Actor Sanya Malhotra Enters Wellness Sector with Launch of BREE Matcha
You're reading Entrepreneur India, an international franchise of Entrepreneur Media.
In a strategic move that marks her debut as an entrepreneur, Bollywood actor Sanya Malhotra has joined hands with wellness industry's Dr. Kunal Shah and Siddharth Shah—founders of Essenzaa Nutrition—to launch BREE Matcha, a lifestyle brand rooted in traditional Japanese tea culture. The announcement, detailed in a press release by BREE Matcha, positions the brand at the intersection of ancient rituals and modern Indian wellness habits.
BREE Matcha introduces three core products—Everyday Matcha, Ceremonial Matcha, and a Ceremonial Matcha Kit—sourced directly from Kagoshima, Japan. The brand is built on the foundation of matcha's reputed benefits, including sustained energy, improved focus, and antioxidant support, without the side effects typically associated with caffeine consumption. The products also reflect Essenzaa Nutrition's 14-year track record in clean-label, clinically supported wellness formulations.
For Malhotra, the project stems from personal experience. "At a time when everything feels urgent, BREE Matcha is my personal reminder to slow down and be intentional," she said. The actor, known for her offbeat roles and grounded public image, shared that adopting matcha into her daily routine helped her find calm amid the chaos of a demanding career.
The collaboration took root when Malhotra's growing affinity for matcha intersected with Essenzaa's exploration into functional superfoods tailored to Indian consumers. What began as a casual conversation evolved into a brand that seeks to offer more than just a beverage. "We wanted to introduce a product that aligns with both health and lifestyle," said Dr. Kunal Shah. "BREE is not just about energy, it's about how you choose to show up in your day."
Essenzaa Nutrition, which exports wellness products to over 23 countries, sees BREE as a natural evolution in its mission to offer thoughtful health solutions. Siddharth Shah, co-founder of the company, emphasized the cultural and behavioral aspect of the initiative. "BREE Matcha is not just a beverage—it's a movement towards conscious consumption and modern wellness," he said. "Our vision is to make matcha a part of everyday rituals for the new-age Indian consumer."

The Analogue Duo Makes Classic TurboGrafx-16 Games Accessible Again
The Analogue Duo can play classic PC Engine and TurboGrafx-16 games without the need for emulation. For fans of the TurboGrafx and PC Engine, the Analogue Duo has a lot to offer and allows these classic systems to breathe life into their software libraries once more. Originally released in 1987 in Japan, the PC Engine started off life as a cartridge console, with its own HuCards storage setup. Technically an 8-bit system, much like the Famicom, the PC Engine did have two 16-bit graphics processors, which allowed it to compete more directly with the Super Famicom. When it came Westward in 1988, it became known as the TurboGrafx-16, with the latter '16' being something of a contentious point, as it technically wasn't a full-on 16-bit system. That said, what the PC Engine, and subsequently the TurboGrafx-16, did do very well was handle arcade ports almost perfectly. The most famous of these was the first R-Type, which was split across two HuCards, which brings me onto the Duo. The Analogue Duo supports HuCards and CD-ROMs. The Duo for both systems added a CD-ROM drive to the setup and allowed games with more audio and graphics to be pumped through the system. It also meant that games like R-Type could have their two HuCards combined onto one CD, with an all-new funky soundtrack. FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder Considering the legacy of R-Type on the PC Engine, it felt only fitting to test drive it on the Analogue Duo, which again uses a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) like their other retro-inspired systems. That means that the Analogue Duo is not emulating its games; it's running them effectively natively. This is an important point, because if you wanted to play PC Engine games, HuCard or CD, on an original system, let alone the even rarer portable PC Engine GT, you're going to have your work cut out for you. Especially as hardware such as the PC Engine GT is notoriously unreliable these days, as these systems weren't sadly built for a long lifespan, especially when it comes to the old CD-ROM drives in the Duo. The Analogue Duo uses an FPGA, so it is not emulating the games it runs. This is where the Analogue Duo comes in and allows classic HuCard and CD-ROM games to be played on modern displays at 1080p. Games like Macross 2036, being one of the earlier Masaya shmups, are very hard to get a hold of these days, and even harder to play on classic hardware (if you can even find hardware that works). This is why Analogue, and its family of retro systems using FPGA hardware, are helping to keep classic consoles like the PC Engine and the TurboGrafx-16 alive. It's also a helpful way to look back and see how the PC Engine's foray into CD-ROM games would, in turn, force Nintendo's hand and their ill-fated alliance with Sony to create the original Nintendo PlayStation. In many ways, the PC Engine was the indirect start of the PlayStation and the legacy it has had on the games industry. Thankfully, the Analogue Duo is still readily available from their online shop for $249.99, and the wirelessly compatible 8BitDo PC Engine Mini controller is still on Amazon for $24.24. Konami Confirms SILENT HILL 1 Remake with Bloober Team — GeekTyrant
Konami isn't done resurrecting Silent Hill projects. During their latest Press Start showcase, the publisher officially confirmed that the original Silent Hill (1999) is getting a full remake, and the team behind the recent Silent Hill 2 remake, Bloober Team, is developing the game. The reveal came via a brief but haunting teaser, with music pulled straight from the original game, a nod to longtime fans who know exactly what that tune signals. Originally released in 1999, Silent Hill introduced players to Harry Mason, a father searching for his missing adopted daughter, Cheryl, in the fog-drenched, cult-riddled town of Silent Hill. What starts as a desperate search slowly unravels into something far more disturbing, as Harry is pulled into a world of occult rituals and psychological horror. I stayed up all night with a friend of mine playing this game, and it scared the hell out of us, and it was one of my most memorable gaming experiences. The game was the foundation for what would become one of gaming's most iconic horror franchises, and while Silent Hill 2 tends to get all the critical love, the original game's eerie storytelling and dread-soaked design laid the groundwork. It makes sense that Konami and Bloober would want to bring new players back to where it all started—especially if the plan is to revisit Silent Hill 3 , which is directly tied to the first game's narrative. While the announcement didn't include a release date, the renewed partnership between Bloober Team and Konami seems to signal a long-term investment in Silent Hill's legacy. As for what's coming next, Silent Hill f is still on track for release on September 25, 2025. That standalone entry follows Shimizu Hinako as she fights off horrifying creatures in a twisted version of the fictional Japanese town Ebisugaoka. It promises a very different flavor of horror, but with the same mind-bending atmosphere the franchise is known for. Watch the trailer below. It starts at the 35:26 timestamp.
