Baldwin County operation leads to 10 immigration enforcement arrests
UPDATE (6/10, 4:15): FBI Mobile officials have provided an update on how many people were arrested in Foley Monday as part of an immigration enforcement event.
Officials said 11 people were arrested and eight of them had previous criminal histories, which included charges of domestic violence with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm in public and hit and run.
'My department remains committed to assisting our federal, state, and local agencies in removing these dangerous individuals from our community,' said Baldwin County Sheriff Anthony Lowery.
UPDATE (2:40 p.m.): News 5 is learning more information about 10 immigration enforcement arrests in Foley Monday morning.
According to officials, the arrests happened on County Road 12 between Highway 59 and County Road 65 near River Road.

According to an FBI – Mobile Facebook post, agents and officers with the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Homeland Security Investigations, Baldwin County Sheriff's office, Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Enforcement and Removal Operations, and United States Marshal Services conducted the immigration enforcement operation.

Minnesota shooting suspect and wife were ‘preppers,' FBI affidavit says
Hours after a Minnesota state lawmaker and her husband were fatally shot in their home, Vance Boelter, the man charged by authorities for the killing, texted his wife instructions to prepare for the worst, according to an affidavit unsealed on Friday.
