Doctor, 25, Dies Of Burn Injuries, Mother Claims Murder
A 25-year-old medical graduate, Bhawana Yadav, from Rajasthan preparing for postgraduate medical studies in Delhi suffered severe burn injuries while she was in Hisar. After her mother was informed, she took her daughter to Jaipur, where the young doctor died during treatment on Thursday.
The circumstances surrounding her death are fuzzy.
Gayatri Yadav, her mother, has filed a zero FIR in Jaipur. The same has been forwarded to Hisar Civil Lines Police station for further investigation.
Bhawana Yadav completed her medical studies from Philippines in 2023. She was preparing for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination, a medical licensing exam in India, compulsory for Indian citizens and OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) cardholders who obtained their MBBS degree abroad.
According to the mother's complaint, the 25-year-old was attending online classes and travelling to Delhi weekly for tests. On April 21, she was in Delhi for an exam. In Delhi, Bhawana used to stay with her sister, who is preparing for the Civil Services Exam. On April 21 and 22, Bhawana stayed with her sister and appeared for her exams. On April 23, Bhawana called her mother to say she would return by 24th morning, but never did.
On April 24, a man named Umesh Yadav called the medical graduate's mother to inform her that Bhawana suffered burn injuries and was admitted to Soni Hospital in Haryana's Hisar.
Soon after, the mother reached Hisar. The hospital was unclear where Bhawana was found or the circumstances leading to her condition. Due to the severity of her injuries, the 25-year-old was later shifted to SMS Hospital in Jaipur, where she died during treatment on the night of April 24.
The mother has claimed that there were sharp weapon injury marks on her daughter's abdomen. She further alleged that her daughter was stabbed and then set on fire, suggesting she was murdered. Bhawana's laptop, mobile phone and other valuables are missing, she further claimed.

Who Is Jasbir Singh, YouTuber Arrested In Punjab For Spying For Pakistan
The Punjab Police have arrested YouTuber Jasbir Singh for his alleged involvement in a Pakistan-backed espionage network. Mr Singh, who runs the popular YouTube channel JaanMahal Video, was picked up by the State Special Operations Cell (SSOC) in Mohali on Wednesday following intelligence inputs. According to the police, Mr Singh was in direct contact with a Pakistani intelligence officer identified as Shakir, alias Jutt Randhawa, who is believed to be part of a terror-linked spy network operated by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Investigators said Mr Singh passed on sensitive information about Indian security force movements. Who Is Jasbir Singh? Jasbir Singh is a 41-year-old YouTuber from Mahlan village in Ropar district, Punjab. He currently lives in Rupnagar, Punjab. His Facebook picture contains the tag, "I support farmers." He runs a popular YouTube channel called JaanMahal Video, which has over 1.1 million subscribers. His content mainly includes travel videos documenting his trips to countries like Malaysia, Maldives, Thailand and others. On Instagram, Jasbir Singh has close to 42,000 followers. His Instagram bio describes him as a food vlogger. His last Instagram post, uploaded two days ago, featured a video of his son celebrating Punjab Kings' win over Mumbai Indians in the IPL semi final. A cricket enthusiast, Mr Singh frequently attends matches at stadiums and appears to be involved with his local cricket club, as seen in several of his Instagram videos. Why Was Jasbir Singh Arrested? Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav confirmed that Mr Singh maintained ties with Jyoti Malhotra, a Haryana-based YouTuber, who was arrested on May 15 in a similar espionage case. Investigators accused Ms Malhotra of spying for Pakistan and reported her links to the same network. According to Punjab Police, Jasbir Singh visited Pakistan three times, around the same time Jyoti Malhotra travelled there. Mr Singh was arrested in Rupnagar, and forensic teams are currently examining multiple Pakistani phone numbers found on his devices. Authorities also revealed that Mr Singh attended the Pakistan National Day event at the Pakistani Embassy in Delhi, where Pakistan High Commission official Ehsan-ur-Rahim, alias Danish, invited him. Man Robbed Of Rs 14.5 Lakh Cash Garland At Gunpoint After Rajasthan Wedding
A man carrying a garland made of currency notes worth Rs 14.5 lakh was robbed at gunpoint. He was returning from a wedding in Bhiwadi in Rajasthan's Alwar district. The incident occurred on June 1 and left the victim with head injuries. Mr Shad, a relative of the groom from Kishangarh Bas town, rented the cash garland from Haryana for the wedding ceremony. Made from around 3,000 notes of Rs 500 each, the garland was meant as a grand gesture to honour the groom, a common tradition in Indian weddings. According to police, the robbery occurred while Mr Shad and another person were on their way back to Haryana on a motorcycle, carrying the rented garland. Near Chuharpur village, a Hyundai Creta approached them at high speed, deliberately ramming their bike to stop them. The assailants then threatened Mr Shad with a gun and forcibly snatched the cash garland. He was also hit on the head, resulting in injuries. Police officials quickly arrived at the scene, inspected the area, and launched a search for the suspects. Deputy Superintendent of Police Kailash Chaudhary confirmed that a case has been registered based on Mr Shad's complaint and that investigations are underway. He caught up to the driver, climbed onto the truck, forced him out, and, along with others from the wedding party, confronted him. The driver claimed he took the garland by mistake and had no intention to steal. No official complaint was filed, but a video of the dramatic chase went viral on social media.
