The Kansas City Chiefs have put Super Bowl LIX in the rearview as they gear up for the 2025 season. It will certainly be a change of pace not being the lone team pursued following the end of a near three-year title reign.

But the focus now changes to finding the necessary motivation to enact revenge after their shocking defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles. They will get their chance on that exact opponent during Week 2 of the regular season.
While the players and coaches have moved past that game, one individual outside the organization clearly has a bone to pick with how things went down. Joining the "New Heights" podcast, NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal had to let out his frustrations with the game.
O'Neal amused Travis and Jason Kelce, campaigning that the former should have seen a bigger role against the Eagles.
"I have a question," the Hall of Famer asked. "How come they didn't use you a lot in the Super Bowl? I know you're [expletive] pissed. I don't wanna get you in trouble.

"I need the pieces that helped us win the first [expletive] Super Bowl, don't be trying to do new [expletive]... I don't wanna get you in trouble, but I wasn't happy about that."
Frankly, no one on the Chiefs could do much of anything against Philly that night. Kelce himself finished with four receptions for 39 yards on six targets.
"I tell you what, you don't have to talk, but I'm gonna talk for you," Shaq continued. "Coach, he's [expletive] 6-foot-8. Throw him the goddamn ball. Single coverage, double coverage, at the goal line. Alley-oop, that's the play you call."
Kelce has already done his damage in the Super Bowl throughout his career, holding several postseason records for a tight end. That illuminates what has been a first-ballot Hall of Fame career coming to an end after this season.

The Chiefs will have one more shot to add a ring to Kelce's collection before he hangs up his cleats. But even if they fall short, Shaq and the rest of his fans should rest assured on the extraordinary career he has put together.

Amanda Nunes confirms mammoth UFC return after intense staredown with new champion Kayla Harrison

Amanda Nunes has confirmed her intention to make a mammoth return to the UFC after engaging in an intense staredown with newly-crowned bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison. Nunes is widely considered the greatest women's fighter in UFC history, boasting the accolade as the first women to ever hold two title simultaneously while also holding the record for longest unbeaten streak in women's UFC history on nine. She bid farewell to the sport in 2023, retiring on top as she vacated both her titles to enjoy her riches and focus on her family. Now, however, she appears to be on her way back to the cage after Harrison invited her into the Octagon following her title win at UFC 316, stoking the fire for a mouth-watering title clash down the line.' 'I see you Amanda,' she said in her post-fight interview. 'Come on up. This is the next fight. 'This is the greatest fighter of all time, for a long time I've said I want what she has. I have a belt, she has a legacy, let's put it all on the line.' Return of The Lioness 🦁 🇧🇷 #UFC316Is @KaylaH vs @Amanda_Leoa next?! — UFC Europe (@UFCEurope) June 8, 2025 Joe Rogan asked Nunes if she planned to accept the challenge, to which the former two-division champion said: 'Yes definitely. We knew this was going to happen. Now, we're going to do it. I'm more than happy to come back and fight you.' After exchanging pleasantries, the pair then got the money shot in a vehement staredown in the middle of the Octagon, evoking a raucous reaction from the New Jersey crowd. It leaves the women's bantamweight division in its strongest position in years, now with a marquee bout in the pipeline. The announcement preceded Merab Dvalishvili's bantamweight title rematch with Sean O'Malley, which the Georgian steamrolled to victory in to stake his claim as the best to ever do it in his division.
