Creepy 'human whistle' heard inside abandoned Scots psychiatric hospital
Describing the noise as "unexplainable", the group were left "scared and shook" and caught the bizarre moment on camera after visiting the abandoned hospital.
A team of urban explorers were left "shook" after hearing a creepy"human whistle" inside an abandoned Scots psychiatric hospital.
The group entered Rosslynlee Hospital near Roslin, which has been closed since 2011 and have shared what they experienced inside, claiming they heard a "human-like whistle".
Describing the noise as " unexplainable", the group were left "scared and shook" and caught the bizarre moment on camera.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Lewis, 18, said: "As we looked up, we heard from the other side of the hall a whistle which could only be described as a human like whistle - it wasn't any bird or an animal.
"I looked at my mate and he looked like he had seen a ghost. I was a bit shook and confused as to what it was.
"We then left and as we got downstairs, the door that was fully opened and had slammed shut. We brushed it off as the wind but we realised later on that it couldn't have shut itself.
"We then swiftly left to check the video and make sure we weren't just hearing things. Our mind was not playing tricks on us because we heard it on video."
Back in 2021, it was reported that Jamie Osborne and Michael Cosgrove had a chilling experience while visiting the hospital in the summer of 2020. When they entered the building it was freezing cold and they could see their breath in the air.
These days, the paint on the hospital walls is peeling, other walls are covered in graffiti and there is even rusting old medical equipment abandoned in corners.
The men found an old wheelchair and took turns posing in it for photos - but what they found when looking at it afterwards is enough to send chills down anyone's spine.
A figure dressed in white appeared to be looming over Michael.
'After further examination it now looks like something much taller reaching over the chair and looking towards the camera.'
'Once we saw this we quickly left and didn't go back'.
In its heyday, the hospital was cut off from the rest of the city and even had its own water supply and vegetable garden. Patients would grow their own food as part of a treatment regime intended to improve their mental health through practical work and fresh air.

UK's biggest singer set for epic comeback with new music and surprise Glasto set
A Scottish music icon is said to be making his long-awaited comeback to music at Glastonbury after he took a step back in June 2023 Lewis Capaldi is reportedly set to stun fans tomorrow with the release of his eagerly awaited comeback single, marking his first new music since January last year. The timing couldn't be more electric, as he's also slated for a surprise appearance on Glastonbury's iconic Pyramid Stage. A source close to the singer revealed: 'Lewis took a decent chunk of time away and now he's ready for his fans to hear what he has been working on. "Tomorrow is a huge day for him. He will be releasing a brand new single and it is his Pyramid Stage performance. He is in a great place and feels ready to come back into the spotlight," they told The Sun. Capaldi's last Pyramid Stage show in 2023 was an emotional rollercoaster, ending prematurely with the star in tears. Reflecting on that moment, he admitted it made him realise he needed to 'spend much more time getting my mental and physical health in order.' Lewis took a break from singing and touring to focus on his mental and physical health, particularly his Tourette's syndrome and anxiety. He announced an extended break from touring in June 2023, after struggling with his voice during a Glastonbury performance. The Scottish singer has been open about his Tourette's and the impact it has on his singing and stage presence. After stepping back from the public eye, Lewis quietly began crafting fresh material last year, collaborating with British songwriter Dan D'Lion and was even spotted playing acoustic guitar in the studio. His musical return follows two chart-topping albums: the 2019 debut Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent and Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent from 2023. Insiders told the Mirror that Lewis is among a handful of surprise performers at this year's festival. He's reportedly taking the Pyramid Stage at 4:55 pm on Friday. Other secret gigs include Lorde at Woodsies (11:30 am Friday), Olivia Dean and Rachel Chinouriri at Strummerville (8 pm Friday), and CMAT at BBC Introducing (1:30 pm Friday). Saturday's hidden highlights feature Pulp on the Pyramid Stage at 6:15 pm and American band Haim at The Park at 7:30 pm. These whispered schedules have also surfaced on TikTok, with one user posting, 'Heard it here first people,' sharing similar times but placing CMAT at 8:30 pm on Friday - a slot still marked as TBA on the official lineup.

Emmerdale confirms Joe Absolom's first big storyline - and it spells trouble
Back in May we learned that soap legend Joe Absolom was making his way to the Dales for a huge new storyline and now we've learned it's going to be as dark as we'd hoped! Not that we want anything to happen our beloved Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), but he's in for bad time when Ray shows up in town. Ray has been slated to pop up as an old contact of Mackenzie's and is set to be 'charismatic and charming' but with a 'dark and villainous side', so right from the outset we know it's going to be a meaty one and we've been waiting for bated breath to see exactly how Joe's arrival is going to play out. Well, this is the week we get our first glimpse of Ray it's bad for Mack straight off the bat. And it's all down to Mack getting himself involved in Lewis Barton's (Bradley Riches) marijuana plants. Lewis had to shift his haul of weed to a deserted barn after being kicked out of his flat, but he had to do so with the help of Ross (Michael Parr) and Mack, which immediately put him in their debt. What an opportunity for this hapless pair – who started setting out the terms and demanding a cut of Lewis' crop, planning to sell the plants to a proper dealer. Lewis was dead against this, stating that the plants were to help people who really need it for medicinal purposes. With him still unconvinced, Ross tries to win him over and Mack lays on the emotional pressure of reminding him it's to help Moira (Natalie J Robb). Ross concedes and agrees to do things Lewis' way, but Mack is not so easily swayed. Instead of agreeing to Lewis' terms, Mack arranges his own deal behind both their backs – with Ray. He reveals his plan, and Lewis is struck down by the betrayal, believing his brother to have been behind it too. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Mack is left in a pickle when Ray turns up to inspect the goods he'll be purchasing – with the two brothers at odds, neither of them will help him sort the deal. And Ray is not the type of guy not to get what he wants. More Trending The next day Ross arrives at the barn and is fuming to find all the plants already gone, turning instantly on his now former pal Mack. EastEnders' Bernie blackmailed in exit story and The Six are not to blame
An unlikely suspect blackmails EastEnders' Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) next week as things get seriously messy ahead of her forthcoming exit. It is soon to be revealed that Bernie has been stealing money from the Panesars' business accounts, having been left in charge of them in Nish Panesar's (Navin Chowdhry) will. This week's episodes have seen the Panesars' new employee Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) grow suspicious about irregularities on some invoices, with Bernie trying to shut down her investigations. But in scenes to air next week, Vicki gets the evidence that proves Bernie is up to no good and sets about blackmailing her. The week's episodes begin with Vicki and her partner Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) being told Sharon Watts (Letita Dean) is evicting them because they failed to repay the loan she gave them. When Vicki then goes to Bernie for an advance on her wages to help raise the cash, she ends up getting fired. After stealing Bernie's laptop in retaliation, Vicki's suspicions about Bernie's book fiddling are confirmed and she tells Bernie she wants half of her stolen profits in return for her silence. Backed into a corner, Bernie is seemingly ready to cough up. However, Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) is horrified when she learns the truth about how Vicki is suddenly so flush with cash, worried about the threat it poses to The Six's secret. As fans will no doubt remember that back in September, Bernie found out that Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) killed her brother Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) in the Queen Vic on Christmas Day 2023, with Kathy, Sharon, Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) all helping her to cover it up.
