How to treat neck wrinkles naturally: 10 easy home remedies
Aloe vera gel for deep hydration and healing
Aloe vera is known for its soothing, hydrating, and anti-ageing properties. Its gel contains vitamins, enzymes, and amino acids that support skin regeneration.
Applying fresh aloe vera gel to the neck helps moisturise the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines. Let the gel sit for 20 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water. Regular use can make the skin feel smoother and look firmer over time.
Coconut oil to boost collagen and moisture
Coconut oil is rich in antioxidants and vitamin E, both of which are essential for maintaining skin elasticity and fighting free radicals that cause ageing. Gently massaging a small amount of coconut oil into the neck before bedtime helps lock in moisture, soften fine lines, and promote collagen production.

Honey and lemon mask for tightening and glow
Honey is a natural humectant that keeps the skin hydrated, while lemon juice is rich in vitamin C and helps in tightening the skin. Mixing one tablespoon of honey with a few drops of lemon juice and applying it to the neck for 15–20 minutes can rejuvenate dull skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. However, if you have sensitive skin, it's best to do a patch test first due to lemon's acidic nature.
Olive oil massage for nourishment
Olive oil is a powerhouse of vitamins A and E, which help repair skin and maintain its smoothness. Massaging a few drops of warm olive oil into the neck each night before bed improves blood circulation and provides deep nourishment. With regular use, it can help soften wrinkles and restore a youthful look to the skin.
Egg white mask to tighten sagging skin
Egg whites are rich in proteins and can naturally tighten the skin. Applying an egg white mask to the neck helps firm up sagging areas and reduce the visibility of wrinkles.
Leave the egg white on for about 15 minutes or until it dries completely, then rinse with warm water. Use this remedy two to three times per week for best results.
Vitamin E oil to repair and rejuvenate skin
Vitamin E is well-known for its skin-repairing abilities and is often used in anti-ageing products. Applying vitamin E oil directly to the neck and massaging it in helps improve skin elasticity and promote cell regeneration. For added benefits, you can pierce a vitamin E capsule and apply the oil directly.
Use it consistently at night to see visible results.
Cucumber slices to refresh and hydrate
Cucumber has a high water content and cooling properties, making it an excellent remedy for dry and tired skin. Placing fresh cucumber slices on the neck for 15–20 minutes can hydrate the area and soothe inflammation or irritation. It's a simple and refreshing treatment that can be done daily, especially during the hot summer months.
Almond oil massage for fine line reduction
Almond oil is another excellent source of vitamin E and is known for its ability to soften the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
Gently massage a few drops of almond oil into the neck using upward strokes. This improves circulation and keeps the skin supple and elastic, helping to prevent the deepening of existing wrinkles.
Carrot juice for antioxidant protection
Carrots are packed with beta-carotene and antioxidants that can help in skin repair and protection. Applying freshly squeezed carrot juice to the neck and leaving it for 10–15 minutes before rinsing off with water can improve skin tone and texture.
The antioxidants help neutralise damage caused by free radicals, which can worsen signs of ageing.
Daily sun protection to prevent further damage
One of the most crucial yet often neglected steps in preventing neck wrinkles is using sunscreen. The neck is frequently exposed to harmful UV rays, which accelerate ageing and cause premature wrinkles. Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to your neck before going out in the sun. Reapply as needed, especially if sweating or spending extended time outdoors.
Neck wrinkles may be inevitable with age, but with consistent care and natural remedies, their appearance can be softened. Incorporating these easy, affordable treatments into your routine, along with proper hydration, sun protection, and a healthy lifestyle, can help maintain smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin on the neck.

Dwarf virus: ‘Under control' claims face farmers' spray worries
Chandigarh: Despite a favourable monsoon, Punjab's paddy crop has been hit by a resurfacing outbreak of the Southern Rice Black-Streaked Dwarf Virus, commonly known as the Fiji virus. The state's agriculture department claims that the virus is under control, officially affecting just over 510 hectares in multiple districts. However, farmers are expressing significant concern, fearing that multiple insecticide sprays may only offer temporary relief, and have already resulted in financial losses. The virus, first identified in the region in 2022, severely stunts plant growth and reduces crop yield, threatening the season's harvest. It causes rice plants to become severely stunted, often reducing their height by half or more. Infected plants also develop a distinct dark green colour with narrow, upright leaves, while their roots become weak and black, hindering nutrient absorption. The virus is not transmitted through wind or water; instead, it is spread by an insect known as the whitebacked planthopper (WBPH). While the virus is more commonly found in early-sown, non-basmati rice varieties, it has also been detected in some basmati fields. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Learn 57+ Languages Easily with AI [Join] Talkpal AI Undo Jaskaranvir Singh, a farmer from Khamanon village in Fatehgarh Sahib, said acting on the advice of agricultural experts, he sprayed the crop twice so far – something that was typically not required at this stage of the season. "The sprays are an additional financial burden. Our fear is that the whitebacked planthopper may become active and spread to other plants," he said. Since there is no direct cure for the virus, the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) advised farmers to conduct weekly field inspections and, upon detecting the presence of the planthopper, to use specific insecticides. Director of agriculture Jaswant Singh said the virus was currently "under control", and special teams had been deployed to monitor the situation on the ground. He mentioned that field staff was informing farmers about recommended sprays. The affected area is officially estimated at 510 hectares. "This time, the virus was addressed at the start of its attack," he added. In 2022, a dwarf virus outbreak attacked paddy crop in at least six districts, including Mohali and Pathankot, prompting the agriculture department to recommend a crop loss assessment. The virus affected over 34,000 hectares or approximately 5% of the state's total paddy crop. At the time, agricultural experts noted that the disease's maximum impact was on the PR-121 variety, which was sown early by the farmers despite official recommendations to plant after June 20.
