How Much Will Vijay Deverakonda Earn From Kingdom? Know The Actor's Fees Here
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom is a high-stakes political thriller set against the volatile backdrop of 1990s Sri Lanka.
Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom is finally in theatres and is getting positive reviews from everyone as of now. However, do you know how much the actor might earn if this film turns out to be a commercial hit? If reports by Telugu media are to be believed, Vijay Deverakonda charged a whopping Rs 30 crore for this movie.
However, that's not all. Insiders claim that the actor has also opted for a profit-sharing model for Kingdom. This means if Kingdom turns out to be a blockbuster, Vijay Deverakonda will also receive a sum from the profits. However, neither the actor nor his team has confirmed his remuneration model for Kingdom.
What Do We Know About Kingdom?
Directed by National Award-winner Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film is positioned as a high-octane gangster saga that centres on power and the bond between two brothers. The Hindi version features a voice-over by Ranbir Kapoor, while Jr NTR and Suriya have lent their voices to the Telugu and Tamil trailers, respectively.
In the film, Vijay Deverakonda plays an undercover cop with a personal vendetta, and his gritty, brooding performance is already being hailed as one of his best in recent years. With stylised action, an emotionally driven plot and a pulsating background score, Kingdom is shaping up to be the kind of theatre experience fans have been waiting for.
Kingdom is made on a budget of Rs 130 crore and on its opening day, the film collected Rs 15 crore in India.
Vijay Deverakonda In Don 3?
Meanwhile, there have been several rumours and claims that Vijay Deverakonda has replaced Vikrant Massey as the main villain in Farhan Akhtar's action thriller Don 3. According to paparazzo Sneh Kumar Zala, Vijay Deverakonda will face off against Ranveer Singh in Don 3, not Vikrant. However, there is no official confirmation to this as of now.

CM Pinarayi Vijayan slams communal narratives in cinema, inaugurates Kerala Film Policy Conclave
THIRUVANTHAPURAM: Condemning a recent National Award-winning film for misrepresenting Kerala and discrediting its globally respected secularism, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan urged the state's film fraternity to unite against the misuse of cinema as a medium for spreading communal narratives. Speaking at the inauguration of the two-day Kerala Film Policy Conclave in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday, the Chief Minister emphasised the need to uphold the cultural and secular foundations of Malayalam cinema. The conclave is aimed at formulating the state's first comprehensive film policy through democratic and inclusive dialogue. "This is not the recognition of art, but an endorsement of a toxic cultural tendency. Malayalam cinema has achieved greatness by being rooted in truth, humaneness, and a secular way of life, a foundation now under attack," said Pinarayi Vijayan. He added that the conclave provided an opportunity to confront these challenges and shape a policy that preserves both cultural values and the rights of industry workers. Minister for Cultural Affairs Saji Cherian, who presided over the function, said the decision to host the conclave followed a meeting between women film workers and the Chief Minister, during which key concerns within the industry were raised. "This is a free and democratic platform. A committee was constituted in response to those concerns. Its recommendations, along with findings from other reports such as Adoor Gopalakrishnan's, highlighted the urgent need for a formal film policy," said Cherian.

Randeep Hooda Bids Emotional Goodbye To His Horse Ranji: 'We Just Ran Out of Time'
Last Updated: Actor Randeep Hooda mourned his horse Ranji, who passed away at 23. The actor expressed deep sorrow on Instagram. Actor Randeep Hooda, widely known for his deep affection for animals, recently shared a heartfelt tribute to his horse, Ranji, who passed away at the age of 23. More than just a pet, Ranji was a loyal companion, a champion, and a symbol of resilience to the actor. In a moving post on Instagram, Randeep Hooda recounted Ranji's extraordinary journey — from being rejected by the army for his small size and a botched eye operation, to almost spending a life pulling tangas, until destiny intervened. A timely call between two army officers led to his rescue, and eventually, Ranji found his forever home with Hooda. 'I named him Ranji 'coz of his one eye like Maharaja Ranjit Singh," the actor wrote, recalling the horse's spirited, mischievous nature and zest for life. 'Due to his free upbringing by the Colonel he turned out to be a free spirited and a naughty child. He jumped out or crawled out of all kinds of stables we put him in. With his childlike vivacious personality there was never a dull moment with him around. Always wanting to be running free. He jumped that way too. He took me flying over many an obstacle, sometimes with my eyes shut for the scare of it and won me many a medal. He was always way superior to my riding skills at the time but he carried me well," the Veer Savarkar actor wrote. Ranji's story was also one of perseverance. He was diagnosed with laminitis — a painful and often fatal disease in horses — during his prime. But instead of giving up, Hooda gave him time, and with medical help, Ranji made a miraculous recovery and returned to jumping again. 'Heartbroken and almost not wanting to keep horses anymore, I bid you farewell my dear trusted friend," a heartbroken Hooda wrote, adding, 'My Ranji. We just ran out of time, brother."
