The show has been a smash hit this year and has topped the charts for Netflix subscribers in both the UK and US. ‌ Adolescence, which stars Line of Duty 's Stephen Graham and newcomer Owen Cooper, tells the chilling tale of a 13-year-old boy accused of murdering a classmate. With only four episodes, fans quickly devoured the limited series. ‌ But there's good news for those wanting more - Netflix has another title up its sleeve that might have slipped under the radar, starring Ashley as local drug dealer Dushane. ‌ The programme is British hit drama Top Boy, which originally aired on Channel 4 from 2011 to 2013. After the broadcaster decided not to renew it for a third series, it didn't take long for Netflix to swoop in to save the day in 2019. The streaming giant went on to renew the show twice more, allowing it to conclude on its own terms with a fifth series. The Netflix reboot stayed true to the original storyline, pleasing long-time fans, while also providing an easy introduction for newcomers, reports the Express. The programme, set in the heart of east London's housing estates, delves into the tension between the brazen drug gangs and those battling to lead honest lives amidst the crime-infested area. ‌ The drama unfolds through the intertwined tales of Dushane, an ambitious young drug dealer vying for the title of 'Top Boy', and Ra'Nell, a good-hearted yet vulnerable teen forced to grow up quickly following his mother's mental breakdown and subsequent absence. With a Rotten Tomatoes score that never dips below 90 per cent across all five series, and both the first and last instalments boasting a perfect 100 per cent, it's clear this show is a hit. Overall, Top Boy holds a stellar rating of 97 per cent. The show continues to resonate with fans, sparking conversations about societal issues, much like Adolescence.

Derry Girls star marries Scots DJ Denis Sulta in Irish ceremony with surprise Scottish twist

Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Scots DJ Denis Sulta tied the knot in a three-day wedding celebration in County Kerry attended by her Derry Girls co-star Jamie-Lee O'Donnell. Scots DJ Denis Sulta has tied the knot with Derry Girls star Saoirse-Monica Jackson in a stunning three-day wedding celebration in Ireland. Sulta, whose real name is Hector Barbour, and the Northern Irish star, best known for playing Erin Quinn in the Channel 4 sitcom, exchanged vows at Dromquinna Manor in County Kerry. ‌ The pair, who have been engaged since Denis' romantic 2023 proposal on Donegal beach, honoured their Celtic roots as they said "I do" in front of their nearest and dearest. Among those in attendance was Saoirse's Derry Girls co-star, Jamie Lee-O'Donnell, better known as Michelle in the show, who was her bridesmaid, and Sulta's mum, Muriel Gray. ‌ Denis and Saoirse were both seen grinning from ear to ear as they celebrated their big day together. The 32-year-old DJ, from Glasgow, was dressed in a full piece kilt in a Hebridean MacKenzie tartan by MacGregor and MacDuff while the Irish star looked sensational in a custom made dress by Annie Doble of Annie's Ibiza, which she described as 'Celtic warrior princess'. ‌ Her dress was made up of a short puffed sleeved corseted bodice with an asymmetric skirt that had a long trail at the back. However, she also made sure to honour her husband's Scottish roots as she surprised him when revealing the gown featured a reversible tartan print. The 31-year-old told Vogue: "We wanted both of our cultures and our families and friends to be at the centre of it." That was not the only surprise thrown in on the day as the actress' dad also changed into a Darth Vader costume in the evening and she arranged a singer dressed as Elphaba from Wicked, as well as an Irish storyteller. ‌ The three-day extravaganza is also said to have featured Irish music, Guinness on tap and photography by Story of Eve with around 160 guests in attendance. Saoirse told the Daily Mail:"Dancing went well into the early hours, we were in bed at 4.30am, but some were out until 7am so there were a few sore heads the next day. ‌ "Then we had buses pick everyone up and take them to a pub down the road, before we headed back and kept partying at the bar!" The This City is Ours star has taken to Instagram to post a series of moments from their wedding weekend as she wrote: "To all our loved ones, you are everything." She also shared her Vogue cover photoshoot of her posing in her wedding dress and enormously high heels. In the weeks before the wedding, Saoirse celebrated her boujee hen do in Montreux, Switzerland with all of her closest friends. Sporting a bride cowboy hat, she wrote on Instagram: "The best weekend with the most gorgeous people. I'm so lucky to have such amazing friends and family. Incredible."

Now, Pride and Prejudice fans have a shot at snapping up a unique piece of TV history as the picturesque manor house hits the market. The grade II-listed country house, immortalised to millions as the home of protagonist Elizabeth Bennet and her family, is up for sale for £3.95million. The BBC's 1995 adaptation featured Jennifer Ehle as Elizabeth Bennet and Colin Firth as the dashing Mr Darcy. It is widely lauded as the best adaptation of the Jane Austen classic ever made. Those wanting to live their very own Jane Austen-inspired life can strut through the Queen Anne front pillared portico or wistfully meander through the mature gardens like the on-screen family. The historic country house, featuring a wood carved doorway reputedly by Grinling Gibbons as well as eight bedrooms. It also boasts seven bathrooms and six reception rooms, providing ample room for family life and entertainment. The second floor is a flat and games room, says Knight Frank, who are handling the sale. And there's plenty of outside space too, with extensive lawns approaching the house dominated by a 400-year-old Lebanese Cedar, which has one of the biggest ever recorded in the UK. 14 The Bennet family walking into the front of Luckington Court Credit: PIC FOR REFERENCE ONLY - NOT FOR 14 Pride and Prejudice 1995 is considered the best adaptation of the novel Credit: Alamy 14 Jenifer Ehle, playing Elizabeth Bennet walking into Luckington Court gardens Credit: PIC FOR REFERENCE ONLY - NOT FOR 14 The small country estate boasts luscious views Credit: Kennedy Newsand Media 14 It is described as a 'quintessentially English' property Credit: Kennedy Newsand Media The new owners will also enjoy a tennis court, stable block, a dovecote, an outdoor riding school. The property also boasts home farm buildings, 1.27 acres of woodland and four well-presented cottages. James Walker, Regional Head of Central in Knight Frank's Country Department, said: "It is a privilege to be involved with the sale of Luckington Court, which is the epitome of a classic, small country estate. "The next custodian will appreciate the subtle grandeur and the sense of pride it evokes. "Quintessentially English and wonderfully understated." Prior to the 1995 TV series coming out, another version of Pride And Prejudice was written for the BBC in 1980 by the late Fay Weldon. But the 1995 version is arguably better known as it helped make Colin Firth a household name. And its famous lake scene inspired similar sequences in Bridget Jones' Diary and Bridgerton. Luckington Court at Luckington near Chippenham in Wiltshire had last been taken off the market in 2023, listed with estate agent Wooley & Wallis with an asking price of £6 million. In 2018, it was put up for sale for the first time in 70 years, through Strutt & Parker, with a higher guide price of £9 million. 14 The Bennet sisters walking in the garden of Longbourn which is Luckington Court in real life 14 The picturesque property is nestled in a peaceful area Credit: Kennedy Newsand Media 14 Luckington Court in Luckington, Wiltshire, famously portrayed Longbourn Credit: Kennedy Newsand Media
