Kiera Knightley turns heads in a sheer white lace co-ord as she attends the Biarritz Film Festival
Kiera Knightley cut a stylish figure in a lace ensemble as she attended the Biarritz Film Festival in Paris.
The British actress, 40, flashed a smile and waved to onlookers as she stepped out on Saturday for the star-studded event.
Embracing the warmth, she wore a sheer white co-ord with gold button detailing that clung to her petite frame, pairing it with a pair of classy black mule sandals.
Kiera's iconic bob framed her face with soft waves, and she completed her look with sunglasses.
The superstar was stopped by fans on the street as she posed for quick photos.
For six days, the Biarritz Film Festival – Nouvelles Vagues presents an international competition composed of eight feature films never before released in French theaters.
Alongside the official competition, the Festival screens over thirty films, including an open-air screening.
It comes after new accounts have shown there is a whopping £7.1million in profits at Kiera's company Ponder Rights, including £411,000 earned in 2024.
Its riches sit alongside £9.7million held in performing arts company KCK Boo, as well as £7.8million worth of properties held in nominee company Charlotte Road - that's a total of almost £25million.
Explaining her frugality, Keira said: 'Living an [expensive] lifestyle means you can't hang out with people who don't live that lifestyle. It alienates you.'
'Some of my best, most hilarious times, have been in the least luxurious places.'
Keira is famously frugal - and when she shops at her local Tesco with her husband, Klaxons musician James Righton, they have been known to use separate self-service checkouts.
The actress lives in a £4million North London mansion with her family. She bought the pad using a £2.3million loan from her own company.
It comes after it was revealed Keira has 'reunited with Daniel Craig on the school run' after former co-stars enrolled their children in the same private school.

Keira's husband James is very involved in school activities, appearing in the Christmas show, and his enthusiasm is matched by Daniel and his Oscar-winning wife, Rachel Weisz.
'Keira and James are very into their children's school,' a source tells me.
'They always want to get involved and now it's rubbing off on Daniel and Rachel. Their kids are in the same year, which is handy.'
Keira recently offered insights into her passions and politics in a new interview with Vanity Fair Italy as she shared her views on Brexit and climate change.
The actress opened up about her 'left-wing artistic' opinions in a candid conversation with the fashion magazine in October.
Keira revealed how she cried over the decision to leave the European Union during Brexit and shared her worries that the world will 'explode' due to climate change.
Speaking on Brexit, she said: 'I campaigned for the remainside. I was in tears when Brexit happened. And I have no idea what is going to happen.
'But I really hope that, from now on, there will be better relations between the EU and Britain: the bad relationship was just ridiculous, particularly at a point when we needed to work together to solve such big problems.'
Sharing her concerns about climate change, Keira went on: 'That and climate change. I mean, I'm worried that the world will explode!
'I always tell my daughters to grab happiness wherever they can find it, but I'm aware it won't be easy with all these situations getting out of control.'
Elsewhere, Keira opened up about her opinion on paternity leave in the UK, which she claimed was a 'ridiculous system' because dads only get two weeks off.
She said: 'We just have to look up at the Scandinavian countries: that's how you bring dads into childcare more.
'However, if I look at my group of friends, I see things are evolving: when I bring my kids to school, all of the dads are there.

Inside newly-single Sophie Radford's ‘feral' Saturday night out – from her sexy outfit to downing shots & signing boobs
SHE bemoaned her "full on" mummy lifestyle just months before she appeared to confirm she's split from her husband. And now Sophie Radford - the eldest daughter of parents-of-22 Sue and Noel Radford - is reportedly single again, she seems to be making up for lost time on the partying front. 7 7 7 7 The mother-of-three took to her Instagram page to share pictures and videos from the wild night out with her pals on her Stories. Sophie dressed to impress for the evening out, and showed off her gym-honed figure in a mesh see-through crop top and leather trousers, which she teamed with some tie up heels. The 31-year-old looked like she was enjoying herself as she posed for snaps with her mate Cerys, who wrote "let's get feral" over the top of a picture of herself and Sophie. The alcohol then started flowing, with Sophie posting a video of a tray full of shots. She also turned "shot girl" as she carried a tray of drinks back to her table, shimmying in delight as she did so. The drinking continued as Sophie and Cerys downed their shots, before the former got up close and personal with one of her mates. In a video of her friend sporting some writing on her decolletage, Sophie added: "Had a fan ask for a picture so Georgia made me sign her t**s!" The evening out concluded with a "pit stop" at McDonald's on the way home, with Sophie treating herself to a large fries and a double cheeseburger. The wild festivities came after Sophie broke down in tears as she admitted she was struggling during an episode of the family's reality show 22 Kids & Counting last August. During the run-up to her 30th birthday, she reflected on how her life had changed since becoming a mother. "Usually people in their twenties are out partying, but my twenties were very different, I had three kids, all within a year between them," she said. "It's hard going, it's definitely hard going. It's the same routine every day, it's so full on, all the time." The mum also acknowledged that her relationship with husband Joe Broadley had suffered since having children. "With me and Joe, we used to go out to cinemas, out for meals, go out shopping, do all sorts of things and it all stopped," she added. "Because I've seen my mum and dad so happy, I do feel like I should be like that as well. However, it's not for everyone. Sophie hinted during a Q&A with fans on Instagram in May that her marriage hadn't worked out. The Radford Family's TV history THE first ever episode of 22 Kids and Counting aired on Channel 5 on 22nd February, 2021. After the first series - which had just four episodes in it - performed well, Channel 5 commissioned a 10-episode second season, which was broadcast in 2022. They went on to commission a third series, which included a Christmas special aired in December 2023. The fourth season began airing in January 2024, but fans were left disappointed when it stopped after six episodes. Sue and Noel reassured viewers that they were just taking a little break, and the next episode will be airing on 21st July. You can catch up on all previous episodes of 22 Kids and Counting on My 5, here. Asked by a curious fan if she was single after being married for almost 10 years, Sophie replied: "YES. That's all that will be said on it." Sophie and Joe married in 2015 and have three children together, Daisy Mae, 12, Ayprill Louise, 10, and Leo, nine. Earlier in the Q&A session, Sophie was asked how she and Joe were. When they asked, "How are you and Joe?", Sophie answered: "How are we... TBC. Privacy". 7 7 7

Meghan Markle gives a glimpse into her 'weekend plans' in new As Ever post after launch of latest products - and fans are delighted by a hidden detail
Meghan Markle gave her fans an insight into her relaxing weekend plans via Instagram on Saturday. On Saturday, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared a snap of her out in the garden picking fresh fruits to her lifestyle brand, As Ever's Instagram account. She captioned the image: 'Weekend plans: pick, snack, repeat,' followed by a peach emoji. In the image Meghan can be seen standing under a fruit tree reaching up while dressed in a relaxed outfit which included a monogrammed wide-brimmed straw hat. The duchess had her hair pulled back into a low messy bun and was wearing a white linen button-down and had the hat hanging over her back. Eagle-eyed fans were able to track down Meghan's hat and noticed she had customised it to suit her specific style. The Mariella Vilar Rancher hat is available for purchase online for $105, or £76, but is currently sold out with only waitlist slots open for potential buyers. The stylish accessory can be made custom to each customer by choosing the chin strap and adding a burnt branded monogram. Fan account Meghansclosetchronicles on Instagram pointed out that the duchess has customised her sun hat by adding a single 'M' monogram and a 'Boot Leather' strap in the shade 'Camel.' The new snap comes after Meghan shared her plans last weekend with a sun-soaked beach pic. She captioned the post: 'That weekend feeling' followed by a sun emoji and musical notes. In the image, the duchess is seen walking barefoot along the sand, dressed in a relaxed cream button-down and matching white shorts, completing the look with oversized sunglasses and a wide-brimmed sun hat. The post offers a rare candid glimpse into her off-duty style - and showcases her enviably toned legs. Meghan shared the photo with her 3.9 million Instagram followers, although fans weren't able to leave messages of support since Prince Harry 's wife has comments turned off on all her posts. The decision to limit interaction on her account has sparked disappointment, though it's consistent with her controlled return to the platform. The new post follows the official launch of Meghan's lifestyle brand, As Ever, which debuted in April 2025. Since then, she has consistently shared promotional content and product updates, including the release of fruit spreads, jams, and baking mixes. The brand has been positioned as a modern, upscale take on domestic living and has quickly gained traction online. Her Instagram account features a mix of personal snapshots and As Ever product features, offering followers a curated look at her life in California. The latest beachside photo does not appear to be tied to the brand, but comes amid steady engagement on her main page and the As Ever handle. Earlier this month, she revealed a trio of new products as she launched a Napa Valley rosé wine, an apricot spread and a new honey. Meghan shared the photo with her 3.9 million Instagram followers, although fans weren't able to leave messages of support since Prince Harry 's wife has comments turned off on all her posts There has been no official statement from Meghan regarding Lauren and Jeff's weekend wedding in Italy. She has not commented on her absence or addressed the event publicly. Other noticeable missing celebrities from the festivities include Eva Longoria and Katy Perry. Prince Harry's last public appearance was made just a day earlier in New York City where he sat down with NEXUS co-founder and CEO Rachel Gerrol to speak about impact and service. His last visit to the Big Apple was when he accompanied Meghan to support her for her appearance on the Time100 panel.

Rita Ora admits she's 'made a lot of mistakes' as she alludes to her Covid rule-breaking scandals and says she regrets 'not being more considerate'
Rita Ora has owned up to making 'a lot of mistakes' and revealed her biggest regret is 'not being more considerate' to others, as she alluded to her infamous flouting of lockdown rules during the Covid pandemic. The singer, 34, hit headlines in November 2020 when she went against strict quarantine restrictions to hold a 30th birthday party at a west London restaurant. The songwriter was branded 'selfish' and was fined £10,000 by British police for throwing the bash, just days after taking a trip to North Africa - in another flagrant rule break. Five years on, and Rita has alluded to the controversy, as she confessed that she had 'made a lot of mistakes', but insisted that she had learned and grown from them. Opening up on the Reign with Josh Smith podcast, she claimed she hadn't realised at the time what responsibility she had to act as a role model to her fans. She said: 'I've always been so honest with my fans, and sometimes that's put me in uncomfortable positions and sometimes I've learned a lot. 'I've made a lot of mistakes and I've definitely learned from them, and I feel so lucky to have a voice people actually care to listen to.' When asked if there was one mistake she'd made that she regretted most of all, Rita alluded to her infamous Covid rule break, saying she wished she'd been 'more considerate' and didn't realise the 'responsibility' she had as a role model to fans. She said: 'I think all in all public opinion was an important thing for me for a long time, because I came up in my twenties. 'I made money, I didn't come from money, and I just really was living every day like it was my last, with no care about what was going to happen the next day. 'I think that's what I regret - not being a bit more considerate, I would say, with myself, my body, my mental health, but also others. 'I was always respectful and appreciative of others, but I was like, "This is what we are doing and that's that'" 'And I never really understood, how much responsibility I had for other people, like my fans, how much I inspire people or the pressures we have to keep people on the right path. 'I think a lot of people were looking up at me, looking for me to give them a lot of answers, and I didn't mentally digest that. I was just living, going and going and not stopping.' She went on: 'But it's hard for me too. I think for anyone in my position to have that responsibility, like wake up one day and you're like, "Oh, wow, I have all these people that are depending on me to really give them inspiration'. And I don't know and I'm also human. 'But now I feel like it's something that I take in pride and I'm really proud of this job and responsibility I have got now with my fans and this connection and I just want to keep it really honest and transparent. 'I've never changed my opinions or personality, and I definitely speak before I think sometimes, but i think that's the purity of artist. I never want to feel like i'm over calculated, that's just not what artists are.' While Rita also insisted that these days her birthdays are a much 'lonelier' affair than her blowout 30th, due to her work ethic and busy schedule. She said: 'I do sacrifice a lot of things to do that, like I don't see my family as much. I have lonely birthdays. I miss Christmases. It's a lot of sacrifices to do this.' Rita had previously flown by private jet to Cairo on November 21 to perform at the five-star W Hotel and returned the next day, where under Government quarantine rules, she should have self-isolated for 14 days. Instead, the former America's Next Top Model presenter threw a soiree on November 28 at the exclusive eatery in the English capital. The Notting Hill venue was offered £5,000 from Rita's team to break Covid rules, while her security also requested they turn off their CCTV cameras before guests arrived. The manager of the restaurant was sacked and the venue faced losing its licence for six weeks. Rita apologised at the time, stating: 'Hello all, I attended a small gathering with some friends to celebrate my 30th birthday. 'It was a spur of the moment decision made with the misguided view that we were coming out of lockdown and this would be OK… I'm deeply sorry for breaking the rules and in turn understand that this puts people at risk. 'This was a serious and inexcusable error of judgement. Given the restrictions, I realise how irresponsible these actions were and I take full responsibility. 'I feel particularly embarrassed knowing first-hand how hard people have worked to combat this terrible illness and being fully aware of the sacrifices that people and businesses have made to help keep us all safe. Even though this won't make it right, I want to sincerely apologise.' In another apology about her trip to Egypt, she said: 'I recently flew to Egypt to perform at a corporate event for a private company, where my travel party followed protocol and presented negative Covid tests upon entry, as required by Egyptian authorities. 'Upon my return to Britain, I should have followed Government advice and isolated myself for the required period. As you know, I didn't follow Government advice and… I apologise again, unreservedly. 'While I realise the apologetic words of a pop star might not carry much weight, especially one who has broken the rules like I have, I do realise some might seek to follow my example. 'My message to them is simple: please don't. The guilt and shame I've carried this week for my mistake aren't worth it. 'Instead, continue to listen to the Government advice and the voices of the heroes of the NHS and take the required precautions.' Speaking to The Independent in December 2021, Rita tearfully expressed her regret for the party and wishes it had never happened. She said: 'I am incredibly embarrassed. I still feel embarrassed. And the regret… It's really hard for me to talk about it. 'I just wish I had made a different choice. It makes me sad because it's something I wish had never happened. 'People were making huge sacrifices at the time, and I let them down. And that hurts. It really hurts.' Elsewhere in the podcast interview, Rita - who married the 49-year-old filmmaker Taika Waititi, 49, in 2022 - also spoke about the inspiration behind her latest racy single, Heat. The hitmaker said: 'My last record was amazing, in my opinion, because it had depth and a storyline, and it was about love. 'I got married and I really was inspired by my relationship, and it just was where I was at in my life. And now I'm at a point where I love my partner, love my relationship.' She continued: 'But f*** that. I just want to be in the moment and have fun and think about what I want to feel like when I'm in Ibiza with my friends, drinking a Chardonnay with ice, having the sun beaming down, SPF making me sweat. 'How do I want to feel when I'm drunk in the day? And that was how Heat happened. I had the best time making this record. 'I love the idea of the fact I'm speaking, it's like sex on sight, it's intentional, it's direct, it's kind of cheeky, it's rude, it's iconic.'
