In the world of glitz and glamour, there are a bunch of personalities who shine brighter than the stars. From acting to directing, these people have everything in them — you ask for it, and they have it! A similar personality who is living the same life and for years has turned coffee into conversation and emotions into epics. This actor-turned-director has not only acted in a superhit film, but also given blockbuster movies. A close friend of Shah Rukh Khan, and a conversation starter to many, the Bollywood personality we are discussing today is none other than Karan Johar.
Karan Johar has an epic history. He is the name behind giving many new talents to the Bollywood industry. From Alia Bhatt to Sidharth Malhotra, to Janhvi Kapoor and more, the man made sure that Bollywood has it all. While today, KJo is one of the most celebrated directors, his history has never been the same. From battling highs and lows to making a name, Karan Johar has come a long way.
Karan Johar's acting debut was in the 1989 Doordarshan TV show Indradhanush, where he played the role of Shrikant. He was 15 years old at the time. The Great Indian Kapil Show 3: Kapil Sharma jokingly takes a dig at Archana Puran Singh's vlogs; says 'Free me poore family ko khana khilane ka...'

Season 3 of The Great Indian Kapil Show began with a riot of laughter as Bollywood superstar Salman Khan joined Kapil Sharma and the team for its grand premiere. While Salman made candid revelations, the show also brought plenty of behind-the-scenes banter — especially when it came to Archana Puran Singh and her newfound role as a YouTuber. Kapil Sharma, back on screen after a six-month break, took the opportunity to take a good-natured dig at Archana. He quipped, 'Let me say, I worked on two films back-to-back. Had you been working, you wouldn't have felt six months. For you, it must have been like 6 years.' Archana quickly clarified, 'I was also working. I launched my YouTube channel and I have my regular vlogs. They are doing good.' But Kapil wasn't about to let that slide. With his signature wit, he joked, 'Yes, I've seen them. Free me poore family ko khana khilane ka achha tareeka dhoonda hai. Usko vlog nahi, fraud kehte hai!' He continued with mock commentary on Archana's dining adventures: 'She asks for a discount at every restaurant she visits. 'At least give me a discount if the food's not on the house. I am Archana Puran Singh, haven't you seen my movie Jalwa?'' Adding more to the laughter, he said, 'The poor man kept saying he hadn't seen the movie. Then she pulled Parmeet sir into it saying, 'I'm sure you recognise him from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Throw in some aloo tikkis in his name.'' Kapil also warmly welcomed Archana's family in the episode. Her husband Parmeet Sethi, sons Ayushmaan and Aaryamann, and their house help Bhagyashree were present in the audience, making the premiere a warm, family-filled affair.

But there is one more film she was doing and that is the 2003 film Chalte Chalte with Shah Rukh Khan. So why did this not happen? Singh revealed, 'Aishwarya was already a part of it and they started shooting. Some mix up happened and they were stuck in the middle and looking for someone. Aziz Mirza had seen my work and was Sudhir Mishra's close friend and wanted to work with me. They reached out to me, that's what Shah Rukh told me.' STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD She added, 'This was the time when I gave up work and changed my phone number. So it didn't happen.' On Housefull 5 success The actress revealed, 'Nobody knows what the audiences want to watch, what they are going to enjoy. Do they want to watch a thriller or a love story? What is it? Everyone was keeping their fingers crossed all the time. We were messaging each other also 'Fingers crossed.' I am glad that people are happy to see a comedy.' She even spoke about the idea of two climaxes in the film, she plays the killer in version B. 'At that time we were not told right till the October of last year. Even when we were shooting for different climaxes, the cast was unaware too. Akshay knew and whoever was in the scene knew. Sajid was very clear he wants to keep this a secret.' On playing a villain in Housefull 5 I think the villain is the most interesting character. The evil is always more exciting. Maya is a very interesting character and there is a reason why she turns evil. I got to do a little bit of action and we mixed with thriller and comedy, it was lovely. I loved playing her.
