Roxy Jacenko reveals painful condition after going up a size with $20,000 breast revision surgery
Roxy Jacenko has revealed she is suffering from bad back pain just two months after undergoing breast revision surgery.
The PR Queen, 44, shared a photo to Instagram of a private text message exchange she had with her husband Oliver Curtis.
During the conversation, she told Oliver she was suffering from a very bad back but he questioned whether the pain could be from her recent surgery after she went up a size from her previous implants.
'My back is f**ked,' she wrote.
'What from? Boobs being too big?' he asked Roxy.
'[Could] be that, didn't think of it. Bro for $20K it would remiss of me not to get my monies worth. Just saying,' she responded.
Roxy underwent breast revision surgery in March after discovering one of her implants had ruptured.
The procedure was handled by 'boob' specialist Dr Anoop Rastogi and the PR Queen was spotted out and about in Double Bay just two days later.
Daily Mail Australia understands Roxy went up a size from her previous implants.
She returned back to work at her Talent and PR agency, The Ministry of Talent, the following week.
Prior to her surgery, Roxy told Daily Mail Australia that while the rupture occurred in one implant only, she would be having both removed and replaced.
'I'll be having the implants removed in two weeks, and replaced at the same time,' she said.
The rupture was discovered during a routine MRI that is part of her annual cancer check-up. She hadn't been in for one in two years.
She said that while she suffered some initial shock at the news, an implant rupture wasn't entirely unexpected.
'I was somewhat shocked when I received the update, but I guess it's par for the course when you put something in which really isn't meant to be there,' Roxy said.
'During radiation, when I was being treated for breast cancer, I had capsular contractor on the same side, so revision surgery is not something I haven't had to do before.'
Despite the health scare, Roxy said that she has not considered removing her implants altogether.
'Not at all, I have had them since I was 24,' she said.
'If anything, what it reminds me is not to be so ignorant about doing annual check-ups regarding my previous cancer diagnosis.'
She even had advice for women who were considering implants for themselves.
'If you aren't happy with what God gave you, change it,' she said.
'I am all about doing what is right for you, and not worrying about what other people think. I am not the first with a rupture and wont be the last.'
Roxy was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 at the age of 36, and endured a six-week radiation program before receiving partial removal surgery.

"It can serve us in so many ways where we can fixate on things and achieve things and create things and really do the best work or something imaginable but often that's such a pyrrhic victory because we bleed ourselves dry or we exhaust ourselves in doing it or we abandon plans or friends or family and the reality of ADHD is that it can make us believe that what we're doing in life sometimes is the exactly the righteous course of action for us." He went on: "It's the right path in spite of what people who love us might say. And then when it gets to the point where we are our interest fizzles away, the reality kicks in and we see the truth and we see the situation for what it is. "At that point we're left kind of thinking f***, I've given up so much for this. I've ignored people who love me for this. And this is really exhausting because usually the older you get the wise you get. And while that can still be true in a situation where you have ADHD I think the reality. "As you get older you don't necessarily get wiser, you just get older and when you get older and you keep making silly little mistakes people become less tolerant of those mistakes because you're meant to be older and wiser." He added that despite so much positivity surrounding the "superpower", there is also a flip side that can be "crippling and so dehumanising and annoying". John candidly confessed: "If I could chose to live life neurotypically at this point in my life, I would jump at the chance and I know that's not very pro ADHD it's not very kind of holding up the flag our community but sometimes it's just exhausting, it's horrific and sometimes I f****** hate it." John has regularly been open about his condition since his diagnosis. He has also spoke out about his mental health battle, previously suffering from bulimia and suicidal thoughts. He explained at how one point he was so low he decided to quit fame and move to Canada, where he volunteered on a farm in a bid to go back to basics and help him recover. Speaking on Steph's Packed Lunch in 2020, he said he also suffers from sexsomnia, a condition similar to night terrors and sleep walking, but instead he engages in sexual behaviour that he doesn't remember when he's awake. "You have night terrors, I have night pleasures, because I have sexsomnia," he said. "In the night, I'll be fast asleep... My boyfriend wakes up and I'll be fondling him. He's having the time of his life and I'm fast asleep." He has also admitted he was left feeling "suicidal" in the past following his Bake Off win. "I kind of felt like I'd failed. And I felt suicidal. I really really did think I was going to end it," John explained.

Tourist's foot is 'crushed like glass' before 'everything went black'
Danielle Kliaman, 22, was left in turmoil after a horror crash left her without some of her foot. She now needs an amputation on her leg after the disaster crash in Thailand A young woman has recalled how "everything went black" after a drunk driver crashed into her scooter and left her foot "crushed like glass". Danielle Kliaman, from Canada, was enjoying her "dream" trip in Thailand when she suffered the "near-death experience". The content creator woke up to everyone "screaming" around her as she looked down and saw that the top half of her foot had "ripped off." Luckily, her sister and brother-in-law were holidaying nearby and rushed to the scene. But when they reached the hospital, the doctors wanted to amputate her leg. Although they managed to delay the major amputation, Danielle has been left with extrutiating pain and now thinks the limb needs to be removed entirely. Danielle shared the news with her 32,000 Instagram followers earlier this month. The content creator said: "I had just gone through a near-death experience, so my mind was not ready to deal with the trauma of losing part of my leg. 'But I had no idea how hard it would be. The bones were so shattered that even after reconstruction, they never really fused properly. I've had multiple surgeries and so much rehab, but it's like my foot never remembered how to function." She added: "The pain has become chronic. Every day, I'm limping, and it never healed the way we hoped. I don't think I'll ever be fully prepared for it - it's such a life-altering decision But I know that I may never walk without pain or suffering on this leg, and it feels like an exciting opportunity to get to live life again. I'm excited to step into a future where pain doesn't call the shots anymore.' Danielle had been in Thailand for a few months when she was hit by a drunk driver just over a year ago on April 13. She had spent the day 'laughing with friends and strangers'. Recalling the ordeal, she said: 'I got on my bike and it was one of those rare moments where everything felt like a dream. Then everything flipped; I saw lights, felt the impact, and everything went black. 'I thought I was dead. When I opened my eyes, I could see people running, and I could hear people screaming. I remember trying to stand, but the shock was immediate. My bones were crushed, and I didn't fully understand what I was seeing. I blacked out again, and when I woke up, I was in the back of a pick-up truck and a man was holding me still.' Thankfully, her sister and brother-in-law were travelling in the same area. They rushed straight to the hospital after a local woman rang them on Danielle's phone. She said: 'The top half of my foot was ripped off, and every single bone in my foot was crushed like glass. 'There was no structure left–it was limp. The Thai doctors wanted to amputate right away because there was nothing to rebuild. But I couldn't make that decision yet, and I wasn't ready to say goodbye to my foot." She continued: "Agony isn't the word. It was this deep, burning pain. But I also felt numb and terrified.' Danielle doesn't have a date for her amputation yet, but her mindset has started to shift. She feels there is something 'empowering' about finally making a decision. 'I'm not losing a part of me," the creator said. 'I'm reclaiming the rest of me. Amputation is not going to be easy, but I know that the possibilities that could come out of it definitely outweigh the options I have if I keep it. When I got hit, I almost died and coming to terms with that really reminds you of everything that you have to be grateful for.'
