Outrage as Channel Ten spoils MasterChef Australia: Back To Win grand finale during advert break just moments before the winner is announced
On Tuesday night, Laura Sharrad went up against Callum Hann in a nail-biting final episode that saw two of the show's most beloved contestants duke it out over two courses.
By the end of the episode, Laura emerged as the winner and walked away with a $250,000 cash prize and the title of MasterChef.
However, according to watchers of the hit reality show, an ad break revealed the 2025 winner just moments before it was announced by the MasterChef judges.
Fans flocked to X, formerly Twitter, fuming that the 'spoiler' ruined the big reveal.
'Channel 10 showed an ad with Laura holding the trophy halfway through the final! What a spoiler! #MasterChefAU,' one person wrote.
Another pointed out: 'The ad has been shown a few weeks ago. What a spoiler.'
One person took to the platform and claimed the show's editing gave away the winner, writing: 'A note to the producers of the show: it is not acceptable that we all knew how this would end from the first episode of the season.
'The bias has been blatant and that's why we cannot rejoice the way we would have had the judging and editing been fair.'
Another added: 'But this was spoiled WEEKS ago with all the biased judging and edits. You really think it's a *spoiler* anymore?'
MasterChef Australia: Back To Win came to a close for 2025 with a thrilling grand finale on Tuesday night, which saw Laura emerge victorious.
'This is the most surreal feeling in the whole entire world,' Laura said as she broke down over the good news.
'I'm truly so proud of myself for coming back for a third time and completely setting myself up for heartbreak,' she continued.
'And pulling off what I never thought I really could do, but I've wanted to for so long. I've dreamt of this moment since I was 13.
However, according to watchers of the hit reality show , an ad break revealed the 2025 winner just moments before it was announced by the MasterChef judges
'To have my family here, watching me cook, has been the most truly special experience of my life,' Laura explained.
'I just want to thank Callum, more than anyone. Just the support that you've shown me throughout this competition both times has been so truly special. So thank you so much for everything.'
There was an additional touching moment as judge Andy Allen told Laura that the spirit of late judge Jock Zonfrillo lived on through her cooking.
By the end of the episode, Callum had scored 73 points while Laura's final score rang in at 74, winning by one point.
Callum was awarded $10,000 for coming in second place.

Abbie Chatfield's boyfriend Adam Hyde drops major bombshell about their romance
Abbie Chatfield 's boyfriend Adam Hyde has dropped a major bombshell about their one-year romance. The 35-year-old musician shared a gallery of throwback photos to social media on Tuesday, capturing some special moments they had shared, and accompanied it with some revealing words. 'We first met when she interviewed me in 2022 on her radio show. I lived in Los Angeles, she lived in Sydney,' Adam began. He admitted that neither of them were single when they first met - Abbie was dating The Bachelorette 's Konrad Bień-Stephen at the time - and yet they still felt an enormous spark for each other. 'She was 28, I was 32. We were both in relationships. She was doing her thing. I was doing mine,' he went on. Adam then revealed how they eventually began dating after that encounter. 'A year later we found ourselves single and in a crowded room together. Something was different now,' he continued. 'I have now discovered the happiest, healthiest, most supportive relationship in my life. I said, "I want to be your boyfriend." She said, "I want to be your girlfriend. I have fallen in love."' Abbie responded to Adam's heartfelt words with a sweet admission of her own: 'Sobbing. I love you so much.' The pair have been going from strength to strength since debuting their romance in June 2024, and Abbie has even featured in his on-stage performances. She previously told Stellar Magazine that her relationship with Adam is the best she's ever had. 'It isn't like other people I've had flings with. And this is gonna sound a bit w**ky, but he's had a bigger career than me,' she said after concerns from fans that Adam was 'using her' for fame. 'I don't think he's using me for anything. He's successful in his own right. 'I think I'm cool for being with him, not the other way around.' Abbie was friends with Adam for two years before they started dating, which she said has added to the trust between them. Earlier this month, Abbie sparked engagement rumours with Adam after sharing a song he wrote for her. The musician, who goes by the stage name Keli Holiday, has dropped the new single, called Dancing 2 - and Abbie was quick to endorse it. She shared the lyrics to her Instagram Stories, with the words seemingly inspired by the early days of the couple's romance. 'You got 28 years just to work it all out, another 28 years just to figure out what it meant to you,' the lyrics read. After sharing the track, Abbie also shared a message from a fan who said they wished they'd used the song at their wedding. 'It's such a wedding song!' Abbie enthused, perhaps hinting she may play it at her own wedding.

Tammy Hembrow's best friend shares VERY interesting timeline detail about her marriage breakdown with Matt Zukowski - as fitness influencer moves on with AFL star Bailey Smith
Tammy Hembrow 's best friend has made a very telling comment about the timeline of her marriage breakdown with Matt Zukowski. Matt and Tammy confirmed their split in Instagram posts back in June - seven months after tying the knot in Byron Bay. But Tammy's longtime pal Isabella Laws has fuelled speculation the couple ended things long before then in a bombshell comment under a local newspaper article. A story in the Geelong Advertiser analysed Tammy's relationship with her new AFL star beau Bailey Smith, claiming the pair's new romance comes just eight weeks after she and Matt parted ways. However, Isabella wasn't having any of it. 'Eight weeks is crazy. Closer to six months lol,' the comment read, implying that the couple split in mid-February, just two and a half months after their wedding. The comment caught the attention of Amy, Sophie and Kate Taeuber, who addressed the shade in the latest episode of their Outspoken podcast. 'That is a very quick turnaround,' one of the co-hosts noted. Another chimed in: 'The honeymoon period literally ended after the honeymoon.' The podcast hosts also called Tammy 'strategic' after she shared a montage video on Instagram sobbing and shaking in clips allegedly filmed during her marriage to Matt. In the caption of the post, Tammy explained that she had made the video 'so long ago' and that it was 'too much' for her to upload at the time. However, she decided to share the clip to help others going through a rough patch. 'I personally found the timing of Tammy's video very interesting because it appears to be in direct response to the claims Matt Zukowski made on his podcast on Thursday,' one of the sisters admitted. In Matt's latest episode of his podcast, he claimed to have been the one to end the relationship for 'mental health' reasons. 'A couple of months ago, I made one of the hardest decisions of my life. I decided to leave a relationship that I found was not right for me,' he told his co-host Anna McEvoy.' Following his admission, Tammy uploaded the emotional video, which soon went viral. 'I think what we're all witnessing at the moment is a masterclass in how Tammy has managed to attract 20 million social media followers and keep them entertained because she is super strategic with the content that she's posting at the moment,' one of the podcast hosts shared. 'She had this video ready to go in her bag of tricks to shift public sentiment when it was needed.'
