RTE Kin star announces surprising new job as she opens up about life after fame
KIN star Yasmin Seky has revealed she has found a new career, months after Dancing With The Stars.
The actress played Nikita Murphy in the RTE crime drama, who was the girlfriend of gangster Viking.
Since Yasmin took part in Dancing With The Stars earlier this year, she has revealed to fans her love for horticulture.
Updating her fans on life after Dancing With The Stars, Yasmin shared: "Started a new job working in a plant nursery. So happy to be doing something I actually love."
Yasmin previously revealed she worked in a bank and continued to work there even after Kin aired, despite the show's huge success.
The Dubliner said last year: "I'll get recognised in Tesco when I'm getting three Cadbury bars for €2. People will ask why I'm there.
'With a show as big as Kin, there's that expectation that you've filmed, you're now in Hollywood and you'll be on the next big Netflix show.
'That's not the reality for a lot of actors, especially for me, I'm only starting out. I'm still working in the bank, still auditioning.
'The writing strike had a bit of an effect on everybody. It was pretty quiet, a lot of auditions stopped.
"A lot of productions are only starting to come back now.
'If you're someone who works nine to five, having the option to audition when it suits you, the only real time you have to go in person is if you get a recall.
'Most of the time they're in the UK so it's only one flight over,' she added at the time.
