Apple Adds Human Touch To Online Shopping In India With Specialist Over Video
This new video shopping feature lets customers browse the latest Apple products, including the iPhone 16 lineup, learn about new features, check trade-in offers, financing options and get advice in real time. Reflecting how more and more people in India now prefer shopping online, Apple says its new feature is designed to be secure, simple to use and add a personal touch to its customers' online shopping experience.
This follows the launch of Apple Store app in India earlier this year, which brought more personalization to browsing, buying, and getting support. The service works in English, and it's available to both iOS and non-iOS users from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. IST.
To try the new feature, you can visit the Apple India Store online, scroll and tap on the Shop with a Specialist over video banner. The Specialist will join on video, while you stay on audio. It is designed to help you compare products, understand the differences between models, and get customised advice on what to buy and how to pay for it. In an era when more Apple products overlap in different price bands than ever, this personalized touch should help buyers make more informed decisions.
This launch reinforces Apple's broader goal of blending its online and offline experience in India.
'India is a vibrant and dynamic market, and we're thrilled to deepen our connection with customers here through Shop with a Specialist over Video,' said Karen Rasmussen, Apple's head of Retail Online. 'Whether someone lives in a metro city or a smaller town, we're committed to making it easier than ever for them to access the incredible products, services, and support Apple is known for. Our team members are excited to connect with even more customers in India and provide them with exceptional service as they learn what Apple products suit their needs.'

Jaguar Land Rover CEO Adrian Mardell to step down
Tata Motors owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Chief Executive Officer Adrian Mardell is leaving the company. 'Adrian Mardell has expressed his desire to retire from JLR after three years as CEO and 35 years with the company,' JLR said in a statement. 'His successor will be announced in due course.' Mardell's departure comes as JLR faces huge business challenges in the shape of import tariffs in the US – its biggest market – and a controversial luxury rebrand for Jaguar which see its range fully revamped as BEV-only from 2026. Jaguar isn't making any cars until the new electric lineup is ready next year. Mardell was appointed to the position of CEO in November 2022. Prior to that he was JLR's Chief Financial Officer. JLR Q1 FY26 sales decline amid model transition and US tariffs "Jaguar Land Rover CEO Adrian Mardell to step down" was originally created and published by Just Auto, a GlobalData owned brand. Qualcomm's (QCOM) Strong Q3 Performance Shows Resilience—But Apple's Exit Could Hurt
QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM) is one of the AI Stocks Investors Should Keep an Eye On. On July 31, Qualcomm reported fiscal third-quarter earnings, beating Wall Street expectations. The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $2.77, surpassing the LSEG consensus estimate of $2.71. Revenue for the quarter came in at $10.37 billion, ahead of the expected $10.35 billion. Looking ahead, the company's revenue guidance for Q3 CY2025 is $10.7 billion at the midpoint, above analyst estimates of $10.61 billion. Adjusted EPS guidance is $2.85 at the midpoint, above analyst estimates of $2.82. A financial analyst reviewing multitudes of digital evidence on a large monitor. However, the reliance on high-end smartphone chip sales and the likelihood of losing Apple as a customer for its modem business in the coming years drove down the optimistic quarterly forecast for the modem chips supplier. The company has warned that when Apple goes away, it will impact its chip segment revenue. Qualcomm reported that its chip segment revenue from non-Apple customers has climbed more than 15% so far. According to William McGonigle, analyst at Third Bridge, the chip segment sales increase, excluding Apple, 'is largely driven by ASP (average selling price) uplift from flagship Android launches rather than broad-based volume recovery.' QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM) develops wireless technologies, supplies chips for mobile, automotive, and IoT, licenses patents, and invests in emerging tech. While we acknowledge the potential of QCOM as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk. Apple's first-party USB-C Magic Keyboard with Touch ID is on sale for $179 right now via Amazon. That's a discount of $20, as the typical price is $199. This deal applies to both the white and black versions of this accessory. This keyboard has been specifically designed by the company to work with Apple Silicon computers. As previously mentioned, it includes a Touch ID sensor, for authentication, and an extended layout. It also has full-size arrow keys, which is great for gaming. Apple computers have been getting some big titles lately . Like most modern Apple accessories, it's wireless. The keyboard includes a replaceable battery that can go for around a month between charges. The overall design here is sleek and the keypad is responsive and comfortable. This model didn't make our list of the best keyboards , as there's one major downside: It's so very expensive. It's tough to recommend any keyboard at $199, even if it is a first-party Apple product. It's a bit easier to recommend at $179. Check out our coverage of the best Apple deals for more discounts, and follow @EngadgetDeals on X for the latest tech deals and buying advice.
