The former dental nurse has convinced some of the biggest DJs on the planet to perform in her hometown of Dundee at her Doof in the Park event this weekend.
Ellie would have been one of her VIPs and has been by her side as her fame has exploded.
But Hannah revealed she won't be cancelling and in an emotional tribute she vowed to play on in memory of her tragic friend.
Hannah said: 'I write this with a broken heart. It doesn't feel real.
"My best mate is gone and now a piece of me too. Words can't comprehend it.
'You weren't just my friend, you were my sister. Everyone would always comment on how our personalities were so similar.
'You were of course supposed to be coming to Doof in the Park on Saturday. I know you would want me to power on. This one is for you.
'Love you always Ellie. Rest in peace my sister. I'll carry you with me forever.'
Hannah, 30, was a DJ on the side in local pubs and clubs as she worked full-time in a dentist's surgery before her hobby took over.
She's now one of the biggest DJ's in the world and jets around the globe to play sold-out gigs.
We just tied the knot at Glastonbury in front of 500 strangers - I wore a £27 Shein dress & we saved £20K on the DJ too
This year she got a residency at exclusive Ibiza club HI, and is one of the first females to get the top gig.
But she's always wanted to do something in Dundee and set about creating Doof in the Park, at the city's Camperdown Park.
Big names including Armin Van Buren and Judge Jules, among many others, will take to the three stages on Saturday. The 15,000 tickets sold out within a week.
Proud Hannah has been involved in every aspect of the festival, from the toilets down to the food trucks.
Her parents, grandparents and friends will be with her as she plays for her hometown crowd.
But she opened up to fans and told how her plans have taken an unexpected knock after Ellie's death.
Hannah said the pair had been inseparable over the years.
Hannah added: 'We went through every stage of life together. You were at my first ever gig.
'You always had my back - loyal to the core. I'll cherish those mischievous memories for the rest of my life.
'I'll miss your kindness, your craziness and your wild stories. You were the funniest, wittiest person I have ever met. Your charisma was f*****g infectious.'
Gill Young runs street food diner The Shack in Dundee and is heading to Doof in the Park after being invited by Hannah.
She called on fans to rally behind the DJ and help pay tribute to Ellie.
Gill said: 'Two kids who have grown up so close they became sisters.
"They've been through it all together, supporting each other all the way.
'This Saturday, Hannah has the biggest night of her life and to not have Ellie there is going to be so heartbreaking,
'But Dundee we are gonna be there. And for these twa wee legends who have fought so hard in this life and to be parted at this point we will chant their names so loud they will hear us in ibiza.
'We always come together with love and positive vibes. We are famous for it.'

The childhood sweethearts had started dating in 2015, and Emily was heartbroken when Ryan was sent home after a sing off against divisive rapper, Honey G. However, there were only tears of joy on Friday when the couple tied the knot in a stunning ceremony near Glasgow. Emily, 26, shared a series of snaps from her big day on Instagram and captioned them: "Mr & Mrs Lawrie." The singer - who performs under the name ili - looked beautiful in a flowing wedding gown with a sweetheart neckline. Meanwhile Ryan - who writes songs for other artists under the moniker KoolKid - wore a traditional Scottish kilt. One picture saw Ryan sweep his new wife into his arms and tilt her backwards for a kiss at the altar, while another showed the newlyweds laughing as they cuddled on the grass in the sunshine. The couple were also seen taking to the dancefloor at their reception for their first dance, with their friends and family all crowded around to watch. Later, Emily switched into a second dress so she could really bust a move. It was a short, strapless white dress covered in pearls and she teamed it with a silver pair of Crocs. Ryan Lawrie admits he wants to win X Factor over girlfriend Emily Middlemas After their big day, Ryan reposted the snaps of their wedding as well as a picture of their new 'Mr and Mrs' mugs. He wrote: "Thank you to everyone who attended our big day & for all your beautiful cards/gifts. It means the world to us. Lots of love." Their wedding comes three years after Ryan proposed at the Giza Pyramids in Egypt in June 2022. 5 Ryan was sent home after a sing off with Honey G Credit: Splash News

‘For crying out loud' fume shoppers as chocolate advent calendar ALREADY on shelves at UK supermarket

One expert argues that shopping for Christmas early means you'll bag the best deals XMAS COMES EARLY 'For crying out loud' fume shoppers as chocolate advent calendar ALREADY on shelves at UK supermarket Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) DESPITE the UK basking in glorious sunshine and with still plenty of time left of August, some shops are sneaking in early Christmas treats. Fed-up shoppers took to social media to name and shame one supermarket after noticing an Advent calendar on its shelves. 2 The fancy Advent calendar is already in stores Credit: Facebook The shop in the firing line is B&M, after a photo of the Guylian countdown treat was shared on New Foods UK's Facebook. "For crying out loud, it is only August! Some of us haven't had our summer holiday yet," one moaned, adding angry-face emojis. Another pointed out: "The way the chocolate is going in b&m during this heat, I would hate to think what it would be like in Dec!" "It's bloody August!" a third echoed. "Can't we just enjoy summer? We'll have months of this to come," argued a forth. But not everyone was annoyed by the bargain retailers forward thinking. One person tagged her husband and wrote: "Please do not pass by this in B&M without buying me one!!" Another tagged a friend and said: "Get looking early. I'd like one of these please." The £12 calendar is filled with three different flavours of the iconic Belgian chocolates. From December 1 to 24, behind each door is a milk truffle, original seashell, or salted caramel delight. And it's not just Advent calendars that the bargain store is flogging. Another picture of seasonal goodies was shared on Dansway Gifts and Bargains UK Facebook Group. "Festive Chocolate Selection Boxes are BACK at B&M," one shopper wrote. "A few we found whilst in store today, there's lots of other Christmas chocolate to choose from!" But one disappointed customer penned: "We've not even finished summer yet or had Halloween. "I swear Christmas gets earlier and earlier every year, makes you wonder how long these chocolates sit there before we buy and save for Christmas." Another added: "Too soon for Christmas but I'd still scoff them." While it may feel premature to start stocking up on Christmas treats, bargain hunters often bag better deals in the off-season. In fact, one expert has shared why now is the ideal time to buy your festive decorations, and where to buy them. 2 B&M is also flogging selection packs of chocolates Credit: Alamy

Each packet contains six strips of chewy sour candy. One shopper shared the find on the Facebook group Snack Reviews - and hundreds of people were commenting excitedly. "Oh my god I haven't eaten them since I was a child! They are amazing!" one person raved. Another begged their friend: "Please if you ever see these, I will give you the money for 10 packets, I haven't seen these since I was a child." A third person said: "I remember these from the 80s, only they came in little mesh bags with a little clasp on the end." And, referencing another blast to the past, another person wrote: "Remind me of the ones used to get in Woolworths in a net as a kid." Others said they had spotted the sweets on holiday in countries like Spain and Portugal. The return of the retro sweet It comes as other supermarkets have also been reintroducing retro sweets. Sainsbury's, Tesco and Morrisons recently brought back the iconic 80s Opal Fruits - a whole 27 years after they were axed. Nostalgic candy with '50 cent taste' could be wiped from shelves for good after 120 years The individually wrapped chewy squares were rebranded as Starburst in 1998. Meanwhile B&M fans were in a frenzy after spotting Horlicks Original Tablets back on shelves. The chewable version of the malted drink originally launched in the 1930s and was given to troops in WW2 to help boost their energy. They had disappeared by the time the 2000s came around - but now they're in B&M for £1.75. Shoppers were also delighted when Sainsbury's brought out a dupe of a classic noughties sweet. The Rowntree's Bursting Bugs first hit shelves back in 2000 but were later discontinued. Fans loved their creepy crawly shapes and gooey filling. Now, Sainsbury's has brought out Bugs & Beetles Sweets that look almost identical.
