OIC condemns Israeli occupation's approval of 22 new settlements
Jeddah - Saba:
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned the Israeli occupation authorities' decision to approve the establishment of 22 new settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory.
In a statement issued on Friday, the OIC considered this step an attempt by the occupation authorities to pursue their settlement plans aimed at changing the geographic and demographic reality of the occupied Palestinian territory, in flagrant violation of international law and United Nations resolutions, particularly Security Council Resolution 2334 of 2016.
The OIC renewed its call on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to shoulder its responsibilities towards putting an end to the crimes of aggression, displacement, colonization, and starvation committed by the Israeli occupation.
