Chivalrous Knight 3 team inspects Gaza water project progress
The project aims to establish sustainable water pipelines to supply southern Gaza, forming part of the UAE's broader relief and humanitarian efforts to support the Palestinian people.
Vital infrastructure amid humanitarian crisis
This initiative is one of the most critical infrastructure projects currently underway, designed to address the urgent needs of displaced families and local residents affected by the ongoing conflict.
Cross-border coordination and implementation
Implemented with CMWU and in coordination with Egyptian authorities, the project includes laying a 7-kilometre water pipeline. The line starts from UAE-run desalination stations in Rafah, Egypt, and extends to Al Mawasi in southern Gaza, a densely populated area with large numbers of displaced people.
Benefiting hundreds of thousands
An estimated 600,000 people—including children, women, and the elderly—are expected to benefit from the new water infrastructure.
Addressing urgent water needs
The project is designed to provide a reliable supply of clean, safe water, easing the burden of water shortages, health risks, and summer heat experienced by residents due to damaged infrastructure and resource scarcity.
Part of broader UAE relief strategy
The initiative is part of a larger Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 strategy, which encompasses a variety of relief, medical, and infrastructure projects aimed at supporting the population of Gaza.
Supervised implementation and rapid progress
The project is being executed under the supervision of Emirati technical teams, working closely with CMWU field teams to ensure high engineering standards and alignment with community needs.
On schedule for launch
Technical teams report that the project is progressing on schedule, with plans to launch water distribution to targeted areas as soon as possible.
A model of humanitarian and regional cooperation
Once operational, the project is expected to ease daily hardships for thousands of families and serve as a model for effective regional and international humanitarian cooperation, especially in crisis situations.

After the lottery numbers were picked, the system chose the seven Lucky Chance IDs, which give 'guaranteed' prizes of Dh100,000 each. The winning IDs were: CK6194776 AI0776416 DD8036686 CP6651315 CW7378863 BH3232556 АТ1838014 Each entry for a chance at the jackpot costs Dh50. Depending on the numbers they match, participants can win Dh100 million, Dh1 million, Dh100,000, Dh1,000 or Dh100. Participants can either select their lottery numbers or use the 'Easy Pick' feature that does the job through a random number generator. More recently, the UAE lottery launched several scratch card games, which gave players a chance to win up to Dh1 million.
