Amitabh Bachchan's baritone in 'Agneepath' is one of his most popular signature qualities that elevated the strong dialogues. But not many know that Big B re-dubbed the entire movie in one single night because the audience didn't quite like the change in his voice. In an exclusive chat with India Today, Abhishek Bachchan shared an interesting anecdote about 'Agneepath' and how, as a kid, he watched his father dub the entire film over the span of one night.advertisementSharing the remarkable incident, Abhishek said, 'I remember sitting with my father, watching him re-dub 'Agneepath' in one night. In 'Agneepath', he attempted this voice, which was different than the usual tone. And when the film released, they started getting reports that people were breaking the theatres and the sound system because they said, 'Hey, what's happened to Amitabh Bachchan's voice?' They thought the speakers were off."
Continuing further, he said, "So Yash Johar, called and said, 'We have to do something about this'. And I remember that Friday night, dad went into the dubbing studio and I sat with him and I fell asleep. I was very young, and he spent the entire night re-dubbing the entire film in his normal voice. And Saturday morning, I remember around 8 o'clock, he walked out of there, woke me up and walked out. He took the cans straight for mixing. And by Saturday night, they were sending those prints out with the new voice. So we have many memories of this dubbing studio.'Abhishek Bachchan's next film is 'Kaalidhar Laapata', which will stream on Zee5.- EndsMust Watch
