LLOYD GLASSPOOL and Julian Cash became the first all-British pairing to win the Wimbledon men's doubles title for 89 YEARS.
Brummie Glasspool, 31, and Brighton-born Cash, 28, overcame alternates Rinky Hijikata of Australia and David Pel from Holland 6-2 7-6 in 82 minutes on a hot afternoon on Centre Court.

The pair have dominated the grass-court season this summer, winning the titles at Queen's and Eastbourne, stretching their unbeaten streak to 14 matches on the surface.
They are the first homegrown duo to take home these silver bowls since Pat Hughes and Raymond Tuckey in 1936.
The two guys shared a selfie on court when the result was confirmed and thanked their respective friends and family.
Glasspool's elder brother Parry, 33, is an actor and has appeared in Hollyoaks and Emmerdale soaps.
And his fiancé is businesswoman and legal expert Sophia Maslin, from London, who has launched a company dedicated to drawing up the final wishes of people who die young.
Maslin was in the players' box, screaming her head off as she always does, as the two lads worked out how to split a £680,000 top prize.
Glasspool said: 'It's incredible. We've had a Brit win last year (Henry Patten) and the year before (Neal Skupski). Now we have given you two Brits. We did our best.
'I want to thank all of my team. I've had people fly in from America, Italy, though coming from Birmingham is not as impressive.

'My fiancé Sophia has put up with me for the last two weeks, making her stay in bed until I wake up.
'All the LTA staff, who have given us massive support through my whole career, the coaches, the physios. They help us all through the year. We are incredibly grateful.'
A shameless Wimbledon queue-jumper tried to pull a fast one to bag a Centre Court seat but got served a lesson they'll never forget
Hijikata and Pel had little expectation this fortnight and were a scratch pairing, having not met before the tournament had started, and shared their first words together on day one.
By winning this trophy in front of a healthy Centre Court crowd thanks to the 1pm start, the two Englishmen have now confirmed their spot at the end-of-season ATP Finals in Turin in November.
Glasspool had been involved in 17 majors before this one and Cash had participated in 11 in his career without ever going beyond the quarter-final stage.
Cash said: 'We've played a crazy amount of tennis on the grass. Every match we possibly could.

'A lot of people were talking about this event. There was a lot of pressure on our shoulders.
'The fact we were able to do what everyone was talking about is surreal. This means the world.
'Going into this year we had two goals – the first one was to make Turin, the other one was to win a Slam.
'A lot of people would have probably not believed us. Neither of us had been past the quarter-final coming into this year.
'Our team backed us. We put so much effort in. Playing doubles, we aren't always on the biggest courts, so to play on the most special court in the world is incredible.'

Sheffield Wednesday crisis: Hillsborough stand deemed ‘unsafe' as top players leave

Sheffield Wednesday's crisis is reaching breaking point with fears over Hillsborough being ready for the new season, amid safety concerns, and two senior players exiting the club. First-team players have been training at the national football centre in St George's Park, Burton, as training facilities were not ready for pre-season, and now there are concerns over the North Stand of the stadium being closed for the start of the season. Sheffield City Council have warned they may not be able to approve a safety certificate for the stand to be used by fans, with 'extensive corrosion' found in the roof. The BBC reported that minutes from the Council's safety advisory group in June highlight the problem and need the work done before fans are allowed in. They also requested an away game for the opening match of the Championship season, which was granted as Wednesday travel to Leicester on Aug 10. Wednesday have been warned the authority will not be 'in a position to approve the continuance of the existing general safety certificate' until the works are completed, according to the minutes. It added there was 'currently no professional reassurance as to the safety of the North Stand structure'. Josh Windass, Wednesday's top scorer in the Championship last season, has left by mutual consent, along with Michael Smith. Players left also want clarity over whether Danny Röhl will continue as manager. Owner Dejphon Chansiri has overseen a chaotic summer where players and staff were not paid wages on time. Röhl was in talks over leaving the club before returning to pre-season training, although it is still unclear whether he will take charge of the team next season. The club have confirmed they will be without Windass and Smith. Several players handed in their notice after not getting paid, with the senior pair confirmed as departures. Smith, 33, was the club's second-highest scorer in the Championship with eight goals and was a regular for Röhl. Windass scored 13 times and is now a free agent after an agreement to leave was thrashed out. In an emotional post on social media, Windass wrote: 'Wow. Five-and-a-half seasons at this incredible football club, I can't explain just how much I have enjoyed playing for this club, representing the badge and the people of Sheffield. To the staff that have worked with me behind the scenes, to the players, and to the supporters – I can not thank you enough for the love and support you have given me during the time I have been here. 'I can categorically tell you without any hesitation that I have given 100 per cent in every single day in training session and at every game. My goal is to always give supporters moments to remember when they go home from a game, and hopefully that is what I have done and I hope you remember me that way. I will never ever forget Sheffield Wednesday and for sure I'll be a fan for life. Thank you again and hopefully I'll see you again soon.' Wednesday's first home game is scheduled for Aug 16 against Stoke City. According to the safety advisory minutes, works could 'potentially continue during the season in between fixtures.'

The Open golf star suffers a meltdown and takes FOUR shots to escape a bunker and cards 10 at hole No4 at Royal Portrush

ROYAL Portrush claimed a scalp when Shaun Norris needed FOUR shots to escape a bunker. The South African went out of bounds from the tee on the fourth hole in the second round of The 153rd Open. So that saw him take three off the tee. He then hit his third stroke into a fairway bunker. The poor fellow needed four attempts to escape the sand, when he eventually found the fairway. But he came up short and left on the approach to the green to find the rough and then chipped on before tapping in a simple putt. So Norris ended up taking TEN strokes on the par 4. He was +1 for the tournament before starting the hole. He walked off the green at +7 and in serious danger of missing the cut. But somehow he did recover his composure and went on to birdie the next hole. Golf fans watching the action unfold, though, took to social media with their reaction to the SEXTUPLE bogey. One wrote: "If this isn't the most Open Championship coded thing ever then I'd be hard pressed to find what is. I present Shaun Norris's scorecard from the 4th hole." Another said: "From level par to 6 over in the blink of an eye. Links golf in a nutshell." Tiger Woods famously hit an atrocious ten at the 2020 Masters - the worst score of his career. The American superstar dumped three balls in the water at the 155-yard par 3 12th. 2 Shaun Norris' nightmare hole Shot 1: 264yds to Out of Bounds, 250yds to pin Shot 2: Penalty incurred Shot 2: Drops ball to Tee, 498yds to pin Shot 3: 266yds to Fairway Bunker, 233yds to pin Shot 4: 0yds to Fairway Bunker, 232yds to pin Shot 5: 0yds to Fairway Bunker, 231yds to pin Shot 6: 0yds to Fairway Bunker, 232yds to pin Shot 7: 39yds to Fairway, 196yds to pin Shot 8: 173yds to Rough, 23yds to pin Shot 9: 21yds to Green, 7ft. 5in. to pin Shot 10: Ball Holed: Sextuple bogey
