ABBYY Wins Newsweek AI Impact Award for Transforming Financial Operations with Document AI

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The power of ABBYY AI was recognized by the Newsweek AI Impact Awards taking the top honor in the category, 'AI in Finance: Best Outcomes, Accounting.' This win underscores our leadership in intelligent automation and commitment to helping businesses harness the power of AI. Our customers across all functions of the business experience the same results. The award recognized ABBYY's excellence in eliminating manual invoice processing, significantly reducing operational costs and surpassing expectations with its AI-powered intelligent document processing (IDP) solutions. Judges praised ABBYY for delivering measurable impact, notably improving efficiency and accuracy, and successfully integrating with existing enterprise systems enabling more fulfilling and value-generating experiences for staff in accounts payable for leading organizations. At an Australian dairy cooperative, ABBYY's AI-powered IDP technology intelligently automated the processing of 300,000 invoices annually across two ERP systems. The initiative reduced labor costs by nearly 80%, contributing directly to the company's mission of reinvesting profits back into its farmer-owned community. ABBYY also made significant impact at a global provider of vehicle parts and accessories. Previously handling 17,000 invoices manually each month, the manufacturer adopted ABBYY's purpose-built document AI to automate the process. The transformation not only eliminated overtime costs but also reduced storage and printing costs and improved employee engagement by allowing teams to shift focus from repetitive tasks to higher-value activities like exception handling and statement reconciliations. 'We are honored to be recognized by the Newsweek AI Impact Awards for the success our customers achieve using ABBYY Document AI. This win underscores our leadership in intelligent automation and commitment to helping businesses harness the power of AI,' said Ulf Persson, CEO of ABBYY. 'While this award recognizes our impact in accounts payable and invoice processing, our customers across all functions of the business experience the same results whether it's for claims processing, retail lending, customs declarations, tax preparation, trade finance, customer onboarding, or health records digitalization and prior authorization.' The Newsweek AI Impact Awards celebrates the transformative power of AI to solve everyday business challenges and the impact and outcomes of its use. ABBYY will also be attending the Newsweek AI Impact Summit taking place June 23-25, 2025 in Sonoma, California. 'Watched by AI Guards' Yard Sign Appears in LA Neighborhoods, Signaling the Rise of AI Employees — Replacing Human Guards

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A bold new security yard sign from ArcadianAI, an AI security company, is drawing attention across California neighborhoods: 'Watched by AI Guards.' Unlike traditional alarm decals or video surveillance warnings, this sign signals a new era. Homes are now protected by autonomous AI employees rather than human guards or passive CCTV systems. Ranger doesn't just record — it responds. Share The initiative is led by ArcadianAI, a Canadian venture-backed security technology company with operations across North America. Its flagship product, Ranger, is the world's first fully autonomous AI security guard. Ranger doesn't just record — it responds. Powered by advanced LLMs, behavioral modeling, and real-time decision-making, Ranger monitors footage 24/7. It autonomously detects threats, classifies incidents, and alerts authorities — all without human input. 'Honestly, it makes me feel like we're one step ahead,' said James Lui, a community safety lead in Orange County. 'We've dealt with break-ins, porch piracy, and midnight loitering. Knowing an AI guard is actually watching gives me peace of mind.' Unlike legacy systems that rely on DVRs or remote human monitoring, ArcadianAI's platform turns existing cameras into self-operating AI security agents. It reduces false alerts, improves response time, and significantly lowers the cost of full-time monitoring. 'We've tried alarms and motion lights,' Lui added. 'But this? This actually feels like real protection.' With crime on the rise and traditional systems proving expensive or outdated, more California homeowners are turning to AI-native security. ArcadianAI's technology is already deployed across commercial properties, places of worship, and now — private residences. The 'Watched by AI Guards' sign isn't just a warning. It signals a shift from human-led patrols to fully autonomous protection. In a world where software can now outperform human guards in speed, accuracy, and scale, the future of home security has already arrived. For more information about ArcadianAI and Ranger, visit
