
'Konsert Legasi P.Ramlee' To Bring P.Ramlee's Timeless Hits To Life This September
'Konsert Legasi P.Ramlee' is set to take place at Mega Star Arena on 20th September 2025 (Saturday). The concert is dedicated to the songs from the beloved P.Ramlee and features a stellar lineup of performers. The setlist fuses classic, contemporary and pop elements with the golden age of Malay music, allowing fans to enjoy and rediscover one of Malaysia's treasured cultural icons.
The performer lineup includes Jamal Abdillah, Ella, Zainal Abidin, Nadeera Zaini, Mimi Fly and Liza Hanim. Meanwhile, renowned musicians Ramli MS, Mokhzani Ismail, Helen Yap and Michael Veerapen will take turns conducting the 60-piece orchestra. The concert will also feature special appearances from three popular P.Ramlee tribute performers: P.Radhi, Danie Hasbullah and Musly Ramlee.
The audience can look forward to over 30 songs from P.Ramlee's repertoire, reinterpreted into a mix of solo, duet and medley performances. However, some songs will retain their original arrangement, allowing longtime fans a chance to experience P.Ramlee's music at its best. Documentary on M'sian surviving 2004 tsunami to debut at int'l film fest
An upcoming documentary featuring Malaysian radio personality Priscilla Patrick and her survival of the 2004 tsunami in Sri Lanka will be making its world premiere at the 8th Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest) from July 19-27. 'The Tides Will Decide,' directed by first-time documentarian Azim Rizal and produced by Iskander and Feisal Azizuddin of Feisk Productions, follows Priscilla's personal account of how the tsunami has profoundly impacted her life.
