Man robbed of his AR-15 during sale in Spanaway parking lot
A man who arranged to sell his AR-15 rifle in a Safeway parking lot last month was robbed at gunpoint in Spanaway, the Pierce County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) posted on Facebook.
PSCO says the man was a legal gun owner, and one of the suspects allegedly pointed a gun at his head, and demanded he hand over the rifle while also taking a personal handgun from him before they ran away.
Seen on surveillance video, two juveniles and two young adults fled the scene in a van, according to PCSO.
After witnesses reported the license plate and description of the vehicle, police were able to locate it a few hours later in Puyallup, the post said.
Two ran from the van while two others stayed inside and complied with deputies, PCSO said.
One of those who ran on foot was arrested, and the remaining suspect was later found by a Pierce County Sheriff K9 named Griff.

Dressed in an orange jumpsuit, two-time convicted felon Damien Madison appeared in a Thurston County courtroom through video, a day after he was extradited from Nevada. The sheriff's office released video of that chase, allegedly showing Madison in an SUV and using an AR-15, as he disabled a cruiser with gunfire. The driver was later arrested, but Madison got away. That triggered a massive manhunt and five days later, he was caught. Authorities tracked down Madison near the Nevada-California border and stopped his mother's car south of Las Vegas. They arrested Madison and detained his mother. Sanders says he hopes Madison will remain in custody for a long time. 'I mean, at the end of the day, I've seen the video, I see the impacts of it downstream and no one likes driving around feeling like their streets are simulation of Grand Theft Auto. So when people like him are put away for a long time, we're all safer for it,' said Sanders.

Syracuse man sentenced to prison after firing loaded rifle at East Syracuse gas station
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — 36-year-old Richard Bradley, of Syracuse, was sentenced to 14 months in prison, as he was convicted of being a felon who was found in possession of a firearm last fall. This stems from an incident back in September 2024 when Manlius Police found him being subdued in an East Syracuse Sunoco parking lot after firing his rifle. At the time, police told NewsChannel 9 that Bradley had fired an AR-15-style rifle while inside his car through the backseat and into the trunk. According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, as part of Bradley's guilty plea, he admitted that he had possessed a loaded assault rifle in his vehicle, which was parked at the gas station. 'Bradley inadvertently fired the rifle several times, but did not strike anyone. As a result of his prior felony conviction for criminal mischief, Bradley could not lawfully possess a firearm. Court Judge Glenn Suddaby also imposed a three-year term of supervised release to begin following Bradley's term of imprisonment, and ordered him to forfeit the rifle he possessed. 'When Bradley fired the rifle in the parking lot, he put the lives of everyone at that gas station in danger,' U.S. Attorney Sarcone stated. New York Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the Manlius Police Department investigated the case with assistance from the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office.
