Dunelm's top interior design trends for 2025
Maximalism
Maximalism is about unleashing your creativity and bringing joy to everything around you, day in and day out. Bold pattern combinations of florals, checks and geometrics set the tone with a bright joyous colour palette that holds everything together.
Don't mistake Maximalism for having loads of stuff, it's about mixing and matching florals, layering key pieces and storytelling throughout your home, and ultimately doing things your own way. Dunelm's new collaboration with Sophie Robinson is all about that.
Minimaluxe
The interiors world has witnessed the evolution of "minimalism" into a richer, more luxurious iteration. The goal is quiet luxury - simplicity with a sense of sophistication.
Minimaluxe focuses on creating spaces that are pared down yet warm, elegant, and inviting. Gloriously tactile textures, in a palette of warm neutrals, with hints of caramel and gold, complete the look. Introducing softer forms and round edges to avoid a space feeling overly stark
The Edit
Built on the philosophy that having fewer thoughtfully designed and well-made things helps us leave a lighter imprint on the earth. Interior design is shifting to be inspired by the natural world, and all its perfect imperfections.
Take Dunelm's The Edited Life collection, it focuses on natural materials like wicker, jute and linens - as well as décor pieces and hand-thrown pottery vessels that feature forms dictated by the artisan's mark. Soft relaxed fabric textures mixed with uneven wood grains help bring this neutral, look together.
New Nouveau
Blending 19th century inspired maximalism with a contemporary colour palette this collection takes inspiration from the ornamental art form from the Nouveau era. Rich and luxurious, blending a little bit of history with a more modern aesthetic you can mix and layer into your home.
Stylised Lily motifs adorn sumptuous textiles and wallpapers mixed with marbling & stained glass vintage style lighting for a vintage inspired look, with a modern twist.
Facebook users were clearly left gobsmacked by the epic sale price of the eucalyptus tree, as Lisa's post has quickly racked up 236 likes and 33 comments.
Savvy savers were desperate to get their hands on the reduced find and many raced to the comments to express this.
One person simply said: 'Wow.'
Another altered a friend and added: 'Worth checking out.'
A third tagged a loved one and commented: 'Trip to Dunelm please.'

'My side hustle made nearly £50K in weeks as I went from being broke to luxury'
After spending so long worrying about her low income, one savvy woman has revealed how she now lives financially free after taking the plunge with her side hustle A woman has revealed exactly how she went from living pay-check to pay-check to a life of luxury - all thanks to a side hustle people thought was "silly". Olivia Duckert started off working in a job that paid her £1,200 a month, but has managed to rake in nearly £50,000 in 10 weeks. The 22-year-old claimed she can make up to £9,000 a day thanks to doing digital marketing all from her phone. She learnt everything she needed to know from an online course, and said anyone can do it as you don't need any qualifications or a degree. The entrepreneur claimed she was suffering a burnout and has managed to change her life. Now she spends her mornings doing Pilates and drinking Starbucks rather than rushing around and going into the office. Olivia detailed that her job involves selling digital products such as guides, planners and courses online. She said during her initial course, she was given products to use when she started the course, so she then edited them andre-branded them to make them her own - making 100% of the profit on them. "I was burnt out. I was exhausted. I just knew that something needed to change", she revealed in a video on Instagram. She then said she managed to make the money back she spent on the course in just six days and added: "I'm now a five figure business owner and I live every single day on my own terms. "I am honestly so grateful that I decided to actually take the leap." Despite being scared to start digital marketing, she told her followers she wished she'd done it sooner. She has started offering out her advice and knowledge to others who are eager to start their own side hustle like hers. Help us improve our content by completing the survey below. We'd love to hear from you! Olivia opened up about her journey on Instagram where she said for so long she was "stuck in survival mode-juggling bills, trying to stay afloat, and constantly waiting for the weekend to feel a glimpse of peace. It was draining." However she hit a breaking point in 2024 and knew she needed more for herself - but didn't know how. She added: "I'd watch others travel, treat their families, and enjoy life while I felt stuck in a loop. By April 2025, I'd had enough. I started exploring digital marketing and selling digital products from my phone- just hoping to make a little extra on the side." She said she didn't expect it to change everything, and in just 10 weeks claims to have made over £45,000 alongside everything else, and is happy she can now treat her loved ones, take slow mornings and breathe. The post gushed: "And knowing that I'm building something that gives me freedom? That's priceless & Joy doesn't have to be expensive, but having the freedom to actually live? That's the game-changer." In a separate video, Olivia revealed she made £9,000 in just one day. She took a video as she did her hair and wrote over the top: "Actual footage of me getting ready to head out shopping for the day, knowing that I no longer have any financial stresses as yesterday alone I earned over £9,000 from my phone."
