark's 2-1 win over Northern Ireland on Saturday night, he told TV 2 Sport: 'I have a contract until 2030, so I expect to play for Manchester United.
'I'm looking forward to going on a summer vacation, and then I'm fully dedicated to the project that's underway.
'I know I can't get much out of reading things. I know what the facts are, and that is that I have a contract with Manchester United until 2030.
'I expect to play there, so I'm just getting ready for some summer vacation and then hopefully a good pre-season.'

Live Portugal vs Spain live: Lineups and latest updates from Nations League final
6:45PM Nations League trophy up for grabs We are in Munich for the Nations League final and it is a battle of the Iberian Peninsula as Portugal take on Spain for the trophy. These sides have both lifted this trophy (Portugal in 2019 and Spain 2023) and whichever side comes out on top today will become the first side to win this tournament twice. Portugal earned their place in the final with a come-from-behind win over Germany last Wednesday. Florian Wirtz had given Germany the lead in Munich on Wedneday but goals from Francisco Conceicao and Cristiano Ronaldo turned the game around for Portugal as they ran out 2-1 winners. That winner from Ronaldo was his 137 th goal in 220 international caps and took him to 937 career goals. Spain meanwhile, who are the defending Nations League champions, were involved in an absolute thriller in Stuttgart on Thursday night. They beat France 5-4 in the semi-finals, having been 4-0 and 5-1 up. Today is the first time that 17-year-old Lamine Yamal, who is in contention for this year's Ballon d'Or, comes up against the five-time winner of that award Cristiano Ronaldo. 40-year-old Ronaldo is coming towards the end of his career but Yamal is very much at the start. But despite being just 17-years-old, he has already won the European Championship for Spain and two La Liga titles with Barcelona. Speaking ahead of tonight's final, Ronaldo was full of praise for the young Spaniard. 'This kid has been doing things really well at a club and national team that help him very much. It is a great atmosphere for him to show his quality. Let him grow, do not put him under pressure so we can enjoy a talent like this for many years. I would like to take pressure off him and leave him alone. He has got plenty of talent.' Yamal repaid the favour to the 40-year-old. 'He is a football legend. I, like all the players, have huge respect for Cristiano. This is the kind of game I want to play, to prove who I am.' Spain are unbeaten in their last ten Nations League matches outside of Spain, winning six and drawing four. Spain have definitely had the better of the head-to-heads; they have won 19 of the 42 meetings, with Portugal winning just six meetings. These sides last met in September 2022, when Spain won 1-0 in Portugal in the Nations League courtesy of Alvaro Morata's late winner. In the third/fourth play-off earlier today, France beat Germany 2-0 in Stuttgart. Kick-off from Munich is at 8pm.

Moment Chelsea FC star Marc Cucurella is caught 'using his phone behind the wheel' of his £140k Mercedes G-Wagon
This is the moment Chelsea's Marc Cucurella was apparently caught using his mobile phone while behind the wheel of his £140,000 Mercedes G-Wagon. The 26-year-old Spaniard was said to have been driving the wagon near Dorking in Surrey, when he was caught appearing to be sending a text message. The footage was taken by a British couple as they drove past the left-back at around 6pm on Tuesday, May 20. Eight days later Cucurella was in Chelsea's starting line-up in Wroclaw, Poland, as Enzo Maresca 's men beat Real Betis 4-1 in the Uefa Conference League final. The couple claimed they had noticed the car before realising the driver appeared to be using his phone on closer inspection. One said: 'We looked over to see who it was and I clocked that it was Chelsea's left back Marc Cucurella. 'We drove past him again and I doubled checked to make sure it was him... he was on his phone. 'My partner in the passenger seat was able to get a video and photos.' Cucurella has been a near permanent starter for Chelsea this season in the Premier League, after being part of the squad that beat England in the final of the Euros with Spain in July 2024. The passenger added: 'It was really dangerous and very irresponsible of him, first to be doing it at all.' Drivers caught using a mobile phone behind the wheel in the United Kingdom face being hit with a £200 fine and six points on their driving licence. Cucurella moved to west London from Brighton in a £60million deal in 2022. The Spain international struggled for consistency on the pitch, and later revealed that a number of circumstances away from the game also contributed to his dip in form, including the burglary of his family home. However, as Cucurella settled at Stamford Bridge, the defender became an increasingly vital presence in the set-ups of head coaches Mauricio Pochettino and Maresca. Cucurella also starred for Spain at last summer's European Championship, helping La Roja take him the trophy for the fourth time in the nation's history. He features alongside his wife Claudia Rodriguez in the second season of Amazon's Married To The Game. Cucurella and Rodriguez allowed cameras to follow their daily lives, with the impact of their son Mateo's autism on the family one of the emotional flashpoints of the programme. The reality series also sees Rodriguez open up on the impact of a burglary which the family suffered shortly after the move to the west London club. Cucurella and his family lost £62,000-worth of property in the break-in, including Louis Vuitton bags.

Portugal vs Spain - Nations League Final: Live score, team news and updates as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lamine Yamal face off for the first time
...they pull me back in! I don't know about you, but I was ready to draw the curtain on this season's footballing action after the Champions League final but the semi-final clashes in the Nations League in the week have whetted the appetite once again. Just over the week after PSG destroyed Inter Milan to claim their first European Cup, the Allianz Arena will play host to the final of this fledgling international competition, which always seems to threaten to become a big deal. Perhaps tonight's game between Spain and Portugal can really cement its legacy. La Roja are looking to claim their third major trophy in as many years after winning the 2023 edition of this tournament and the 2024 European Championship. Luis de la Fuente's side are the overwhelming favourites to prevail against their Iberian neighbours who have not managed to beat them since 2010. This Spain team look incapable of suffering defeat against any team in the world right now. That, of course, is in large part down to their boy wonder Lamine Yamal, who might actually leap to the front of the Ballon d'Or contenders with a starring role tonight - more of my thoughts on that later on. While the Spanish side is notable for their youth, Portugal are the golden oldies, led by their most golden and oldest oldie, Cristiano Ronaldo, who refuses to shift even an inch from centre stage. I have the feeling that Yamal might barge him off the stump altogether. The intriguing clash gets underway at 8pm but before that we'll be hear with all the updates, team news, manager quotes and fun bits we see in Munich.
