‘Morally repugnant': Chris Kenny blasts government for recognising ‘non-existent' Palestine

Sky News AUa day ago
Sky News host Chris Kenny has lashed the Albanese Labor government for their 'morally repugnant' decision to recognise the 'non-existent' state of Palestine.
The Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister confirmed Australia will recognise Palestinian statehood at the UN General Assembly in September.
'To this point, Australia has been a significant player in global affairs, known for our backbone, our values, and our steadfast adherence to logic and consistency rather than political fashion and opportunism – no longer,' Mr Kenny said.
'By abandoning Israel and the US on the issue of Palestinian statehood, Australia is turning its back on two liberal democracies with the most at stake and with the most knowledge of the complexities of this issue.
'Instead, we're throwing our lot in with the weak, virtue-signalling leaders of serious countries like the UK, France and Canada, but also with a bunch of tin pot nations, dictatorships, Islamist regimes and Communist countries.'

Australia has given Hamas ‘what they want'

Former IDF spokesperson Jonathan Conricus condemns the actions of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese over the support given to Hamas after 'giving them what they want'. 'These decisions by the UK, France, Canada, and now regretfully by Australia, these will be at the core of Hamas' campaign to dominate the Palestinian society,' Mr Conricus said. 'Nobody should be confused or surprised. This is what Hamas will campaign on, and let me tell you, they will win. 'Hamas will say, 'Our actions, our attack, our way of Jihad, of extremism, that is what gets results'. 'When democracies around the world, like Australia, are willing to hand that victory to Hamas, then of course they are excited and happy and hopeful about the future because they got what they want.'

‘Racist fruitcake' Mahmoud Abbas has ‘played' Anthony Albanese

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is a 'racist fruitcake' who has 'played' Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. This comes as Mr Albanese pushes recognition of Palestinian statehood. 'Two incredible things today humiliated Anthony Albanese ... he's been totally played for an absolute sucker by terrorists,' Mr Bolt said. 'This racist fruitcake, this Abbas, this is the man that Albanese trusts to create his Palestinian state.'
