Man already in jail charged in Atlanta double shooting that left 1 dead
Atlanta police have charged a man who was already in the Clayton County jail with murder and armed robbery.
Police say Desmond Felts, 24, was in custody in Clayton County, but has since been extradited to Fulton County in connection with the deadly shooting of a 33-year-old man.
Felts is charged with murder, two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of armed robbery.

Officers were called to Newcastle Street just after 12:15 a.m. on April 18. Channel 2's Bryan Mims was at the shooting scene during Channel 2 Action News This Morning.
Police shared video after the shooting of a group of three men walking up to a home and then being let inside.

Atlanta police say two of those men are believed to have been involved in the shooting. It's unclear who the third person is.
A 32-year-old man was also shot several times and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. His current condition is unclear.
Neither victim's identity has been released.

Pennsylvania schools could soon be banned from offering students food with common food dyes. The big picture: HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the Trump administration have launched bids to eliminate synthetic dyes from the food supply and revamp what Americans eat. State of play: The artificial dye ban proposed in the state House would prevent public schools from serving food with the following substances: Blue 1, Blue 2, Green 3, Red 40, Yellow 5 and Yellow 6. Zoom out: Such bans have been a growing trend at the state level. After California passed a first-in-the-nation food dye law two years ago, at least two dozen states have taken up similar legislation. That includes West Virginia, which recently passed a law to ban nine synthetic dyes and additives from food sold in the state. Plus: The FDA recently approved three natural color additives in its effort to eliminate synthetic dyes in foods. Between the lines: Republican state Rep. Natalie Mihalek, who serves part of Allegheny and Washington counties, filed her food-dye ban bill as part of a legislative package of proposals that address the state's food supply. Those proposals include the disclosure of certain chemicals on food labels. Another proposal in the Pennsylvania Senate seeks to allow schools to offer whole and 2% milk that's produced in Pennsylvania. What they're saying: Mihalek tells Axios she became interested in banning food dyes over concerns about what her three school-aged children were eating.

Atlanta and Fulton County leaders are offering the chance to clear your record at the Record Restriction (Expungement) Job and Resource Fair this Saturday. Even a minor or dismissed charge can create big troubles down the road when it comes to job seeking, securing housing, or being denied educational or financial aid opportunities. At the event at the C.T. Martin Recreation Center on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon, you can get an opportunity to see what's on your record and get advice on what can be removed. An expungement is the legal process of restricting eligible records on a person's official criminal history report from public view and makes them visible only to law enforcement for criminal justice purposes. A person is eligible to have their record expunged if they were arrested in a Fulton County jurisdiction, committed certain misdemeanors under the age of 21, or is a 'youthful offender' who has completed a pre-trial intervention/diversion program. According to the Fulton County government, 'The record will not be expunged if the prosecution decided not to prosecute a criminal case (nolle prossed), the case was dead docketed or otherwise dismissed because: did not plead guilty/nolo contendere or convicted/found guilty at trial.'
