
School student beaten to death in front of his classmates

ALBAWABA - A 10-year-old school boy in Pakistan died after being severely beaten by the principal of his private school in North Kashmir, in the presence of his classmates.
In detail, Khayalat Khan, a sixth-grade student, was repeatedly beaten with a rod all over his body for a simple mistake, leading to his later death in the hospital.
The principal of the school was arrested immediately by the police in Pakistan, according to the Mirror, and a formal investigation was launched into the incident.
Khyber District Police Officer Rai Mazhar Iqbal emphasized that violence against children is absolutely unacceptable, emphasizing that teachers must set an example and not exploit their position in such a brutal manner.

Russia: Two bridges collapse in Bryansk and Kursk Regions, 7 killed
ALBAWABA - Two bridges collapsed in two Russian regions that are located on the border with Ukraine, Russian authorities confirmed. CNN detailed that it wasn't sure if the two incidents; that happened in neighboring Bryansk and Kursk Regions, were related or not, but officials opened a probe into the two collapses. At least seven people were killed when a bridge fell onto a passing passenger train in Russia's Bryansk Region on Saturday evening, RT reported, adding that 69 others were injured in the accident. A freight train also derailed in Russia's Kursk region on Sunday after a bridge collapsed underneath it, Acting Governor Aleksandr Khinshteyn mentioned. He added that one of the train's drivers was taken to the hospital with leg injuries. An investigation to determine the cause of the incident was opened by Russian authorities, according to the governor. "A bridge on a highway was blown up as a train with 388 passengers was moving under it," Bryansk Region Governor Alexander Bogomaz announced on Sunday morning.
