Taking a clear stand, Tamannaah set the record straight on her alleged relationship with Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli. 'I feel so bad because I literally met him for only one day," she said. 'I have never met Virat after the shoot. Na maine unse baat ki, na unse mili hoon."
For context, a picture of Tamannaah and Virat from a commercial shoot had gone viral in the early 2010s, sparking relentless rumours that the two were dating. But as she confirmed, it was simply a professional interaction — nothing more, nothing less.
If that wasn't bizarre enough, another internet-fuelled rumour took things a notch higher — claiming she had secretly married former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq after the two were spotted at a jewellery store together. Turning to the camera with folded hands, she added playfully, 'I'm sorry sir, aapke do-teen bachhe hain… I don't know what your life is!" Calling it 'so embarrassing," Tamannaah clarified that the viral photo was from the opening of a jewellery store that they had both attended, completely coincidentally.
Reflecting on the downside of fame and the media's tendency to link her with people she has no connection with, Tamannaah admitted, 'It's very awkward. Jab koi bhi taalluq nahi hota hai aur log bana dete hain. But there is nothing you can do. Waqt lagta hai, you come to accept that aap iske baare mein kuch kar nahi sakte.
