Class of 2026 four-star offensive tackle Malakai Lee, one of the top players in the country, remains uncommitted as he considers some of the top college football programs in the country.

Lee (6-foot-7, 310 pounds) plays for Kamehameha Secondary High School in Honolulu, Hawaii. He ranks as the No. 9 offensive tackle, the No. 1 player in the state of Hawaii and the No. 85 recruit overall in his class, per On3.
Lee is projected to land at Michigan, according to 247Sports' Steve Lorenz.
Head coach Sherrone Moore and the Wolverines extended a scholarship offer to Lee in the summer of last year before making his top-four schools, also including Georgia, Texas and Alabama.
Georgia (April 10) and Alabama (May 30) officially hosted Lee before Texas got its opportunity over the weekend.

And head coach Steve Sarkisian's Longhorns must have made a significant impression, as Lee spoke highly of the trajectory of the SEC powerhouse.

Although Texas hasn't won a national championship since 2005 and hasn't played for one since 2009, Lee believes the Longhorns will reach the promised land soon.
"They will be National Champions very soon," Lee said via Steve Wiltfong after his visit.
Lee's bold claim follows two standout seasons by Texas, including back-to-back College Football Playoff appearances. The Longhorns fell one game shy of a national championship shot in a loss to Ohio State in the semifinals last season.
There is also some notable momentum on the recruiting trail, as Texas signed the nation's No. 1 class in the 2025 cycle and are pushing for another top class in 2026.

Lee, coming off his visit to the Longhorns, is slated to officially visit Michigan on June 20 and plans to announce his decision on Aug. 15.

HOUSTON (AP) — Isaac Paredes hit a solo homer and Jose Altuve doubled twice and had two RBIs to lead the Houston Astros over the Chicago White Sox 4-3 on Thursday night. Most of the fairways are long and there are five par-5 holes on the course at Blythefield Country Club, and strong players are able to rack up some birdies. Advertisement But four of the top 10 golfers on the leaderboard did even better, as Mi Hyang Lee and Grace Kim both shot eagles on the par-5 No. 10 hole to surge ahead of the field. Meanwhile, American Andrea Lee eagled 18 to remain just three shots back and Ruixin Liu eagled No. 14 to finish 5-under. Mi Hyang Lee had the lead at 8-under-par 64. Kim was just one shot behind at 7-under. Lee eagled No. 10, one hole after four consecutive birdies to soar into the lead. "Then I didn't expect to make it, but just trying to make more distance control the putting but it was working." Lee was pleased with her day overall, especially the four birdies in a row. "So my shot was great. I missed only two fairways. I think that's a lot of help for hit the green a lot, too," Lee said. 'I think it's very significant right now that they're throwing first-teamers at Dillon," wrote Kabot. "Dillon is playing with the first-team offense against the first-team defense. I mean, those are choice quality reps that he's getting.' The Browns are one of the more intriguing quarterback battles around the league, with Gabriel, Sanders, Joe Flacco, and Kenny Pickett. Advertisement 'The Browns are positioning Gabriel to potentially serve as the backup quarterback behind a veteran starter, likely Joe Flacco or Pickett," Kabot wrote. "Sanders, meanwhile, is on a longer developmental timeline.' Things can change between now and the team's official training camp in August, but the Browns have seemingly liked what they've seen from Gabriel if they're not afraid to throw first-team reps at him. While he's not the biggest, Gabriel has a solid arm with great ball placement. They likely won't build around him, but they can likely keep you competitive in a game if he's thrown into the game in an emergency situation.
