Israeli Air Force shared a video of one of its operations in Gaza, where "terrorist cell" was attacked and decimated.
Israeli Air Force on Saturday said that it struck over 100 'terror targets" across the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, in support of ground forces, as the fighting continues in the war-torn territory with no ceasefire in sight.
Among the targets attacked in the strikes, terrorist squads, combat tunnels, military buildings, anti-tank firing positions, and weapons storage facilities were struck, the Air Force said.
It also shared a video of the operations on X, showing a 'terrorist cell" getting decimated in the aerial attack. They said that the group of terrorists had set off an explosive device targeting the Israeli Defence Forces. After identifying the attackers, the Israeli aircraft carried out the strike and eliminated the terrorists.

Israeli Leaders Consider Long-Term Gaza Takeover, Says US Senator Lindsey Graham

US Senator Lindsey Graham has claimed that Israel is preparing to fully occupy Gaza, following a stalled peace process and failed negotiations with Hamas. Graham compared the prospective occupation to US control over Germany and Japan after World War II. He argued that no other solution would satisfy Israeli leadership, citing Israeli concerns about security and the ongoing conflict. Washington reportedly also doubts that negotiations can end the war with Hamas. The possibility of offering Hamas fighters safe passage in return for the release of Israeli hostages has been raised. Meanwhile, US officials accuse Hamas of not seeking a ceasefire. The US-backed truce plan, involving phased hostage and prisoner releases, has broken down due to differing demands. #GazaConflict #IsraelPalestine #LindseyGraham #MiddleEastNews #BreakingNews #CeasefireTalks #GazaOccupation #WarAndPeace Read More

Education Ministry Seeks Explanation From JNU VC For Skipping Key Conference Without Approval

The Education Ministry has asked JNU VC Santishree Pandit to explain her absence from a key VCs' meet, despite a prior invite. The Ministry of Education has sought a written explanation from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Vice-Chancellor Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit over her absence from a key conference of Central University heads, sources told PTI. Officials noted that Pandit did not attend the Vice-Chancellors' conference without obtaining prior approval from the Ministry. Her absence was flagged as a serious matter. There has been no official response from the JNU Vice-Chancellor on the issue so far. 'Her absence was viewed seriously. In such circumstances, Vice-Chancellors are required to take prior approval. There was a conference at JNU coinciding with the Vice-Chancellors' conference. But it should have been kept in mind that the invite for this conference was extended much in advance," a source said. While the Ministry's conference was scheduled for July 10–11 in Kevadia, Gujarat, JNU was hosting its own three-day conference on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) from July 10 to 12, which former Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurated. Key discussions at the event focused on assessing how Central Universities are aligning with the NEP's next-phase objectives, fostering dialogue on institutional innovations and challenges, and preparing universities for upcoming policy milestones, regulatory shifts, and the evolving global academic landscape leading up to 2047. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's.
