We own Benidorm's ‘biggest Brit cafe' where pints are €1 & thousands flock for whopping 4K cal Full English challenge

THOUSANDS of Brits flock to Benidorm every summer, but there's only one spot they can gorge on a 4,000 calorie Full English while guzzling a €1 pint.
Holidaymakers rave about Uncle Ron's - the family-friendly diner where winners of a giant belly buster challenge will get their picture on the wall of fame.

The 4*-rated café is a hidden gem located on the Calle Londres, where platter-sized breakfasts go for just €12 and €1 pints pull punters in.
Its famous €12 breakfast challenge consists of four sausages, four rashers of bacon, four eggs, four hash browns, four slices of toast and two slices of fried bread, mushrooms, tomatoes and baked beans.
Not for the faint-hearted, it contains a whopping 3,800 calories - the equivalent of almost two days worth of a woman's recommended allowance.
'One in maybe 50 people manage to finish, sometimes it's more to be fair," owner Georgia Smith told The Sun.
"Last week I was doing about 15 a day."
The 59-year-old from Teesside runs Uncle Ron's with her partner, Ron, having moved to Benidorm 10 years ago.
Anyone who eats the mega platter in 20 minutes gets it for free - and anyone who completes the challenge, will get their picture on the wall of fame with a free t-shirt.
'I started the wall of fame last year and there might be about 80 people up there," Georgia said.
"I also do a €1 pint. Somebody came in the other night and ordered fifty. The full bar was covered.
"He was a well known TikToker apparently. He gave them away to customers."
While the cafe attracts its fair share of stag dos "dressed up as all sorts," Georgia insists Uncle Ron's is a family-friendly establishment.
Service is "the same day and night" and "from the minute it's open to the minute it's closed you can get a belly buster".
Georgia said: 'On a good day we do about 300 tickets a day, from 9am-3pm. I have drinkers on top of that.
'The euro pint drags a lot of people in and obviously people like a cheap pint, a lot of men mostly and obviously Benidorm is cheap and cheerful."
Uncle Ron's has gained a loyal following since it was set up five years ago, with over 24,000 followers on Facebook alone.
It comes as anti-tourism protests sweep their way through Europe, with hundreds of furious locals taking to the streets of Spain, Italy and Portugal to fight mass tourism this summer.
Georgia, however, says her business has been welcomed by everyone.
'We get a lot of Brits, I've had a few Spanish, today there was Polish in, Americans, Australians, but mainly Brits," she said.
'We're welcomed by everybody. I have people that drink in my bar that are Spanish, this season I have had a few Spanish families come in for food which is quite unusual.
'Some of the Brits don't try very hard," Georgia said of the challenge.
"They might be a bit hungover which is usually the case in Benidorm."
When it comes to speed, the current belly buster record sits just shy of seven minutes.
But not everyone is successful.
'I had somebody do it in seven minutes and ten seconds," Georgia said.
"A lot of them have gone in the toilet and been sick because they are hungover or because they have eaten too much."

Cherish bonds of love and friendship this summer, says Kate

The Princess of Wales has encouraged people to "cherish the bonds of love and friendship" this summer, as part of her Mother Nature video an Instagram post, Catherine narrates over clips showing natural landscapes and people enjoying the sunshine at the beach and in parks. It is the second such post from the princess this year - she launched the series in May with a special message for Mother's Day. Catherine has been making a gradual return to public duties since completing chemotherapy treatment last summer. Most recently she attended both Wimbledon tennis finals, as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, and Colchester Hospital's Wellbeing Garden - both in the video, which was posted to the princess' official Instagram account on Wednesday, she wrote: "It has never been more important to appreciate the value of one another, and of Mother Nature. Here's to Summer."The scenery featured was shot at locations in Sheffield, Bradford, North Wales and Anglesey and the south part of her narration, Catherine describes summer as the "season for abundance", saying that "as the flowers bloom and the fruits ripen, we too are reminded of our own potential for growth".A group of dancers from The Royal Ballet School, who performed in a Westminster Abbey carol service hosted by the princess last year, are also video concludes with Catherine encouraging us to "embrace the joy to be found in even the most fleeting of moments and shared experiences".Unlike the first video in the series, published earlier this year, the Prince of Wales does not that one, there were shots of the pair walking their dogs in Norfolk. Catherine also alluded to her cancer battle, saying nature had been her family's "sanctuary" for the past year.

Shirtless Romeo Beckham shares pictures of himself in St Tropez with brother Cruz - after estranged sibling Brooklyn snubbed whole family from his vow renewal with Nicola Peltz

Romeo Beckham gave an insight into his family's summertime jaunt to St Tropez on Wednesday as he shared photos from their yacht. Elsewhere, his brother Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 31, said 'I do' for a second time on August 2 in Westchester County in front of her family, with the Beckham clan nowhere in sight amid their ongoing 'feud'. Romeo, 22, joined his parents David, 50, and Victoria, 51, on the trip as well as siblings Harper, 14, and Cruz, 20, with Brooklyn the only Beckham child not present. He did however, spend the week before in the same location with his wife Nicola and his in-laws, but left before the Beckhams arrived. In an update to Instagram, Romeo went shirtless as he kicked back on his parents boat and soaked up some sun. Other photos showed him enjoying a game of golf as he snapped a selfie in a buggy while driving round the range. Brooklyn and Nicola, who first wed in 2022, failed to invite any members of Brooklyn's family, with reports David and Victoria heartbreakingly found out about their big day after reading about it on a US website. It's a stark contrast to Nicola's family, who had key roles at the second wedding, with her father Nelson, 83, officiating, wearing her mother Claudia's, 70, vintage wedding gown and letting her parents take centre stage once again at the after party. Brooklyn's family has been in turmoil in recent months as it has been claimed he has become increasingly estranged from his parents after failing to attend any of his father David's 50th birthday celebrations in May. The lack of Beckham presence at Brooklyn's vow renewal is the latest sign Brooklyn and Nicola have washed their hands with his family - with many indications seemingly marking Brooklyn's intentions to quit Brand Beckham for good. The Beckhams were said to be upset by the Peltzes during Brooklyn and Nicola's first wedding in 2022, as they felt they were taking over the wedding. The two families have not reunited since and Nicola has rarely been pictured with the Beckhams. A clear sign Brooklyn and Nicola have washed their hands with his family is that fact that none of the Beckham's were invited to the low-key ceremony. A source told The Sun: 'This was the final kick in the teeth for David and Victoria. Seeing Nelson having such a pivotal role at the ceremony was heartbreaking for David especially. Not one member of the 30-plus extended family knew about the wedding, or were invited.' His brother Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz said 'I do' for a second time on August 2 in Westchester County in front of her family, with the Beckham clan nowhere in sight The source added: 'His grandparents are devastated too as Brooklyn has always been so close to them.' 'It feels cruel and spiteful. This is no longer a game. It has gone beyond all that. This is a family who feel they have lost their precious boy - and see no way back. 'Honestly, they are now questioning why he even wants to keep the 'Beckham' surname - will he revert to Peltz? August 2nd 2025 - is this the day Brooklyn formally declared himself no longer a part of the Beckham family? It certainly feels like it.' Even at their butterfly-themed afterparty, it appears not one of Brooklyn's childhood friends and family was in attendance - making for a glaring signal that Brooklyn has quit both his family and former life altogether. Daily Mail contacted Brooklyn, Nicola and the Beckhams' representatives for comment at the time. Brooklyn's family's feelings towards their vow renewal could suggest why none of his relatives were on the invite list. However, Victoria, David and their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, were said to have only found out about Brooklyn's big day after reading about it on a US website.

Love Island's Liberty Poole 'SPLITS from DJ boyfriend after her friends warned he was using her for fame'

Love Island star Liberty Poole has reportedly split from boyfriend Joshua Raybould after a year of dating. The pair, who went official with their romance last August, have decided to go their separate ways after failing to see eye to eye on a few things. Liberty and Joshua split a few weeks ago due to 'not being a compatible match long-term' and reports that he was 'using her for fame'. A source told The Sun: 'Liberty and Joshua made the tough decision to end their relationship. They had an amazing year together, especially in the early stages when they were attached at the hip and going on holidays. 'They loved getting to know each other, despite concerns from her friends that he was using her for fame. 'But once the honeymoon period was over, it was clear that they weren't a compatible match long-term. Liberty is focusing on her new business and only wants people around her that are truly supportive. 'It was fun while it lasted, but they both have different priorities and they couldn't make it work.' Daily Mail have contacted Liberty and Joshua's representative for comment. Since breaking up, Liberty and Joshua have unfollowed each other on social media and Joshua has wiped his Instagram of all the pictures of the couple together. Liberty has been busy promoting her new swimwear range Uplifted The Label while Joshua has been continuing to post snap of him on nights out and DJing. Earlier this year, Liberty showcased her enviable curves as she posed in a hot pink bikini to make an inspiring body positive message. The Love Island alum took to her Instagram to share a sizzling video of her heading to a swimming pool in a bold two-piece that displayed her incredible figure. Despite looking as radiant as ever, she candidly shared her innermost insecurities in the clip, writing over the top about how she felt that her body wasn't 'summer ready' and didn't 'fit the beauty standards'. Liberty took the opportunity to then share a powerful message about self-love, as she insisted that 'all bodies are swimsuit bodies' and urged her followers to 'love the skin you're in'. The start of the video was captioned: 'Negative Thoughts: Everyone is judging how I look right now. My body isn't summer ready. 'I can't wear a swimsuit until I lose weight. I need to hide my cellulite and rolls because they don't fit the beauty standards.' But proudly smiling at the camera and relaxing in the sunshine, she then changed the writing on the clip to read: 'Reality: All bodies are swimsuit bodies confidence is the best thing you can wear. 'Stretch marks and cellulite are normal and don't make you less worthy. No one is paying as much attention to your body as you think live your life for you. You deserve to feel the sun on your skin just as you are.' In the caption, the reality star added: 'Reminder that your different body types are all going to look beautiful in your bikinis this summer enjoy yourself and love the skin your in [sic]'. Liberty shot to fame on Love Island 2021, where she famously walked away from the villa following her break up with ex-boyfriend Jake Cornish. She later went on to compete in 2023's Spin Off show Love Island Games where she was once again reunited with Jake. But after his exit, she started to explore a connection with Mitch Taylor. However, she was eliminated from the island on Day 13 after failing to find anything romantic with him.
